  1. And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.
  2. And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto the LORD, the fire was quenched.
  3. And he called the name of the place Taberah: because the fire of the LORD burnt among them.
  4. And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?
  5. We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick:
  1. 眾百姓發怨言、他們的惡語達到耶和華的耳中.耶和華聽見了就怒氣發作、使火在他們中間焚燒、直燒到營的邊界。
  2. 百姓向摩西哀求、摩西祈求耶和華、火就熄了。
  3. 那地方便叫作他備拉、因為耶和華的火燒在他們中間。
  4. 他們中間的閒雜人大起貪慾的心.以色列人又哭號說、誰給我們肉喫呢。
  5. 我們記得在埃及的時候、不花錢就喫魚、也記得有黃瓜、西瓜、𠖳菜、兪、蒜。
 
 
  1. But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.
  2. And the manna was as coriander seed, and the colour thereof as the colour of bdellium.
  3. And the people went about, and gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat it in a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil.
  4. And when the dew fell upon the camp in the night, the manna fell upon it.
  5. Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in the door of his tent: and the anger of the LORD was kindled greatly; Moses also was displeased.
  1. 現在我們的心血枯竭了、除這麼哪以外、在我們眼前並沒有別的東西。
  2. 這麼哪彷彿芫荽子、又好像珍珠。
  3. 百姓周圍行走、把麼哪收起來、或用磨推、或用臼搗、煮在鍋中、又作成餅、滋味好像新油。
  4. 夜間露水降在營中、麼哪也隨著降下。
  5. 摩西聽見百姓、各在各家的帳棚門口哭號。耶和華的怒氣便大發作、摩西就不喜悅。
 
 
  1. And Moses said unto the LORD, Wherefore hast thou afflicted thy servant? and wherefore have I not found favour in thy sight, that thou layest the burden of all this people upon me?
  2. Have I conceived all this people? have I begotten them, that thou shouldest say unto me, Carry them in thy bosom, as a nursing father beareth the sucking child, unto the land which thou swarest unto their fathers?
  3. Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us flesh, that we may eat.
  4. I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me.
  5. And if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of hand, if I have found favour in thy sight; and let me not see my wretchedness.
  1. 摩西對耶和華說、你為何苦待僕人、我為何不在你眼前蒙恩、竟把這管理百姓的重任加在我身上呢.
  2. 這百姓豈是我懷的胎、豈是我生下來的呢。你竟對我說、把他們抱在懷裡、如養育之父抱喫奶的孩子、直抱到你起誓應許給他們祖宗的地去。
  3. 我從哪裡得肉給這百姓喫呢、他們都向我哭號說、你給我們肉喫罷。
  4. 管理這百姓的責任太重了、我獨自擔當不起。
  5. 你這樣待我、我若在你眼前蒙恩、求你立時將我殺了、不叫我見自己的苦情。
 
 
  1. And the LORD said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with thee.
  2. And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.
  3. And say thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and ye shall eat flesh: for ye have wept in the ears of the LORD, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore the LORD will give you flesh, and ye shall eat.
  4. Ye shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days;
  5. But even a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome unto you: because that ye have despised the LORD which is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt?
  1. 耶和華對摩西說、你從以色列的長老中招聚七十個人、就是你所知道作百姓的長老和官長的、到我這裡來、領他們到會幕前、使他們和你一同站立。
  2. 我要在那裡降臨與你說話、也要把降於你身上的靈分賜他們、他們就和你同當這管百姓的重任、免得你獨自擔當。
  3. 又要對百姓說、你們應當自潔、豫備明天喫肉、因為你們哭號說、誰給我們肉喫、我們在埃及很好.這聲音達到了耶和華的耳中、所以他必給你們肉喫。
  4. 你們不止喫一天、兩天、五天、十天、二十天、
  5. 要喫一個整月、甚至肉從你們鼻孔裡噴出來、使你們厭惡了、因為你們厭棄住在你們中間的耶和華、在他面前哭號說、我們為何出了埃及呢。
 
 
  1. And Moses said, The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand footmen; and thou hast said, I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole month.
  2. Shall the flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to suffice them?
  3. And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD's hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not.
  4. And Moses went out, and told the people the words of the LORD, and gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people, and set them round about the tabernacle.
  5. And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease.
  1. 摩西對耶和華說、這與我同住的百姓、步行的男人有六十萬、你還說、我要把肉給他們、使他們可以喫一個整月。
  2. 難道給他們宰了羊群牛群、或是把海中所有的魚、都聚了來、就彀他們喫麼。
  3. 耶和華對摩西說、耶和華的膀臂豈是縮短了麼.現在要看我的話向你應驗不應驗。
  4. 摩西出去將耶和華的話告訴百姓、又招聚百姓的長老中七十個人來、使他們站在會幕的四圍。
  5. 耶和華在雲中降臨、對摩西說話、把降與他身上的靈分賜那七十個長老.靈停在他們身上的時候、他們就受感說話、以後卻沒有再說。
 
 
  1. But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: and the spirit rested upon them; and they were of them that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle: and they prophesied in the camp.
  2. And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp.
  3. And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them.
  4. And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all the LORD's people were prophets, and that the LORD would put his spirit upon them!
  5. And Moses gat him into the camp, he and the elders of Israel.
  1. 但有兩個人仍在營裡、一個名叫伊利達、一個名叫米達、他們本是在那些被錄的人中、卻沒有到會幕那裡去、靈停在他們身上、他們就在營裡說豫言。
  2. 有個少年人跑來告訴摩西說、伊利達、米達在營裡說豫言。
  3. 摩西的幫手嫩的兒子約書亞、就是摩西所揀選的一個人、說、請我主摩西禁止他們。
  4. 摩西對他說、你為我的緣故嫉妒人麼。惟願耶和華的百姓都受感說話、願耶和華把他的靈降在他們身上。
  5. 於是摩西和以色列的長老、都回到營裡去。
 
 
  1. And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day's journey on this side, and as it were a day's journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth.
  2. And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers: and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp.
  3. And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the wrath of the LORD was kindled against the people, and the LORD smote the people with a very great plague.
  4. And he called the name of that place Kibrothhattaavah: because there they buried the people that lusted.
  5. And the people journeyed from Kibrothhattaavah unto Hazeroth; and abode at Hazeroth.
  1. 有風從耶和華那裡颳起、把鵪鶉由海面颳來、飛散在營邊和營的四圍、這邊約有一天的路程、那邊約有一天的路程、離地面約有二肘。
  2. 百姓起來、終日終夜、並次日一整天、捕取鵪鶉、至少的也取了十賀梅珥、為自己擺列在營的四圍。
  3. 肉在他們牙齒之間、尚未嚼爛、耶和華的怒氣就向他們發作、用最重的災殃擊殺了他們。
  4. 那地方便叫作基博羅哈他瓦〔就是貪欲之人的墳墓〕、因為他們在那裡葬埋那起貪慾之心的人。
  5. 百姓從基博羅哈他瓦走到哈洗錄、就住在哈洗錄。
