  1. Now it came about after this that Absalom provided for himself a chariot and horses and fifty men as runners before him.
  2. Absalom used to rise early and stand beside the way to the gate; and when any man had a suit to come to the king for judgment, Absalom would call to him and say, "From what city are you?" And he would say, "Your servant is from one of the tribes of Israel."
  3. Then Absalom would say to him, "See, your claims are good and right, but no man listens to you on the part of the king."
  4. Moreover, Absalom would say, "Oh that one would appoint me judge in the land, then every man who has any suit or cause could come to me and I would give him justice."
  5. And when a man came near to prostrate himself before him, he would put out his hand and take hold of him and kiss him.
  1. 此後、押沙龍為自己豫備車馬、又派五十人在他前頭奔走。
  2. 押沙龍常常早晨起來站在城門的道旁、凡有爭訟要去求王判斷的、押沙龍就叫他過來、問他說、你是那一城的人.回答說、僕人是以色列某支派的人。
  3. 押沙龍對他說、你的事有情有理.無奈王沒有委人聽你伸訴。
  4. 押沙龍又說、恨不得我作國中的士師.凡有爭訟求審判的、到我這裡來、我必秉公判斷。
  5. 若有人近前來要拜押沙龍、押沙龍就伸手拉住他、與他親嘴。
 
 
  1. In this manner Absalom dealt with all Israel who came to the king for judgment; so Absalom stole away the hearts of the men of Israel.
  2. Now it came about at the end of forty years that Absalom said to the king, "Please let me go and pay my vow which I have vowed to the LORD, in Hebron.
  3. "For your servant vowed a vow while I was living at Geshur in Aram, saying, 'If the LORD shall indeed bring me back to Jerusalem, then I will serve the LORD.'"
  4. The king said to him, "Go in peace." So he arose and went to Hebron.
  5. But Absalom sent spies throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, "As soon as you hear the sound of the trumpet, then you shall say, 'Absalom is king in Hebron.'"
  1. 以色列人中、凡去見王求判斷的、押沙龍都是如此待他們。這樣、押沙龍暗中得了以色列人的心。
  2. 滿了四十年、〔有作四年的〕、押沙龍對王說、求你准我往希伯崙去、還我向耶和華所許的願.
  3. 因為僕人住在亞蘭的基述、曾許願說、耶和華若使我再回耶路撒冷、我必事奉他。
  4. 王說、你平平安安的去罷。押沙龍就起身、往希伯崙去了。
  5. 押沙龍打發探子走遍以色列各支派、說、你們一聽見角聲、就說、押沙龍在希伯崙作王了。
 
 
  1. Then two hundred men went with Absalom from Jerusalem, who were invited and went innocently, and they did not know anything.
  2. And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David's counselor, from his city Giloh, while he was offering the sacrifices And the conspiracy was strong, for the people increased continually with Absalom.
  3. Then a messenger came to David, saying, "The hearts of the men of Israel are with Absalom."
  4. David said to all his servants who were with him at Jerusalem, "Arise and let us flee, for otherwise none of us will escape from Absalom. Go in haste, or he will overtake us quickly and bring down calamity on us and strike the city with the edge of the sword."
  5. Then the king's servants said to the king, "Behold, your servants are ready to do whatever my lord the king chooses."
  1. 押沙龍在耶路撒冷請了二百人與他同去、都是誠誠實實去的、並不知道其中的真情。
  2. 押沙龍獻祭的時候、打發人去將大衛的謀士、基羅人亞希多弗、從他本城請了來。於是叛逆的勢派甚大.因為隨從押沙龍的人民、日漸增多。
  3. 有人報告大衛說、以色列人的心、都歸向押沙龍了。
  4. 大衛就對耶路撒冷跟隨他的臣僕說、我們要起來逃走.不然都不能躲避押沙龍了.要速速的去、恐怕他忽然來到、加害於我們、用刀殺盡合城的人。
  5. 王的臣僕對王說、我主我王所定的、僕人都願遵行。
 
 
  1. So the king went out and all his household with him. But the king left ten concubines to keep the house.
  2. The king went out and all the people with him, and they stopped at the last house.
  3. Now all his servants passed on beside him, all the Cherethites, all the Pelethites and all the Gittites, six hundred men who had come with him from Gath, passed on before the king.
  4. Then the king said to Ittai the Gittite, "Why will you also go with us? Return and remain with the king, for you are a foreigner and also an exile; return to your own place.
  5. "You came only yesterday, and shall I today make you wander with us, while I go where I will? Return and take back your brothers; mercy and truth be with you."
  1. 於是王帶著全家的人出去了、但留下十個妃嬪、看守宮殿。
  2. 王出去、眾民都跟隨他、到伯墨哈、就住下了。
  3. 王的臣僕都在他面前過去.基利提人、比利提人、就是從迦特跟隨王來的六百人、也都在他面前過去。
  4. 王對迦特人以太說、你是外邦逃來的人.為甚麼與我們同去呢。你可以回去、與新王同住、或者回你本地去罷。
  5. 你來的日子不多、我今日怎好叫你與我們一同飄流、沒有一定的住處呢.你不如帶你的弟兄回去罷.願耶和華用慈愛誠實待你。
 
