SÜLEYMANIN MƏSƏLLƏRİ 4 [Azerbaycan:KJV]   
 
  1. Ey oğullar, atanızın verdiyi tərbiyə qulağınızda qalsın, İdrakı dərk etmək üçün diqqətli olun.
  2. Çünki sizə yaxşı dərs verirəm, Təlimimi atmayın.
  3. Mən ata ocağında uşaq olanda, Anamın yeganə balası olanda
  4. Atam mənə təlim verərək dedi: «Qoy qəlbin sözümə möhkəm bağlansın, Əmrlərimə əməl et ki, ömrün uzun olsun.
  5. Hikmət qazan, idrak qazan, Sözlərimi unutma, sözümdən çıxma.
  1. Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.
  2. For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.
  3. For I was my father's son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother.
  4. He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.
  5. Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
 
 
  1. Hikmətdən ayrılmasan, o səni qoruyar, Əgər onu sevsən, səni saxlayar.
  2. Hikmət hər şeydən üstündür, gərək onu qazanasan, İdraka sahib olmaq üçün var-yoxunu verəsən.
  3. Onu üstün tutsan, səni ucaldar, Əgər ona bağlansan, səni şərəfə çatdırar.
  4. O sənin başının gözəl çələngi olar, Başına şərəf tacı qoyar».
  5. Oğlum, məni dinlə, Sözlərimi qəbul etsən, ömrünü uzadarsan.
  1. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.
  2. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
  3. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.
  4. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.
  5. Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many.
 
 
  1. Sənə hikmət yolunun təlimini verirəm, Düz yolda gəzdirirəm.
  2. Gedəndə addımların büdrəməz, Qaçanda ayaqların sürüşməz.
  3. Aldığın tərbiyəyə bağlan, ayrılma, Onu saxla, o sənin həyatındır.
  4. Pislərin yoluna ayaq basma, Şər insanın yolu ilə getmə.
  5. Çəkil, bu yolun yaxınından belə, keçmə, Uzaq dur, başqa bir səmtdən yolu keç.
  1. I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths.
  2. When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble.
  3. Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.
  4. Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.
  5. Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.
 
 
  1. Çünki şər adamlar pislik etməsələr, Yata bilməzlər. Kimisə yıxmasalar, yuxuları qaçar.
  2. Şərin çörəyini yeyərlər, Zorakılığın şərabını içərlər.
  3. Salehlərin yolu isə dan yeri tək şəfəq saçar, Nurunu artıraraq gündüzə qovuşar.
  4. Pislərinsə yolu zülmətdir, Onlar nəyə görə büdrədiklərini bilməzlər.
  5. Oğlum, sözlərimə fikir ver, Dediklərimə qulaq as.
  1. For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall.
  2. For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.
  3. But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
  4. The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.
  5. My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
 
 
  1. Onları gözlərinin önündən ayırma, Onları ürəyində qoru.
  2. Çünki onları tapanlar Həyat və cansağlığı tapar.
  3. Hər şeydən əvvəl öz ürəyini qoru, Çünki həyat çeşməsi odur.
  4. Əyri danışığı ağzından götür, Azğın dodaqları özündən uzaqlaşdır.
  5. Gözlərin irəliyə baxsın, Düppədüz qarşına nəzər sal.
  1. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
  2. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
  3. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
  4. Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.
  5. Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
 
 
  1. Getdiyin yolu düzəlt, Yollarını sahmana sal.
  2. Nə sağa, nə də sola dön, Ayağını pislikdən çək.
  1. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
  2. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.
