  1. David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam: and when his brethren and all his father's house heard it, they went down thither to him.
  2. And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men.
  3. And David went thence to Mizpeh of Moab: and he said unto the king of Moab, Let my father and my mother, I pray thee, come forth, and be with you, till I know what God will do for me.
  4. And he brought them before the king of Moab: and they dwelt with him all the while that David was in the hold.
  5. And the prophet Gad said unto David, Abide not in the hold; depart, and get thee into the land of Judah. Then David departed, and came into the forest of Hareth.
  1. 大衛就離開那裡、逃到亞杜蘭洞。他的弟兄和他父親的全家聽見了、就都下到他那裡。
  2. 凡受窘迫的、欠債的、心裡苦惱的、都聚集到大衛那裡.大衛就作他們的頭目.跟隨他的約有四百人。
  3. 大衛從那裡往摩押的米斯巴去、對摩押王說、求你容我父母搬來、住在你們這裡、等我知道 神要為我怎樣行。
  4. 大衛領他父母到摩押王面前.大衛住山寨多少日子、他父母也住摩押王那裡多少日子。
  5. 先知迦得對大衛說、你不要住在山寨.要往猶大的去。大衛就離開那裡、進入哈列的樹林。
 
 
  1. When Saul heard that David was discovered, and the men that were with him, (now Saul abode in Gibeah under a tree in Ramah, having his spear in his hand, and all his servants were standing about him;)
  2. Then Saul said unto his servants that stood about him, Hear now, ye Benjamites; will the son of Jesse give every one of you fields and vineyards, and make you all captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds;
  3. That all of you have conspired against me, and there is none that sheweth me that my son hath made a league with the son of Jesse, and there is none of you that is sorry for me, or sheweth unto me that my son hath stirred up my servant against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?
  4. Then answered Doeg the Edomite, which was set over the servants of Saul, and said, I saw the son of Jesse coming to Nob, to Ahimelech the son of Ahitub.
  5. And he enquired of the LORD for him, and gave him victuals, and gave him the sword of Goliath the Philistine.
  1. 掃羅在基比亞的拉瑪、坐在垂絲柳樹下、手裡拿著槍、眾臣僕侍立在左右。掃羅聽見大衛和跟隨他的人在何處、
  2. 就對左右侍立的臣僕說、便雅憫人哪、你們要聽我的話.耶西的兒子能將田地和葡萄園賜給你們各人麼.能立你們各人作千夫長百夫長麼.
  3. 你們竟都結黨害我.我的兒子與耶西的兒子結盟的時候、無人告訴我.我的兒子挑唆我的臣子謀害我、就如今日的光景、也無人告訴我、為我憂慮。
  4. 那時以東人多益站在掃羅的臣僕中、對他說、我曾看見耶西的兒子到了挪伯亞希突的兒子亞希米勒那裡。
  5. 亞希米勒為他求問耶和華、又給他食物、並給他殺非利士人歌利亞的刀。
 
 
  1. Then the king sent to call Ahimelech the priest, the son of Ahitub, and all his father's house, the priests that were in Nob: and they came all of them to the king.
  2. And Saul said, Hear now, thou son of Ahitub. And he answered, Here I am, my lord.
  3. And Saul said unto him, Why have ye conspired against me, thou and the son of Jesse, in that thou hast given him bread, and a sword, and hast enquired of God for him, that he should rise against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?
  4. Then Ahimelech answered the king, and said, And who is so faithful among all thy servants as David, which is the king's son in law, and goeth at thy bidding, and is honourable in thine house?
  5. Did I then begin to enquire of God for him? be it far from me: let not the king impute any thing unto his servant, nor to all the house of my father: for thy servant knew nothing of all this, less or more.
  1. 王就打發人將祭司亞希突的兒子亞希米勒、和他父親的全家、就是住挪伯的祭司、都召了來.他們就來見王。
  2. 掃羅說、亞希突的兒子、要聽我的話。他回答說、主阿、我在這裡。
  3. 掃羅對他說、你為甚麼與耶西的兒子結黨害我、將食物和刀給他、又為他求問 神、使他起來謀害我、就如今日的光景。
  4. 亞希米勒回答王說、王的臣僕中、有誰比大衛忠心呢.他是王的女婿、又是王的參謀、並且在王家中是尊貴的。
  5. 我豈是從今日纔為他求問 神呢.斷不是這樣.王不要將罪歸我、和我父的全家.因為這事、無論大小、僕人都不知道。
 
 
  1. And the king said, Thou shalt surely die, Ahimelech, thou, and all thy father's house.
  2. And the king said unto the footmen that stood about him, Turn, and slay the priests of the LORD: because their hand also is with David, and because they knew when he fled, and did not shew it to me. But the servants of the king would not put forth their hand to fall upon the priests of the LORD.
  3. And the king said to Doeg, Turn thou, and fall upon the priests. And Doeg the Edomite turned, and he fell upon the priests, and slew on that day fourscore and five persons that did wear a linen ephod.
  4. And Nob, the city of the priests, smote he with the edge of the sword, both men and women, children and sucklings, and oxen, and asses, and sheep, with the edge of the sword.
  5. And one of the sons of Ahimelech the son of Ahitub, named Abiathar, escaped, and fled after David.
  1. 王說、亞希米勒阿、你和你父的全家、都是該死的。
  2. 王就吩咐左右的侍衛說、你們去殺耶和華的祭司.因為他們幫助大衛.又知道大衛逃跑、竟沒有告訴我。掃羅的臣子卻不肯伸手殺耶和華的祭司。
  3. 王吩咐多益說、你去殺祭司罷。以東人多益就去殺祭司、那日殺了穿細麻布以弗得的八十五人。
  4. 又用刀將祭司城挪伯中的男女、孩童、喫奶的、和牛、羊、驢、盡都殺滅。
  5. 亞希突的兒子亞希米勒有一個兒子、名叫亞比亞他、逃到大衛那裡。
 
 
  1. And Abiathar shewed David that Saul had slain the LORD's priests.
  2. And David said unto Abiathar, I knew it that day, when Doeg the Edomite was there, that he would surely tell Saul: I have occasioned the death of all the persons of thy father's house.
  3. Abide thou with me, fear not: for he that seeketh my life seeketh thy life: but with me thou shalt be in safeguard.
  1. 亞比亞他將掃羅殺耶和華祭司的事告訴大衛。
  2. 大衛對亞比亞他說、那日我見以東人多益在那裡、就知道他必告訴掃羅.你父的全家喪命、都是因我的緣故。
  3. 你可以住在我這裡、不要懼怕。因為尋索你命的、就是尋索我的命.你在我這裡、可得保全。
