約書亞記 2 [繁體:NASB]   
 
  1. 當下嫩的兒子約書亞從什亭暗暗打發兩個人作探子、吩咐說、你們去窺探那地、和耶利哥。於是二人去了、來到一個妓女名叫喇合的家裡、就在那裡躺臥。
  2. 有人告訴耶利哥王說、今夜有以色列人來到這裡窺探此地。
  3. 耶利哥王打發人去見喇合說、那來到你這裡、進了你家的人、要交出來．因為他們來窺探全地。
  4. 女人將二人隱藏、就回答說、那人果然到我這裡來．他們是那裡來的我卻不知道。
  5. 天黑、要關城門的時候、他們出去了．往哪裡去我卻不知道．你們快快地去追趕、就必追上。
  1. Then Joshua the son of Nun sent two men as spies secretly from Shittim, saying, "Go, view the land, especially Jericho " So they went and came into the house of a harlot whose name was Rahab, and lodged there.
  2. It was told the king of Jericho, saying, "Behold, men from the sons of Israel have come here tonight to search out the land."
  3. And the king of Jericho sent word to Rahab, saying, "Bring out the men who have come to you, who have entered your house, for they have come to search out all the land."
  4. But the woman had taken the two men and hidden them, and she said, "Yes, the men came to me, but I did not know where they were from.
  5. "It came about when it was time to shut the gate at dark, that the men went out; I do not know where the men went. Pursue them quickly, for you will overtake them."
 
 
  1. （先是女人領二人上了房頂、將他們藏在那裡所擺的麻秸中。）
  2. 那些人就往約但河的渡口追趕他們去了．追趕他們的人一出去、城門就關了。
  3. 二人還沒有躺臥、女人就上房頂到他們那裡、
  4. 對他們說、我知道耶和華已經把這地賜給你們、並且因你們的緣故我們都驚慌了．這地的一切居民、在你們面前心都消化了。
  5. 因為我們聽見你們出埃及的時候、耶和華怎樣在你們前面使紅海的水乾了．並且你們怎樣待約但河東的兩個亞摩利王西宏和噩、將他們盡行毀滅。
  1. But she had brought them up to the roof and hidden them in the stalks of flax which she had laid in order on the roof.
  2. So the men pursued them on the road to the Jordan to the fords; and as soon as those who were pursuing them had gone out, they shut the gate.
  3. Now before they lay down, she came up to them on the roof,
  4. and said to the men, "I know that the LORD has given you the land, and that the terror of you has fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land have melted away before you.
  5. "For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red Sea before you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, to Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed.
 
 
  1. 我們一聽見這些事、心就消化了。因你們的緣故、並無一人有膽氣．耶和華你們的　神、本是上天下地的　神。
  2. 現在我既是恩待你們、求你們指著耶和華向我起誓、也要恩待我父家、並給我一個實在的證據、
  3. 要救活我的父母、弟兄、姊妹、和一切屬他們的、拯救我們性命不死。
  4. 二人對他說、你若不洩漏我們這件事、我們情願替你們死．耶和華將這地賜給我們的時候、我們必以慈愛誠實待你。
  5. 於是女人用繩子將二人從窗戶裡縋下去．因他的房子是在城牆邊上、他也住在城牆上。
  1. "When we heard it, our hearts melted and no courage remained in any man any longer because of you; for the LORD your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath.
  2. "Now therefore, please swear to me by the LORD, since I have dealt kindly with you, that you also will deal kindly with my father's household, and give me a pledge of truth,
  3. and spare my father and my mother and my brothers and my sisters, with all who belong to them, and deliver our lives from death."
  4. So the men said to her, "Our life for yours if you do not tell this business of ours; and it shall come about when the LORD gives us the land that we will deal kindly and faithfully with you."
  5. Then she let them down by a rope through the window, for her house was on the city wall, so that she was living on the wall.
 
 
  1. 他對他們說、你們且往山上去、恐怕追趕的人碰見你們．要在那裡隱藏三天、等追趕的人回來、然後纔可以走你們的路。
  2. 二人對他說、你要這樣行．不然、你叫我們所起的誓、就與我們無干了。
  3. 我們來到這地的時候、你要把這條朱紅線繩繫在縋我們下去的窗戶上．並要使你的父母、弟兄、和你父的全家、都聚集在你家中。
  4. 凡出了你家門往街上去的、他的罪必歸到自己的頭上〔原文是血〕與我們無干了．凡在你家裡的、若有人下手害他、流他血的罪、就歸到我們的頭上。
  5. 你若洩漏我們這件事、你叫我們所起的誓、就與我們無干了。
  1. She said to them, "Go to the hill country, so that the pursuers will not happen upon you, and hide yourselves there for three days until the pursuers return. Then afterward you may go on your way."
  2. The men said to her, "We shall be free from this oath to you which you have made us swear,
  3. unless, when we come into the land, you tie this cord of scarlet thread in the window through which you let us down, and gather to yourself into the house your father and your mother and your brothers and all your father's household.
  4. "It shall come about that anyone who goes out of the doors of your house into the street, his blood shall be on his own head, and we shall be free; but anyone who is with you in the house, his blood shall be on our head if a hand is laid on him.
  5. "But if you tell this business of ours, then we shall be free from the oath which you have made us swear."
 
 
  1. 女人說、照你們的話行罷。於是打發他們去了．又把朱紅線繩繫在窗戶上。
  2. 二人到山上、在那裡住了三天、等著追趕的人回去了。追趕的人一路找他們、卻找不著。
  3. 二人就下山回來、過了河、到嫩的兒子約書亞那裡、向他述說所遭遇的一切事。
  4. 又對約書亞說、耶和華果然將那全地交在我們手中、那地的一切居民、在我們面前心都消化了。
  1. She said, "According to your words, so be it." So she sent them away, and they departed; and she tied the scarlet cord in the window.
  2. They departed and came to the hill country, and remained there for three days until the pursuers returned. Now the pursuers had sought them all along the road, but had not found them.
  3. Then the two men returned and came down from the hill country and crossed over and came to Joshua the son of Nun, and they related to him all that had happened to them.
  4. They said to Joshua, "Surely the LORD has given all the land into our hands; moreover, all the inhabitants of the land have melted away before us."