 
  1. But Ittai answered the king and said, "As the LORD lives, and as my lord the king lives, surely wherever my lord the king may be, whether for death or for life, there also your servant will be."
  2. Therefore David said to Ittai, "Go and pass over." So Ittai the Gittite passed over with all his men and all the little ones who were with him.
  3. While all the country was weeping with a loud voice, all the people passed over. The king also passed over the brook Kidron, and all the people passed over toward the way of the wilderness.
  4. Now behold, Zadok also came, and all the Levites with him carrying the ark of the covenant of God And they set down the ark of God, and Abiathar came up until all the people had finished passing from the city.
  5. The king said to Zadok, "Return the ark of God to the city. If I find favor in the sight of the LORD, then He will bring me back again and show me both it and His habitation.
  1. 以太對王說、我指著永生的耶和華起誓、又敢在王面前起誓、無論生死、王在那裡、僕人也必在那裡。
  2. 大衛對以太說、你前去過河罷。於是迦特人以太帶著跟隨他的人和所有的婦人孩子、就都過去了。
  3. 本地的人都放聲大哭、眾民盡都過去.王也過了汲淪溪、眾民往曠野去了。
  4. 撒督、和抬 神約櫃的利未人、也一同來了、將 神的約櫃放下.亞比亞他上來、等著眾民從城裡出來過去。
  5. 王對撒督說、你將 神的約櫃抬回城去.我若在耶和華眼前蒙恩、他必使我回來、再見約櫃、和他的居所。
 
 
  1. "But if He should say thus, 'I have no delight in you,' behold, here I am, let Him do to me as seems good to Him."
  2. The king said also to Zadok the priest, "Are you not a seer? Return to the city in peace and your two sons with you, your son Ahimaaz and Jonathan the son of Abiathar.
  3. "See, I am going to wait at the fords of the wilderness until word comes from you to inform me."
  4. Therefore Zadok and Abiathar returned the ark of God to Jerusalem and remained there.
  5. And David went up the ascent of the Mount of Olives, and wept as he went, and his head was covered and he walked barefoot. Then all the people who were with him each covered his head and went up weeping as they went.
  1. 倘若他說、我不喜悅你.看哪、我在這裡、願他憑自己的意旨待我。
  2. 王又對祭司撒督說、你不是先見麼.你可以安然回城.你兒子亞希瑪斯、和亞比亞他的兒子約拿單、都可以與你同去。
  3. 我在曠野的渡口那裡等你們報信給我。
  4. 於是撒督和亞比亞他將 神的約櫃抬回耶路撒冷.他們就住在那裡。
  5. 大衛蒙頭赤腳、上橄欖山、一面上、一面哭.跟隨他的人、也都蒙頭哭著上去。
 
 
  1. Now someone told David, saying, "Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom " And David said, "O LORD, I pray, make the counsel of Ahithophel foolishness."
  2. It happened as David was coming to the summit, where God was worshiped, that behold, Hushai the Archite met him with his coat torn and dust on his head.
  3. David said to him, "If you pass over with me, then you will be a burden to me.
  4. "But if you return to the city, and say to Absalom, 'I will be your servant, O king; as I have been your father's servant in time past, so I will now be your servant,' then you can thwart the counsel of Ahithophel for me.
  5. "Are not Zadok and Abiathar the priests with you there? So it shall be that whatever you hear from the king's house, you shall report to Zadok and Abiathar the priests.
  1. 有人告訴大衛說、亞希多弗也在叛黨之中、隨從押沙龍。大衛禱告說、耶和華阿、求你使亞希多弗的計謀、變為愚拙。
  2. 大衛到了山頂、敬拜 神的地方、見亞基人戶篩、衣服撕裂、頭蒙灰塵、來迎接他。
  3. 大衛對他說、你若與我同去、必累贅我。
  4. 你若回城去、對押沙龍說、王阿、我願作你的僕人.我向來作你父親的僕人、現在我也照樣作你的僕人.這樣、你就可以為我破壞亞希多弗的計謀。
  5. 祭司撒督和亞比亞他、豈不都在那裡麼.你在王宮裡聽見甚麼、就要告訴祭司撒督和亞比亞他。
 
 
  1. "Behold their two sons are with them there, Ahimaaz, Zadok's son and Jonathan, Abiathar's son; and by them you shall send me everything that you hear."
  2. So Hushai, David's friend, came into the city, and Absalom came into Jerusalem.
  1. 撒督的兒子亞希瑪斯、亞比亞他的兒子約拿單、也都在那裡.凡你們所聽見的、可以託這二人來報告我。
  2. 於是大衛的朋友戶篩進了城.押沙龍也進了耶路撒冷。
