  1. When Solomon had finished building the temple of the LORD and the royal palace, and had achieved all he had desired to do,
  2. the LORD appeared to him a second time, as he had appeared to him at Gibeon.
  3. The LORD said to him: "I have heard the prayer and plea you have made before me; I have consecrated this temple, which you have built, by putting my Name there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there.
  4. "As for you, if you walk before me in integrity of heart and uprightness, as David your father did, and do all I command and observe my decrees and laws,
  5. I will establish your royal throne over Israel forever, as I promised David your father when I said, 'You shall never fail to have a man on the throne of Israel.'
  1. 所羅門建造耶和華殿、和王宮、並一切所願意建造的、都完畢了、
  2. 耶和華就二次向所羅門顯現、如先前在基遍向他顯現一樣。
  3. 對他說、你向我所禱告祈求的、我都應允了．我已將你所建的這殿分別為聖、使我的名永遠在其中．我的眼、我的心、也必常在那裡。
  4. 你若效法你父大衛、存誠實正直的心行在我面前、遵行我一切所吩咐你的、謹守我的律例典章、
  5. 我就必堅固你的國位在以色列中、直到永遠、正如我應許你父大衛說、你的子孫必不斷人坐以色列的國位。
 
 
  1. "But if you or your sons turn away from me and do not observe the commands and decrees I have given you and go off to serve other gods and worship them,
  2. then I will cut off Israel from the land I have given them and will reject this temple I have consecrated for my Name. Israel will then become a byword and an object of ridicule among all peoples.
  3. And though this temple is now imposing, all who pass by will be appalled and will scoff and say, 'Why has the LORD done such a thing to this land and to this temple?'
  4. People will answer, 'Because they have forsaken the LORD their God, who brought their fathers out of Egypt, and have embraced other gods, worshiping and serving them--that is why the LORD brought all this disaster on them.' "
  5. At the end of twenty years, during which Solomon built these two buildings--the temple of the LORD and the royal palace-
  1. 倘若你們和你們的子孫轉去不跟從我、不守我指示你們的誡命律例、去事奉敬拜別神、
  2. 我就必將以色列人從我賜給他們的地上剪除．並且我為己名所分別為聖的殿、也必捨棄不顧．使以色列人在萬民中作笑談、被譏誚。
  3. 這殿雖然甚高、將來經過的人必驚訝、嗤笑、說、耶和華為何向這地和這殿如此行呢。
  4. 人必回答說、是因此地的人離棄領他們列祖出埃及地之耶和華他們的　神、去親近別神、事奉敬拜他．所以耶和華使這一切災禍臨到他們。
  5. 所羅門建造耶和華殿和王宮、這兩所、二十年纔完畢了．
 
 
  1. King Solomon gave twenty towns in Galilee to Hiram king of Tyre, because Hiram had supplied him with all the cedar and pine and gold he wanted.
  2. But when Hiram went from Tyre to see the towns that Solomon had given him, he was not pleased with them.
  3. "What kind of towns are these you have given me, my brother?" he asked. And he called them the Land of Cabul, a name they have to this day.
  4. Now Hiram had sent to the king 120 talents of gold.
  5. Here is the account of the forced labor King Solomon conscripted to build the LORD's temple, his own palace, the supporting terraces, the wall of Jerusalem, and Hazor, Megiddo and Gezer.
  1. （推羅王希蘭曾照所羅門所要的、資助他香柏木、松木、和金子）所羅門王就把加利利地的二十座城、給了希蘭。
  2. 希蘭從推羅出來、察看所羅門給他的城邑、就不喜悅、
  3. 說、我兄阿、你給我的是甚麼城邑呢．他就給這城邑之地起名叫迦步勒、直到今日。
  4. 希蘭給所羅門一百二十他連得金子。
  5. 所羅門王挑取服苦的人、是為建造耶和華的殿、自己的宮、米羅、耶路撒冷的城牆、夏瑣、米吉多、並基色。
 
 
  1. (Pharaoh king of Egypt had attacked and captured Gezer. He had set it on fire. He killed its Canaanite inhabitants and then gave it as a wedding gift to his daughter, Solomon's wife.
  2. And Solomon rebuilt Gezer.) He built up Lower Beth Horon,
  3. Baalath, and Tadmor in the desert, within his land,
  4. as well as all his store cities and the towns for his chariots and for his horses --whatever he desired to build in Jerusalem, in Lebanon and throughout all the territory he ruled.
  5. All the people left from the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites (these peoples were not Israelites),
  1. 先前埃及王法老上來攻取基色、用火焚燒．殺了城內居住的迦南人、將城賜給他女兒所羅門的妻作妝奩。
  2. 所羅門建造基色、下伯和崙、
  3. 巴拉、並國中曠野裡的達莫．
  4. 又建造所有的積貨城、並屯車和馬兵的城、與耶路撒冷、利巴嫩、以及自己治理的全國中所願建造的。
  5. 至於國中所剩下不屬以色列人的亞摩利人、赫人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人、
 
 
  1. that is, their descendants remaining in the land, whom the Israelites could not exterminate --these Solomon conscripted for his slave labor force, as it is to this day.
  2. But Solomon did not make slaves of any of the Israelites; they were his fighting men, his government officials, his officers, his captains, and the commanders of his chariots and charioteers.
  3. They were also the chief officials in charge of Solomon's projects--550 officials supervising the men who did the work.
  4. After Pharaoh's daughter had come up from the City of David to the palace Solomon had built for her, he constructed the supporting terraces.
  5. Three times a year Solomon sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings on the altar he had built for the LORD, burning incense before the LORD along with them, and so fulfilled the temple obligations.
  1. 就是以色列人不能滅盡的、所羅門挑取他們的後裔、作服苦的奴僕、直到今日。
  2. 惟有以色列人、所羅門不使他們作奴僕、乃是作他的戰士、臣僕、統領、軍長、車兵長、馬兵長。
  3. 所羅門有五百五十督工的、監管工人。
  4. 法老的女兒、從大衛城搬到所羅門為他建造的宮裡．那時所羅門纔建造米羅。
  5. 所羅門每年三次在他為耶和華所築的壇上獻燔祭、和平安祭、又在耶和華面前的壇上燒香。這樣、他建造殿的工程完畢了。
 
 
  1. King Solomon also built ships at Ezion Geber, which is near Elath in Edom, on the shore of the Red Sea.
  2. And Hiram sent his men--sailors who knew the sea--to serve in the fleet with Solomon's men.
  3. They sailed to Ophir and brought back 420 talents of gold, which they delivered to King Solomon.
  1. 所羅門王在以東地、紅海邊、靠近以祿的以旬迦別製造船隻。
  2. 希蘭差遣他的僕人、就是熟悉泛海的船家、與所羅門的僕人、一同坐船航海。
  3. 他們到了俄斐、從那裡得了四百二十他連得金子、運到所羅門王那裡。
