  1. 有一個先知門徒的妻、哀求以利沙說、你僕人我丈夫死了.他敬畏耶和華是你所知道的.現在有債主來、要取我兩個兒子作奴僕。
  2. 以利沙問他說、我可以為你作甚麼呢、你告訴我.你家裡有甚麼、他說、婢女家中、除了一瓶油之外、沒有甚麼。
  3. 以利沙說、你去、向你眾鄰舍借空器皿.不要少借、
  4. 回到家裡、關上門、你和你兒子在裡面、將油倒在所有的器皿裡、倒滿了的放在一邊。
  5. 於是婦人離開以利沙去了、關上門、自己和兒子在裡面.兒子把器皿拿來、他就倒油.
  1. Now a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, "Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the LORD; and the creditor has come to take my two children to be his slaves."
  2. Elisha said to her, "What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?" And she said, "Your maidservant has nothing in the house except a jar of oil."
  3. Then he said, "Go, borrow vessels at large for yourself from all your neighbors, even empty vessels; do not get a few.
  4. "And you shall go in and shut the door behind you and your sons, and pour out into all these vessels, and you shall set aside what is full."
  5. So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons; they were bringing the vessels to her and she poured.
 
 
  1. 器皿都滿了、他對兒子說、再給我拿器皿來。兒子說、再沒有器皿了、油就止住了。
  2. 婦人去告訴神人.神人說、你去賣油還債、所剩的、你和你兒子可以靠著度日。
  3. 一日以利沙走到書念.在那裡有一個大戶的婦人、強留他喫飯。此後、以利沙每從那裡經過、就進去喫飯。
  4. 婦人對丈夫說、我看出那常從我們這裡經過的、是聖潔的神人。
  5. 我們可以為他在牆上蓋一間小樓.在其中安放床榻、桌子、椅子、燈臺.他來到我們這裡、就可以住在其間。
  1. When the vessels were full, she said to her son, "Bring me another vessel." And he said to her, "There is not one vessel more." And the oil stopped.
  2. Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, "Go, sell the oil and pay your debt, and you and your sons can live on the rest."
  3. Now there came a day when Elisha passed over to Shunem, where there was a prominent woman, and she persuaded him to eat food. And so it was, as often as he passed by, he turned in there to eat food.
  4. She said to her husband, "Behold now, I perceive that this is a holy man of God passing by us continually.
  5. "Please, let us make a little walled upper chamber and let us set a bed for him there, and a table and a chair and a lampstand; and it shall be, when he comes to us, that he can turn in there."
 
 
  1. 一日、以利沙來到那裡、就進了那樓躺臥。
  2. 以利沙吩咐僕人基哈西說、你叫這書念婦人來.他就把婦人叫了來、婦人站在以利沙面前。
  3. 以利沙吩咐僕人說、你對他說、你既為我們費了許多心思、可以為你作甚麼呢.你向王、或元帥、有所求的沒有.他回答說、我在我本鄉安居無事。
  4. 以利沙對僕人說、究竟當為他作甚麼呢。基哈西說、他沒有兒子、他丈夫也老了。
  5. 以利沙說、再叫他來.於是叫了他來、他就站在門口。
  1. One day he came there and turned in to the upper chamber and rested.
  2. Then he said to Gehazi his servant, "Call this Shunammite." And when he had called her, she stood before him.
  3. He said to him, "Say now to her, 'Behold, you have been careful for us with all this care; what can I do for you? Would you be spoken for to the king or to the captain of the army?'" And she answered, "I live among my own people."
  4. So he said, "What then is to be done for her?" And Gehazi answered, "Truly she has no son and her husband is old."
  5. He said, "Call her." When he had called her, she stood in the doorway.
 
 
  1. 以利沙說、明年到這時候、你必抱一個兒子。他說、神人、我主阿、不要那樣欺哄婢女。
  2. 婦人果然懷孕、到了那時候、生了一個兒子、正如以利沙所說的。
  3. 孩子漸漸長大、一日到他父親和收割的人那裡。
  4. 他對父親說、我的頭阿、我的頭阿。他父親對僕人說、把他抱到他母親那裡。
  5. 僕人抱去、交給他母親、孩子坐在母親的膝上、到晌午就死了。
  1. Then he said, "At this season next year you will embrace a son " And she said, "No, my lord, O man of God, do not lie to your maidservant."
  2. The woman conceived and bore a son at that season the next year, as Elisha had said to her.
  3. When the child was grown, the day came that he went out to his father to the reapers.
  4. He said to his father, "My head, my head." And he said to his servant, "Carry him to his mother."
  5. When he had taken him and brought him to his mother, he sat on her lap until noon, and then died.
 
