  1. 哈拿禱告說、我的心因耶和華快樂．我的角因耶和華高舉．我的口向仇敵張開．我因耶和華的救恩歡欣。
  2. 只有耶和華為聖、除他以外沒有可比的、也沒有磐石像我們的　神。
  3. 人不要誇口說驕傲的話、也不要出狂妄的言語、因耶和華是大有智識的　神、人的行為被他衡量。
  4. 勇士的弓都已折斷．跌倒的人以力量束腰。
  5. 素來飽足的、反作傭人求食、飢餓的、再不飢餓．不生育的、生了七個兒子．多有兒女的、反倒衰微。
  1. And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.
  2. There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.
  3. Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.
  4. The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength.
  5. They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble.
 
 
  1. 耶和華使人死、也使人活．使人下陰間、也使人往上升。
  2. 他使人貧窮、也使人富足．使人卑微、也使人高貴。
  3. 他從灰塵裡抬舉貧寒人、從糞堆中提拔窮乏人、使他們與王子同坐、得著榮耀的座位．地的柱子屬於耶和華、他將世界立在其上。
  4. 他必保護聖民的腳步、使惡人在黑暗中寂然不動、人都不能靠力量得勝。
  5. 與耶和華爭競的、必被打碎、耶和華必從天上以雷攻擊他．必審判地極的人．將力量賜與所立的王、高舉受膏者的角。
  1. The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.
  2. The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.
  3. He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he hath set the world upon them.
  4. He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.
  5. The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.
 
 
  1. 以利加拿往拉瑪回家去了。那孩子在祭司以利面前事奉耶和華。
  2. 以利的兩個兒子是惡人、不認識耶和華。
  3. 這二祭司待百姓是這樣的規矩．凡有人獻祭、正煮肉的時候、祭司的僕人就來、手拿三齒的叉子、
  4. 將叉子往罐裡、或鼎裡、或釜裡、或鍋裡一插、插上來的肉、祭司都取了去．凡上到示羅的以色列人、他們都是這樣看待。
  5. 又在未燒脂油以前、祭司的僕人就來對獻祭的人說、將肉給祭司叫他烤罷．他不要煮過的、要生的。
  1. And Elkanah went to Ramah to his house. And the child did minister unto the LORD before Eli the priest.
  2. Now the sons of Eli were sons of Belial; they knew not the LORD.
  3. And the priest's custom with the people was, that, when any man offered sacrifice, the priest's servant came, while the flesh was in seething, with a fleshhook of three teeth in his hand;
  4. And he struck it into the pan, or kettle, or caldron, or pot; all that the fleshhook brought up the priest took for himself. So they did in Shiloh unto all the Israelites that came thither.
  5. Also before they burnt the fat, the priest's servant came, and said to the man that sacrificed, Give flesh to roast for the priest; for he will not have sodden flesh of thee, but raw.
 
 
  1. 獻祭的人若說、必須先燒脂油、然後你可以隨意取肉．僕人就說、你立時給我、不然我便搶去。
  2. 如此、這二少年人的罪在耶和華面前甚重了、因為他們藐視耶和華的祭物。〔或作他們使人厭棄給耶和華獻祭〕
  3. 那時撒母耳還是孩子、穿著細麻布的以弗得、侍立在耶和華面前。
  4. 他母親每年為他作一件小外袍、同著丈夫上來獻年祭的時候、帶來給他。
  5. 以利為以利加拿和他的妻祝福、說、願耶和華由這婦人再賜你後裔、代替你從耶和華求來的孩子．他們就回本鄉去了。
  1. And if any man said unto him, Let them not fail to burn the fat presently, and then take as much as thy soul desireth; then he would answer him, Nay; but thou shalt give it me now: and if not, I will take it by force.
  2. Wherefore the sin of the young men was very great before the LORD: for men abhorred the offering of the LORD.
  3. But Samuel ministered before the LORD, being a child, girded with a linen ephod.
  4. Moreover his mother made him a little coat, and brought it to him from year to year, when she came up with her husband to offer the yearly sacrifice.
  5. And Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said, The LORD give thee seed of this woman for the loan which is lent to the LORD. And they went unto their own home.
 
