  1. 這事以後、又有一事、耶斯列人拿伯在耶斯列有一個葡萄園、靠近撒瑪利亞王亞哈的宮．
  2. 亞哈對拿伯說、你將你的葡萄園給我作菜園、因為是靠近我的宮、我就把更好的葡萄園換給你、或是你要銀子、我就按著價值給你．
  3. 拿伯對亞哈說、我敬畏耶和華、萬不敢將我先人留下的產業給你。
  4. 亞哈因耶斯列人拿伯說、我不敢將我先人留下的產業給你、就悶悶不樂的回宮、躺在床上、轉臉向內、也不喫飯。
  5. 王后耶洗別來問他說、你為甚麼心裡這樣憂悶、不喫飯呢．
  1. Now it came about after these things that Naboth the Jezreelite had a vineyard which was in Jezreel beside the palace of Ahab king of Samaria.
  2. Ahab spoke to Naboth, saying, "Give me your vineyard, that I may have it for a vegetable garden because it is close beside my house, and I will give you a better vineyard than it in its place; if you like, I will give you the price of it in money."
  3. But Naboth said to Ahab, "The LORD forbid me that I should give you the inheritance of my fathers."
  4. So Ahab came into his house sullen and vexed because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him; for he said, "I will not give you the inheritance of my fathers." And he lay down on his bed and turned away his face and ate no food.
  5. But Jezebel his wife came to him and said to him, "How is it that your spirit is so sullen that you are not eating food?"
 
 
  1. 他回答說、因我向耶斯列人拿伯說、你將你的葡萄園給我、我給你價銀、或是你願意、我就把別的葡萄園換給你、他卻說我不將我的葡萄園給你。
  2. 王后耶洗別對亞哈說、你現在是治理以色列國不是、只管起來、心裡暢暢快快的喫飯、我必將耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄園給你。
  3. 於是託亞哈的名寫信、用王的印印上、送給那些與拿伯同城居住的長老貴冑．
  4. 信上寫著說、你們當宣告禁食、叫拿伯坐在民間的高位上、
  5. 又叫兩個匪徒坐在拿伯對面、作見證告他說、你謗瀆　神和王了．隨後就把他拉出去用石頭打死。
  1. So he said to her, "Because I spoke to Naboth the Jezreelite and said to him, 'Give me your vineyard for money; or else, if it pleases you, I will give you a vineyard in its place.' But he said, 'I will not give you my vineyard.'"
  2. Jezebel his wife said to him, "Do you now reign over Israel? Arise, eat bread, and let your heart be joyful; I will give you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite."
  3. So she wrote letters in Ahab's name and sealed them with his seal, and sent letters to the elders and to the nobles who were living with Naboth in his city.
  4. Now she wrote in the letters, saying, "Proclaim a fast and seat Naboth at the head of the people;
  5. and seat two worthless men before him, and let them testify against him, saying, 'You cursed God and the king ' Then take him out and stone him to death."
 
 
  1. 那些與拿伯同城居住的長老貴冑得了耶洗別的信、就照信而行．
  2. 宣告禁食、叫拿伯坐在民間的高位上．
  3. 有兩個匪徒來、坐在拿伯的對面、當著眾民作見證告他說、拿伯謗瀆　神和王了。眾人就把他拉到城外、用石頭打死。
  4. 於是打發人去見耶洗別說、拿伯被石頭打死了。
  5. 耶洗別聽見拿伯被石頭打死、就對亞哈說、你起來得耶斯列人拿伯不肯為價銀給你的葡萄園罷．現在他已經死了。
  1. So the men of his city, the elders and the nobles who lived in his city, did as Jezebel had sent word to them, just as it was written in the letters which she had sent them.
  2. They proclaimed a fast and seated Naboth at the head of the people.
  3. Then the two worthless men came in and sat before him; and the worthless men testified against him, even against Naboth, before the people, saying, "Naboth cursed God and the king." So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death with stones.
  4. Then they sent word to Jezebel, saying, "Naboth has been stoned and is dead."
  5. When Jezebel heard that Naboth had been stoned and was dead, Jezebel said to Ahab, "Arise, take possession of the vineyard of Naboth, the Jezreelite, which he refused to give you for money; for Naboth is not alive, but dead."
 
