  1. Jesus told his disciples: "There was a rich man whose manager was accused of wasting his possessions.
  2. So he called him in and asked him, 'What is this I hear about you? Give an account of your management, because you cannot be manager any longer.'
  3. "The manager said to himself, 'What shall I do now? My master is taking away my job. I'm not strong enough to dig, and I'm ashamed to beg--
  4. I know what I'll do so that, when I lose my job here, people will welcome me into their houses.'
  5. "So he called in each one of his master's debtors. He asked the first, 'How much do you owe my master?'
  1. 耶穌又對門徒說、有一個財主的管家.別人向他主人告他浪費主人的財物。
  2. 主人叫他來、對他說、我聽見你這事怎麼樣呢.把你所經管的交代明白。因你不能再作我的管家。
  3. 那管家心裡說、主人辭我、不用我再作管家、我將來作甚麼.鋤地呢、無力.討飯呢、怕羞。
  4. 我知道怎麼行、好叫人在我不作管家之後、接我到他們家裡去。
  5. 於是把欠他主人債的、一個一個的叫了來、問頭一個說、你欠我主人多少.
 
 
  1. " 'Eight hundred gallons of olive oil,' he replied. "The manager told him, 'Take your bill, sit down quickly, and make it four hundred.'
  2. "Then he asked the second, 'And how much do you owe?' " 'A thousand bushels of wheat,' he replied. "He told him, 'Take your bill and make it eight hundred.'
  3. "The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light.
  4. I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings.
  5. "Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.
  1. 他說、一百簍油.〔每簍約五十斤〕管家說、拿你的賬快坐下寫五十。
  2. 又問一個說、你欠多少.他說、一百石麥子.管家說、拿你的賬寫八十。
  3. 主人就誇獎這不義的管家作事聰明.因為今世之子、在世事之上、較比光明之子、更加聰明。
  4. 我又告訴你們、要藉著那不義的錢財、結交朋友.到了錢財無用的時候、他們可以接你們到永存的帳幕裡去。
  5. 人在最小的事上忠心、在大事上也忠心.在最小的事上不義、在大事上也不義。
 
 
  1. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?
  2. And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else's property, who will give you property of your own?
  3. "No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money."
  4. The Pharisees, who loved money, heard all this and were sneering at Jesus.
  5. He said to them, "You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of men, but God knows your hearts. What is highly valued among men is detestable in God's sight.
  1. 倘若你們在不義的錢財上不忠心、誰還把那真實的錢財託付你們呢。
  2. 倘若你們在別人的東西上不忠心、誰還把你們自己的東西給你們呢。
  3. 一個僕人不能事奉兩個主.不是惡這個愛那個、就是重這個輕那個.你們不能又事奉 神、又事奉瑪門。
  4. 法利賽人是貪愛錢財的、他們聽見這一切話、就嗤笑耶穌。
  5. 耶穌對他們說、你們是在人面前自稱為義的.你們的心、 神卻知道.因為人所尊貴的是 神看為可憎惡的。
 
 
  1. "The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the good news of the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it.
  2. It is easier for heaven and earth to disappear than for the least stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law.
  3. "Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
  4. "There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day.
  5. At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores
  1. 律法和先知、到約翰為止.從此 神國的福音傳開了、人人努力要進去。
  2. 天地廢去、較比律法的一點一畫落空還容易。
  3. 凡休妻另娶的、就是犯姦淫.娶被休之妻的、也是犯姦淫。
  4. 有一個財主、穿著紫色袍和細麻布衣服、天天奢華宴樂。
  5. 又有一個討飯的、名叫拉撒路、渾身生瘡、被人放在財主門口、
 
 
  1. and longing to eat what fell from the rich man's table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.
  2. "The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried.
  3. In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side.
  4. So he called to him, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.'
  5. "But Abraham replied, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony.
  1. 要得財主桌子上掉下來的零碎充飢.並且狗來餂他的瘡。
  2. 後來那討飯的死了、被天使帶去放亞伯拉罕的懷裡.財主也死了、並且埋葬了。
  3. 他在陰間受痛苦、舉目遠遠的望見亞伯拉罕、又望見拉撒路在他懷裡.
  4. 就喊著說、我祖亞伯拉罕哪、可憐我罷、打發拉撒路來、用指頭尖蘸點水、涼涼我的舌頭.因為我在這火燄裡、極其痛苦。
  5. 亞伯拉罕說、兒阿、你該回想你生前享過福、拉撒路也受過苦.如今他在這裡得安慰、你倒受痛苦。
 
 
  1. And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.'
  2. "He answered, 'Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my father's house,
  3. for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.'
  4. "Abraham replied, 'They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.'
  5. " 'No, father Abraham,' he said, 'but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.'
  1. 不但這樣、並且在你我之間、有深淵限定、以致人要從這邊過到你們那邊、是不能的、要從那邊過到我們這邊、也是不能的。
  2. 財主說、我祖阿、既是這樣、求你打發拉撒路到我父家去.
  3. 因為我還有五個弟兄.他可以對他們作見證、免得他們也來到這痛苦的地方。
  4. 亞伯拉罕說、他們有摩西和先知的話、可以聽從。
  5. 他說、我祖亞伯拉罕哪、不是的.若有一個從死裡復活的、到他們那裡去的、他們必要悔改。
 
 
  1. "He said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.' "
  1. 亞伯拉罕說、若不聽從摩西和先知的話、就是有一個從死裡復活的、他們也是不聽勸。
