羅馬書 13 [繁體:NIV]   
 
  1. 在上有權柄的、人人當順服他．因為沒有權柄不是出於　神的．凡掌權的都是　神所命的。
  2. 所以抗拒掌權的、就是抗拒　神的命．抗拒的必自取刑罰。
  3. 作官的原不是叫行善的懼怕、乃是叫作惡的懼怕。你願意不懼怕掌權的麼．你只要行善、就可得他的稱讚．
  4. 因為他是　神的用人、是與你有益的。你若作惡、卻當懼怕．因為他不是空空的佩劍．他是　神的用人、是伸冤的、刑罰那作惡的。
  5. 所以你們必須順服、不但是因為刑罰、也是因為良心。
  1. Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.
  2. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.
  3. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you.
  4. For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.
  5. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience.
 
 
  1. 你們納糧、也為這個緣故．因他們是　神的差役、常常特管這事。
  2. 凡人所當得的、就給他．當得糧的、給他納糧．當得稅的、給他上稅．當懼怕的、懼怕他．當恭敬的、恭敬他。
  3. 凡事都不可虧欠人、惟有彼此相愛、要常以為虧欠．因為愛人的就完全了律法。
  4. 像那不可姦淫、不可殺人、不可偷盜、不可貪婪、或有別的誡命、都包在愛人如己這一句話之內了。
  5. 愛是不加害與人的、所以愛就完全了律法。
  1. This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, who give their full time to governing.
  2. Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.
  3. Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law.
  4. The commandments, "Do not commit adultery," "Do not murder," "Do not steal," "Do not covet," and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
  5. Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
 
 
  1. 再者、你們曉得現今就是該趁早睡醒的時候、因為我們得救、現今比初信的時候更近了。
  2. 黑夜已深、白晝將近．我們就當脫去暗昧的行為、帶上光明的兵器。
  3. 行事為人要端正、好像行在白晝．不可荒宴醉酒．不可好色邪蕩．不可爭競嫉妒。
  4. 總要披戴主耶穌基督、不要為肉體安排、去放縱私慾。
  1. And do this, understanding the present time. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.
  2. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.
  3. Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy.
  4. Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature.
