  1. "Be careful not to do your 'acts of righteousness' before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.
  2. "So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full.
  3. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
  4. so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
  5. "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full.
  1. Смотрите, не творите милостыни вашей пред людьми с тем, чтобы они видели вас: иначе не будет вам награды от Отца вашего Небесного.
  2. Итак, когда творишь милостыню, не труби перед собою, как делают лицемеры в синагогах и на улицах, чтобы прославляли их люди. Истинно говорю вам: они уже получают награду свою.
  3. У тебя же, когда творишь милостыню, пусть левая рука твоя не знает, что делает правая,
  4. чтобы милостыня твоя была втайне; и Отец твой, видящий тайное, воздаст тебе явно.
  5. И, когда молишься, не будь, как лицемеры, которые любят в синагогах и на углах улиц, останавливаясь, молиться, чтобы показаться перед людьми. Истинно говорю вам, что они уже получают награду свою.
 
 
  1. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
  2. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
  3. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
  4. "This, then, is how you should pray: " 'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
  5. your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
  1. Ты же, когда молишься, войди в комнату твою и, затворив дверь твою, помолись Отцу твоему, Который втайне; и Отец твой, видящий тайное, воздаст тебе явно.
  2. А молясь, не говорите лишнего, как язычники, ибо они думают, что в многословии своем будут услышаны;
  3. не уподобляйтесь им, ибо знает Отец ваш, в чем вы имеете нужду, прежде вашего прошения у Него.
  4. Молитесь же так: Отче наш, сущий на небесах! да святится имя Твое;
  5. да приидет Царствие Твое; да будет воля Твоя и на земле, как на небе;
 
 
  1. Give us today our daily bread.
  2. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
  3. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.'
  4. For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
  5. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
  1. хлеб наш насущный дай нам на сей день;
  2. и прости нам долги наши, как и мы прощаем должникам нашим;
  3. и не введи нас в искушение, но избавь нас от лукавого. Ибо Твое есть Царство и сила и слава во веки. Аминь.
  4. Ибо если вы будете прощать людям согрешения их, то простит и вам Отец ваш Небесный,
  5. а если не будете прощать людям согрешения их, то и Отец ваш не простит вам согрешений ваших.
 
 
  1. "When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show men they are fasting. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full.
  2. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face,
  3. so that it will not be obvious to men that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
  4. "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.
  5. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
  1. Также, когда поститесь, не будьте унылы, как лицемеры, ибо они принимают на себя мрачные лица, чтобы показаться людям постящимися. Истинно говорю вам, что они уже получают награду свою.
  2. А ты, когда постишься, помажь голову твою и умой лице твое,
  3. чтобы явиться постящимся не пред людьми, но пред Отцом твоим, Который втайне; и Отец твой, видящий тайное, воздаст тебе явно.
  4. Не собирайте себе сокровищ на земле, где моль и ржа истребляют и где воры подкапывают и крадут,
  5. но собирайте себе сокровища на небе, где ни моль, ни ржа не истребляют и где воры не подкапывают и не крадут,
 
 
  1. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
  2. "The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light.
  3. But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
  4. "No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.
  5. "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?
  1. ибо где сокровище ваше, там будет и сердце ваше.
  2. Светильник для тела есть око. Итак, если око твое будет чисто, то всё тело твое будет светло;
  3. если же око твое будет худо, то всё тело твое будет темно. Итак, если свет, который в тебе, тьма, то какова же тьма?
  4. Никто не может служить двум господам: ибо или одного будет ненавидеть, а другого любить; или одному станет усердствовать, а о другом нерадеть. Не можете служить Богу и маммоне.
  5. Посему говорю вам: не заботьтесь для души вашей, что вам есть и что пить, ни для тела вашего, во что одеться. Душа не больше ли пищи, и тело одежды?
 
 
  1. Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
  2. Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
  3. "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.
  4. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
  5. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
  1. Взгляните на птиц небесных: они ни сеют, ни жнут, ни собирают в житницы; и Отец ваш Небесный питает их. Вы не гораздо ли лучше их?
  2. Да и кто из вас, заботясь, может прибавить себе росту [хотя] на один локоть?
  3. И об одежде что заботитесь? Посмотрите на полевые лилии, как они растут: ни трудятся, ни прядут;
  4. но говорю вам, что и Соломон во всей славе своей не одевался так, как всякая из них;
  5. если же траву полевую, которая сегодня есть, а завтра будет брошена в печь, Бог так одевает, кольми паче вас, маловеры!
 
 
  1. So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
  2. For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
  3. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
  4. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
  1. Итак не заботьтесь и не говорите: что нам есть? или что пить? или во что одеться?
  2. потому что всего этого ищут язычники, и потому что Отец ваш Небесный знает, что вы имеете нужду во всем этом.
  3. Ищите же прежде Царства Божия и правды Его, и это все приложится вам.
  4. Итак не заботьтесь о завтрашнем дне, ибо завтрашний [сам] будет заботиться о своем: довольно для [каждого] дня своей заботы.