 
  1. 耶和華眷顧哈拿、他就懷孕生了三個兒子、兩個女兒。那孩子撒母耳、在耶和華面前漸漸長大。
  2. 以利年甚老邁．聽見他兩個兒子待以色列眾人的事、又聽見他們與會幕門前伺候的婦人苟合。
  3. 他就對他們說、你們為何行這樣的事呢．我從這眾百姓聽見你們的惡行。
  4. 我兒阿、不可這樣、我聽見你們的風聲不好、你們使耶和華的百姓犯了罪。
  5. 人若得罪人、有士師審判他、人若得罪耶和華、誰能為他祈求呢．然而他們還是不聽父親的話、因為耶和華想要殺他們。
  1. And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD.
  2. Now Eli was very old, and heard all that his sons did unto all Israel; and how they lay with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
  3. And he said unto them, Why do ye such things? for I hear of your evil dealings by all this people.
  4. Nay, my sons; for it is no good report that I hear: ye make the LORD's people to transgress.
  5. If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him: but if a man sin against the LORD, who shall intreat for him? Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because the LORD would slay them.
 
 
  1. 孩子撒母耳漸漸長大、耶和華與人越發喜愛他。
  2. 有神人來見以利、對他說、耶和華如此說、你祖父在埃及法老家作奴僕的時候、我不是向他們顯現麼。
  3. 在以色列眾支派中、我不是揀選人作我的祭司、使他燒香、在我壇上獻祭、在我面前穿以弗得、又將以色列人所獻的火祭、都賜給你父家麼。
  4. 我所吩咐獻在我居所的祭物、你們為何踐踏、尊重你的兒子過於尊重我、將我民以色列所獻美好的祭物肥己呢。
  5. 因此、耶和華以色列的　神說、我曾說、你和你父家必永遠行在我面前、現在我卻說、決不容你們這樣行、因為尊重我的、我必重看他．藐視我的、他必被輕視。
  1. And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favour both with the LORD, and also with men.
  2. And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Did I plainly appear unto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh's house?
  3. And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to offer upon mine altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the house of thy father all the offerings made by fire of the children of Israel?
  4. Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people?
  5. Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.
 
 
  1. 日子必到、我要折斷你的膀臂、和你父家的膀臂、使你家中沒有一個老年人。
  2. 在　神使以色列人享福的時候、你必看見我居所的敗落．在你家中必永遠沒有一個老年人。
  3. 我必不從我壇前滅盡你家中的人．那未滅的必使你眼目乾癟、心中憂傷．你家中所生的人都必死在中年。
  4. 你的兩個兒子何弗尼、非尼哈所遭遇的事、可作你的證據、他們二人必一日同死．
  5. 我要為自己立一個忠心的祭司、他必照我的心意而行、我要為他建立堅固的家、他必永遠行在我的受膏者面前。
  1. Behold, the days come, that I will cut off thine arm, and the arm of thy father's house, that there shall not be an old man in thine house.
  2. And thou shalt see an enemy in my habitation, in all the wealth which God shall give Israel: and there shall not be an old man in thine house for ever.
  3. And the man of thine, whom I shall not cut off from mine altar, shall be to consume thine eyes, and to grieve thine heart: and all the increase of thine house shall die in the flower of their age.
  4. And this shall be a sign unto thee, that shall come upon thy two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas; in one day they shall die both of them.
  5. And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.
 
 
  1. 你家所剩下的人都必來叩拜他、求塊銀子、求個餅、說、求你賜我祭司的職分、好叫我得點餅喫。
  1. And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left in thine house shall come and crouch to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the priests' offices, that I may eat a piece of bread.
