  1. 我願意你們曉得我為你們和老底嘉人、並一切沒有與我親自見面的人、是何等的盡心竭力．
  2. 要叫他們的心得安慰、因愛心互相聯絡、以致豐豐足足在悟性中有充足的信心、使他們真知　神的奧秘、就是基督．
  3. 所積蓄的一切智慧知識、都在他裡面藏著。
  4. 我說這話、免得有人用花言巧語迷惑你們。
  5. 我身子雖與你們相離、心卻與你們同在、見你們循規蹈矩、信基督的心也堅固、我就歡喜了。
  1. I want you to know how much I am struggling for you and for those at Laodicea, and for all who have not met me personally.
  2. My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ,
  3. in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
  4. I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments.
  5. For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit and delight to see how orderly you are and how firm your faith in Christ is.
 
 
  1. 你們既然接受了主基督耶穌、就當遵他而行．
  2. 在他裡面生根建造、信心堅固、正如你們所領的教訓、感謝的心也更增長了。
  3. 你們要謹慎、恐怕有人用他的理學、和虛空的妄言、不照著基督、乃照人間的遺傳、和世上的小學、就把你們擄去．
  4. 因為　神本性一切的豐盛、都有形有體的居住在基督裡面．
  5. 你們在他裡面也得了豐盛。他是各樣執政掌權者的元首．
  1. So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him,
  2. rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
  3. See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.
  4. For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form,
  5. and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority.
 
 
  1. 你們在他裡面、也受了不是人手所行的割禮、乃是基督使你們脫去肉體情慾的割禮．
  2. 你們既受洗與他一同埋葬、也就在此與他一同復活．都因信那叫他從死裡復活　神的功用。
  3. 你們從前在過犯、和未受割禮的肉體中死了、　神赦免了你們〔或作我們〕一切過犯、便叫你們與基督一同活過來．
  4. 又塗抹了在律例上所寫、攻擊我們有礙於我們的字據、把他撤去、釘在十字架上．
  5. 既將一切執政的掌權的擄來、明顯給眾人看、就仗著十字架誇勝。
  1. In him you were also circumcised, in the putting off of the sinful nature, not with a circumcision done by the hands of men but with the circumcision done by Christ,
  2. having been buried with him in baptism and raised with him through your faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead.
  3. When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins,
  4. having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross.
  5. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.
 
 
  1. 所以不拘在飲食上、或節期、月朔、安息日、都不可讓人論斷你們．
  2. 這些原是後事的影兒．那形體卻是基督。
  3. 不可讓人因著故意謙虛、和敬拜天使、就奪去你們的獎賞．這等人拘泥在所見過的、〔有古卷作這等人窺察所沒有見過的〕隨著自己的慾心、無故的自高自大、
  4. 不持定元首、全身既然靠著他筋節得以相助聯絡、就因　神大得長進。
  5. 你們若是與基督同死、脫離了世上的小學、為甚麼仍像在世俗中活著、服從那不可拿、不可嘗、不可摸、等類的規條呢。
  1. Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.
  2. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.
  3. Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you for the prize. Such a person goes into great detail about what he has seen, and his unspiritual mind puffs him up with idle notions.
  4. He has lost connection with the Head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow.
  5. Since you died with Christ to the basic principles of this world, why, as though you still belonged to it, do you submit to its rules:
 
 
  1. 見上節
  2. 這都是照人所吩咐所教導的。說到這一切、正用的時候就都敗壞了。
  3. 這些規條、使人徒有智慧之名、用私意崇拜、自表謙卑、苦待己身、其實在克制肉體的情慾上、是毫無功效。
  1. "Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!"?
  2. These are all destined to perish with use, because they are based on human commands and teachings.
  3. Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.
