  1. 西弗人到基比亞見掃羅、說、大衛不是在曠野前的哈基拉山藏著麼。
  2. 掃羅就起身、帶領以色列人中挑選的三千精兵、下到西弗的曠野、要在那裡尋索大衛。
  3. 掃羅在曠野前的哈基拉山、在道路上安營。大衛住在曠野、聽說掃羅到曠野來追尋他．
  4. 就打發人去探聽、便知道掃羅果然來到。
  5. 大衛起來、到掃羅安營的地方、看見掃羅和他的元帥尼珥的兒子押尼珥睡臥之處．掃羅睡在輜重營裡、百姓安營在他周圍。
  1. And the Ziphites came unto Saul to Gibeah, saying, Doth not David hide himself in the hill of Hachilah, which is before Jeshimon?
  2. Then Saul arose, and went down to the wilderness of Ziph, having three thousand chosen men of Israel with him, to seek David in the wilderness of Ziph.
  3. And Saul pitched in the hill of Hachilah, which is before Jeshimon, by the way. But David abode in the wilderness, and he saw that Saul came after him into the wilderness.
  4. David therefore sent out spies, and understood that Saul was come in very deed.
  5. And David arose, and came to the place where Saul had pitched: and David beheld the place where Saul lay, and Abner the son of Ner, the captain of his host: and Saul lay in the trench, and the people pitched round about him.
 
 
  1. 大衛對赫人亞希米勒、和洗魯雅的兒子約押的兄弟亞比篩說、誰同我下到掃羅營裡去．亞比篩說、我同你下去。
  2. 於是大衛和亞比篩夜間到了百姓那裡、見掃羅睡在輜重營裡、他的槍在頭旁、插在地上．押尼珥和百姓睡在他周圍。
  3. 亞比篩對大衛說、現在　神將你的仇敵交在你手裡．求你容我拿槍將他刺透在地．一刺就成、不用再刺。
  4. 大衛對亞比篩說、不可害死他．有誰伸手害耶和華的受膏者而無罪呢。
  5. 大衛又說、我指著永生的耶和華起誓、他或被耶和華擊打、或是死期到了、或是出戰陣亡。
  1. Then answered David and said to Ahimelech the Hittite, and to Abishai the son of Zeruiah, brother to Joab, saying, Who will go down with me to Saul to the camp? And Abishai said, I will go down with thee.
  2. So David and Abishai came to the people by night: and, behold, Saul lay sleeping within the trench, and his spear stuck in the ground at his bolster: but Abner and the people lay round about him.
  3. Then said Abishai to David, God hath delivered thine enemy into thine hand this day: now therefore let me smite him, I pray thee, with the spear even to the earth at once, and I will not smite him the second time.
  4. And David said to Abishai, Destroy him not: for who can stretch forth his hand against the LORD's anointed, and be guiltless?
  5. David said furthermore, As the LORD liveth, the LORD shall smite him; or his day shall come to die; or he shall descend into battle, and perish.
 
 
  1. 我在耶和華面前、萬不敢伸手害耶和華的受膏者．現在你可以將他頭旁的槍和水瓶拿來、我們就走。
  2. 大衛從掃羅的頭旁、拿了槍和水瓶．二人就走了、沒有人看見、沒有人知道、也沒有人醒起、都睡著了．因為耶和華使他們沉沉的睡了。
  3. 大衛過到那邊去、遠遠的站在山頂上、與他們相離甚遠。
  4. 大衛呼叫百姓、和尼珥的兒子押尼珥、說、押尼珥阿、你為何不答應呢．押尼珥說、你是誰、竟敢呼叫王呢。
  5. 大衛對押尼珥說、你不是個勇士麼．以色列中誰能比你呢．民中有人進來要害死王你的主、你為何沒有保護王你的主呢。
  1. The LORD forbid that I should stretch forth mine hand against the LORD's anointed: but, I pray thee, take thou now the spear that is at his bolster, and the cruse of water, and let us go.
  2. So David took the spear and the cruse of water from Saul's bolster; and they gat them away, and no man saw it, nor knew it, neither awaked: for they were all asleep; because a deep sleep from the LORD was fallen upon them.
  3. Then David went over to the other side, and stood on the top of an hill afar off; a great space being between them:
  4. And David cried to the people, and to Abner the son of Ner, saying, Answerest thou not, Abner? Then Abner answered and said, Who art thou that criest to the king?
  5. And David said to Abner, Art not thou a valiant man? and who is like to thee in Israel? wherefore then hast thou not kept thy lord the king? for there came one of the people in to destroy the king thy lord.
 
 
  1. 你這樣是不好的．我指著永生的耶和華起誓、你們都是該死的、因為沒有保護你們的主、就是耶和華的受膏者．現在你看看王頭旁的槍和水瓶在那裡。
  2. 掃羅聽出是大衛的聲音、就說、我兒大衛、這是你的聲音麼．大衛說、主我的王阿、是我的聲音。
  3. 又說、我作了甚麼．我手裡有甚麼惡事．我主竟追趕僕人呢。
  4. 求我主我王聽僕人的話．若是耶和華激發你攻擊我、願耶和華收納祭物．若是人激發你、願他在耶和華面前受咒詛．因為他現今趕逐我、不容我在耶和華的產業上有分、說、你去事奉別神罷。
  5. 現在求王不要使我的血流在離耶和華遠的地方．以色列王出來、是尋找一個虼蚤、如同人在山上獵取一個鷓鴣一般。
  1. This thing is not good that thou hast done. As the LORD liveth, ye are worthy to die, because ye have not kept your master, the LORD's anointed. And now see where the king's spear is, and the cruse of water that was at his bolster.
  2. And Saul knew David's voice, and said, Is this thy voice, my son David? And David said, It is my voice, my lord, O king.
  3. And he said, Wherefore doth my lord thus pursue after his servant? for what have I done? or what evil is in mine hand?
  4. Now therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If the LORD have stirred thee up against me, let him accept an offering: but if they be the children of men, cursed be they before the LORD; for they have driven me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of the LORD, saying, Go, serve other gods.
  5. Now therefore, let not my blood fall to the earth before the face of the LORD: for the king of Israel is come out to seek a flea, as when one doth hunt a partridge in the mountains.
 
 
  1. 掃羅說、我有罪了．我兒大衛、你可以回來．因你今日看我的性命為寶貴、我必不再加害於你．我是糊塗人、大大錯了。
  2. 大衛說、王的槍在這裡、可以吩咐一個僕人過來拿去。
  3. 今日耶和華將王交在我手裡、我卻不肯伸手害耶和華的受膏者．耶和華必照各人的公義誠實報應他。
  4. 我今日重看你的性命、願耶和華也重看我的性命、並且拯救我脫離一切患難。
  5. 掃羅對大衛說、我兒大衛、願你得福．你必作大事、也必得勝。於是大衛起行、掃羅回他的本處去了。
  1. Then said Saul, I have sinned: return, my son David: for I will no more do thee harm, because my soul was precious in thine eyes this day: behold, I have played the fool, and have erred exceedingly.
  2. And David answered and said, Behold the king's spear! and let one of the young men come over and fetch it.
  3. The LORD render to every man his righteousness and his faithfulness; for the LORD delivered thee into my hand to day, but I would not stretch forth mine hand against the LORD's anointed.
  4. And, behold, as thy life was much set by this day in mine eyes, so let my life be much set by in the eyes of the LORD, and let him deliver me out of all tribulation.
  5. Then Saul said to David, Blessed be thou, my son David: thou shalt both do great things, and also shalt still prevail. So David went on his way, and Saul returned to his place.
