  1. 大衛問說、掃羅家還有剩下的人沒有、我要因約拿單的緣故向他施恩。
  2. 掃羅家有一個僕人、名叫洗巴、有人叫他來見大衛、王問他說、你是洗巴麼、回答說、僕人是。
  3. 王說、掃羅家還有人沒有、我要照　神的慈愛恩待他．洗巴對王說、還有約拿單的一個兒子、是瘸腿的。
  4. 王說、他在那裡．洗巴對王說、他在羅底巴亞米利的兒子瑪吉家裡。
  5. 於是大衛王打發人去、從羅底巴亞米利的兒子瑪吉家裡召了他來。
  1. And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake?
  2. And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba. And when they had called him unto David, the king said unto him, Art thou Ziba? And he said, Thy servant is he.
  3. And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet.
  4. And the king said unto him, Where is he? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he is in the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, in Lodebar.
  5. Then king David sent, and fetched him out of the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, from Lodebar.
 
 
  1. 掃羅的孫子約拿單的兒子米非波設來見大衛、伏地叩拜．大衛說、米非波設．米非波設說、僕人在此。
  2. 大衛說、你不要懼怕、我必因你父親約拿單的緣故施恩與你、將你祖父掃羅的一切田地都歸還你、你也可以常與我同席喫飯。
  3. 米非波設又叩拜說、僕人算甚麼、不過如死狗一般、竟蒙王這樣眷顧。
  4. 王召了掃羅的僕人洗巴來、對他說、我已將屬掃羅和他的一切家產、都賜給你主人的兒子了。
  5. 你和你的眾子、僕人、要為你主人的兒子米非波設耕種田地、把所產的拿來供他食用．他卻要常與我同席喫飯。洗巴有十五個兒子、二十個僕人。
  1. Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, was come unto David, he fell on his face, and did reverence. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold thy servant!
  2. And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.
  3. And he bowed himself, and said, What is thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am?
  4. Then the king called to Ziba, Saul's servant, and said unto him, I have given unto thy master's son all that pertained to Saul and to all his house.
  5. Thou therefore, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall till the land for him, and thou shalt bring in the fruits, that thy master's son may have food to eat: but Mephibosheth thy master's son shall eat bread alway at my table. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.
 
 
  1. 洗巴對王說、凡我主我王吩咐僕人的、僕人都必遵行。王又說、米非波設必與我同席喫飯、如王的兒子一樣。
  2. 米非波設有一個小兒子名叫米迦。凡住在洗巴家裡的人、都作了米非波設的僕人。
  3. 於是米非波設住在耶路撒冷、常與王同席喫飯．他兩腿都是瘸的。
  1. Then said Ziba unto the king, According to all that my lord the king hath commanded his servant, so shall thy servant do. As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall eat at my table, as one of the king's sons.
  2. And Mephibosheth had a young son, whose name was Micha. And all that dwelt in the house of Ziba were servants unto Mephibosheth.
  3. So Mephibosheth dwelt in Jerusalem: for he did eat continually at the king's table; and was lame on both his feet.
