От Матфея 22 [Russian:NIV]   
 
  1. Иисус, продолжая говорить им притчами, сказал:
  2. Царство Небесное подобно человеку царю, который сделал брачный пир для сына своего
  3. и послал рабов своих звать званых на брачный пир; и не хотели придти.
  4. Опять послал других рабов, сказав: скажите званым: вот, я приготовил обед мой, тельцы мои и что откормлено, заколото, и всё готово; приходите на брачный пир.
  5. Но они, пренебрегши то, пошли, кто на поле свое, а кто на торговлю свою;
  1. Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying:
  2. "The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son.
  3. He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.
  4. "Then he sent some more servants and said, 'Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.'
  5. "But they paid no attention and went off--one to his field, another to his business.
 
 
  1. прочие же, схватив рабов его, оскорбили и убили [их].
  2. Услышав о сем, царь разгневался, и, послав войска свои, истребил убийц оных и сжег город их.
  3. Тогда говорит он рабам своим: брачный пир готов, а званые не были достойны;
  4. итак пойдите на распутия и всех, кого найдете, зовите на брачный пир.
  5. И рабы те, выйдя на дороги, собрали всех, кого только нашли, и злых и добрых; и брачный пир наполнился возлежащими.
  1. The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and killed them.
  2. The king was enraged. He sent his army and destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
  3. "Then he said to his servants, 'The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come.
  4. Go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.'
  5. So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, both good and bad, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.
 
 
  1. Царь, войдя посмотреть возлежащих, увидел там человека, одетого не в брачную одежду,
  2. и говорит ему: друг! как ты вошел сюда не в брачной одежде? Он же молчал.
  3. Тогда сказал царь слугам: связав ему руки и ноги, возьмите его и бросьте во тьму внешнюю; там будет плач и скрежет зубов;
  4. ибо много званых, а мало избранных.
  5. Тогда фарисеи пошли и совещались, как бы уловить Его в словах.
  1. "But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes.
  2. 'Friend,' he asked, 'how did you get in here without wedding clothes?' The man was speechless.
  3. "Then the king told the attendants, 'Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
  4. "For many are invited, but few are chosen."
  5. Then the Pharisees went out and laid plans to trap him in his words.
 
 
  1. И посылают к Нему учеников своих с иродианами, говоря: Учитель! мы знаем, что Ты справедлив, и истинно пути Божию учишь, и не заботишься об угождении кому-либо, ибо не смотришь ни на какое лице;
  2. итак скажи нам: как Тебе кажется? позволительно ли давать подать кесарю, или нет?
  3. Но Иисус, видя лукавство их, сказал: что искушаете Меня, лицемеры?
  4. покажите Мне монету, которою платится подать. Они принесли Ему динарий.
  5. И говорит им: чье это изображение и надпись?
  1. They sent their disciples to him along with the Herodians. "Teacher," they said, "we know you are a man of integrity and that you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You aren't swayed by men, because you pay no attention to who they are.
  2. Tell us then, what is your opinion? Is it right to pay taxes to Caesar or not?"
  3. But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, "You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me?
  4. Show me the coin used for paying the tax." They brought him a denarius,
  5. and he asked them, "Whose portrait is this? And whose inscription?"
 
 
  1. Говорят Ему: кесаревы. Тогда говорит им: итак отдавайте кесарево кесарю, а Божие Богу.
  2. Услышав это, они удивились и, оставив Его, ушли.
  3. В тот день приступили к Нему саддукеи, которые говорят, что нет воскресения, и спросили Его:
  4. Учитель! Моисей сказал: если кто умрет, не имея детей, то брат его пусть возьмет за себя жену его и восстановит семя брату своему;
  5. было у нас семь братьев; первый, женившись, умер и, не имея детей, оставил жену свою брату своему;
  1. "Caesar's," they replied. Then he said to them, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's."
  2. When they heard this, they were amazed. So they left him and went away.
  3. That same day the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to him with a question.
  4. "Teacher," they said, "Moses told us that if a man dies without having children, his brother must marry the widow and have children for him.
  5. Now there were seven brothers among us. The first one married and died, and since he had no children, he left his wife to his brother.
 
 
  1. подобно и второй, и третий, даже до седьмого;
  2. после же всех умерла и жена;
  3. итак, в воскресении, которого из семи будет она женою? ибо все имели ее.
  4. Иисус сказал им в ответ: заблуждаетесь, не зная Писаний, ни силы Божией,
  5. ибо в воскресении ни женятся, ни выходят замуж, но пребывают, как Ангелы Божии на небесах.
  1. The same thing happened to the second and third brother, right on down to the seventh.
  2. Finally, the woman died.
  3. Now then, at the resurrection, whose wife will she be of the seven, since all of them were married to her?"
  4. Jesus replied, "You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.
  5. At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.
 
 
  1. А о воскресении мертвых не читали ли вы реченного вам Богом:
  2. Я Бог Авраама, и Бог Исаака, и Бог Иакова? Бог не есть Бог мертвых, но живых.
  3. И, слыша, народ дивился учению Его.
  4. А фарисеи, услышав, что Он привел саддукеев в молчание, собрались вместе.
  5. И один из них, законник, искушая Его, спросил, говоря:
  1. But about the resurrection of the dead--have you not read what God said to you,
  2. 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? He is not the God of the dead but of the living."
  3. When the crowds heard this, they were astonished at his teaching.
  4. Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together.
  5. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:
 
 
  1. Учитель! какая наибольшая заповедь в законе?
  2. Иисус сказал ему: возлюби Господа Бога твоего всем сердцем твоим и всею душею твоею и всем разумением твоим:
  3. сия есть первая и наибольшая заповедь;
  4. вторая же подобная ей: возлюби ближнего твоего, как самого себя;
  5. на сих двух заповедях утверждается весь закон и пророки.
  1. "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"
  2. Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'
  3. This is the first and greatest commandment.
  4. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
  5. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
 
 
  1. Когда же собрались фарисеи, Иисус спросил их:
  2. что вы думаете о Христе? чей Он сын? Говорят Ему: Давидов.
  3. Говорит им: как же Давид, по вдохновению, называет Его Господом, когда говорит:
  4. сказал Господь Господу моему: седи одесную Меня, доколе положу врагов Твоих в подножие ног Твоих?
  5. Итак, если Давид называет Его Господом, как же Он сын ему?
  1. While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,
  2. "What do you think about the Christ? Whose son is he?" "The son of David," they replied.
  3. He said to them, "How is it then that David, speaking by the Spirit, calls him 'Lord'? For he says,
  4. " 'The Lord said to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet." '
  5. If then David calls him 'Lord,' how can he be his son?"
 
 
  1. И никто не мог отвечать Ему ни слова; и с того дня никто уже не смел спрашивать Его.
  1. No one could say a word in reply, and from that day on no one dared to ask him any more questions.