 
  1. 亞哈聽見拿伯死了、就起來下去、要得耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄園。
  2. 耶和華的話臨到提斯比人以利亞說、
  3. 你起來、去見住撒瑪利亞的以色列王亞哈．他下去要得拿伯的葡萄園．現今正在那園裡。
  4. 你要對他說、耶和華如此說、你殺了人、又得他的產業麼．又要對他說、耶和華如此說、狗在何處餂拿伯的血、也必在何處餂你的血。
  5. 亞哈對以利亞說、我仇敵阿、你找到我麼．他回答說、我找到你了、因為你賣了自己、行耶和華眼中看為惡的事．
  1. When Ahab heard that Naboth was dead, Ahab arose to go down to the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, to take possession of it.
  2. Then the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying,
  3. "Arise, go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, who is in Samaria; behold, he is in the vineyard of Naboth where he has gone down to take possession of it.
  4. "You shall speak to him, saying, 'Thus says the LORD, "Have you murdered and also taken possession?"' And you shall speak to him, saying, 'Thus says the LORD, "In the place where the dogs licked up the blood of Naboth the dogs will lick up your blood, even yours."'"
  5. Ahab said to Elijah, "Have you found me, O my enemy?" And he answered, "I have found you, because you have sold yourself to do evil in the sight of the LORD.
 
 
  1. 耶和華說、我必使災禍臨到你、將你除盡、凡屬你的男丁、無論困住的、自由的、都從以色列中剪除．
  2. 我必使你的家像尼八的兒子耶羅波安的家、又像亞希雅的兒子巴沙的家、因為你惹我發怒、又使以色列人陷在罪裡。
  3. 論到耶洗別、耶和華也說、狗在耶斯列的外郭、必喫耶洗別的肉。
  4. 凡屬亞哈的人、死在城中的、必被狗喫、死在田野的、必被空中的鳥喫。
  5. （從來沒有像亞哈的、因他自賣、行耶和華眼中看為惡的事、受了王后耶洗別的聳動．
  1. "Behold, I will bring evil upon you, and will utterly sweep you away, and will cut off from Ahab every male, both bond and free in Israel;
  2. and I will make your house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah, because of the provocation with which you have provoked Me to anger, and because you have made Israel sin.
  3. "Of Jezebel also has the LORD spoken, saying, 'The dogs will eat Jezebel in the district of Jezreel.'
  4. "The one belonging to Ahab, who dies in the city, the dogs will eat, and the one who dies in the field the birds of heaven will eat."
  5. Surely there was no one like Ahab who sold himself to do evil in the sight of the LORD, because Jezebel his wife incited him.
 
 
  1. 就照耶和華在以色列人面前所趕出的亞摩利人、行了最可憎惡的事、信從偶像。）
  2. 亞哈聽見這話、就撕裂衣服、禁食、身穿麻布、睡臥也穿著麻布、並且緩緩而行。
  3. 耶和華的話臨到提斯比人以利亞說、
  4. 亞哈在我面前這樣自卑、你看見了麼．因他在我面前自卑、他還在世的時候、我不降這禍、到他兒子的時候、我必降這禍與他的家。
  1. He acted very abominably in following idols, according to all that the Amorites had done, whom the LORD cast out before the sons of Israel.
  2. It came about when Ahab heard these words, that he tore his clothes and put on sackcloth and fasted, and he lay in sackcloth and went about despondently.
  3. Then the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying,
  4. "Do you see how Ahab has humbled himself before Me? Because he has humbled himself before Me, I will not bring the evil in his days, but I will bring the evil upon his house in his son's days."