 
  1. 他母親抱他上了樓、將他放在神人的床上、關上門出來、
  2. 呼叫他丈夫說、你叫一個僕人給我牽一匹驢來.我要快快的去見神人、就回來。
  3. 丈夫說、今日不是月朔、也不是安息日.你為何要去見他呢。婦人說、平安無事。
  4. 於是備上驢、對僕人說、你快快趕著走.我若不吩咐你、就不要遲慢。
  5. 婦人就往迦密山去見神人。神人遠遠的看見他、對僕人基哈西說、看哪、書念的婦人來了.
  1. She went up and laid him on the bed of the man of God, and shut the door behind him and went out.
  2. Then she called to her husband and said, "Please send me one of the servants and one of the donkeys, that I may run to the man of God and return."
  3. He said, "Why will you go to him today? It is neither new moon nor sabbath." And she said, "It will be well."
  4. Then she saddled a donkey and said to her servant, "Drive and go forward; do not slow down the pace for me unless I tell you."
  5. So she went and came to the man of God to Mount Carmel. When the man of God saw her at a distance, he said to Gehazi his servant, "Behold, there is the Shunammite.
 
 
  1. 你跑去迎接他、問他說、你平安麼.你丈夫平安麼.孩子平安麼.他說、平安。
  2. 婦人上了山、到神人那裡、就抱住神人的腳。基哈西前來要推開他、神人說、由他罷、因為他心裡愁苦.耶和華向我隱瞞、沒有指示我。
  3. 婦人說、我何嘗向我主求過兒子呢。我豈沒有說過、不要欺哄我麼。
  4. 以利沙吩咐基哈西說、你束上腰、手拿我的杖前去.若遇見人、不要向他問安.人若向你問安、也不要回答.要把我的杖放在孩子臉上。
  5. 孩子的母親說、我指著永生的耶和華、又敢在你面前起誓、我必不離開你。於是以利沙起身、隨著他去了。
  1. "Please run now to meet her and say to her, 'Is it well with you? Is it well with your husband? Is it well with the child?'" And she answered, "It is well."
  2. When she came to the man of God to the hill, she caught hold of his feet. And Gehazi came near to push her away; but the man of God said, "Let her alone, for her soul is troubled within her; and the LORD has hidden it from me and has not told me."
  3. Then she said, "Did I ask for a son from my lord? Did I not say, 'Do not deceive me'?"
  4. Then he said to Gehazi, "Gird up your loins and take my staff in your hand, and go your way; if you meet any man, do not salute him, and if anyone salutes you, do not answer him; and lay my staff on the lad's face."
  5. The mother of the lad said, "As the LORD lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you." And he arose and followed her.
 
 
  1. 基哈西先去、把杖放在孩子臉上、卻沒有聲音、也沒有動靜.基哈西就迎著以利沙回來、告訴他說、孩子還沒有醒過來。
  2. 以利沙來到、進了屋子、看見孩子死了、放在自己的床上。
  3. 他就關上門、只有自己和孩子在裡面、他便祈禱耶和華.
  4. 上床伏在孩子身上、口對口、眼對眼、手對手.既伏在孩子身上、孩子的身體就漸漸溫和了。
  5. 然後他下來、在屋裡來往走了一趟.又上去伏在孩子身上.孩子打了七個噴嚏、就睜開眼睛了。
  1. Then Gehazi passed on before them and laid the staff on the lad's face, but there was no sound or response. So he returned to meet him and told him, "The lad has not awakened."
  2. When Elisha came into the house, behold the lad was dead and laid on his bed.
  3. So he entered and shut the door behind them both and prayed to the LORD.
  4. And he went up and lay on the child, and put his mouth on his mouth and his eyes on his eyes and his hands on his hands, and he stretched himself on him; and the flesh of the child became warm.
  5. Then he returned and walked in the house once back and forth, and went up and stretched himself on him; and the lad sneezed seven times and the lad opened his eyes.
 
 
  1. 以利沙叫基哈西說、你叫這書念婦人來。於是叫了他來。以利沙說、將你兒子抱起來。
  2. 婦人就進來、在以利沙腳前俯伏於地、抱起他兒子出去了。
  3. 以利沙又來到吉甲.那地正有饑荒.先知門徒坐在他面前.他吩咐僕人說、你將大鍋放在火上、給先知門徒熬湯。
  4. 有一個人去到田野掐菜、遇見一棵野瓜籐、就摘了一兜野瓜、回來切了、擱在熬湯的鍋中.因為他們不知道是甚麼東西.
  5. 倒出來給眾人喫、喫的時候、都喊叫說、神人哪、鍋中有致死的毒物。所以眾人不能喫了。
  1. He called Gehazi and said, "Call this Shunammite." So he called her. And when she came in to him, he said, "Take up your son."
  2. Then she went in and fell at his feet and bowed herself to the ground, and she took up her son and went out.
  3. When Elisha returned to Gilgal, there was a famine in the land As the sons of the prophets were sitting before him, he said to his servant, "Put on the large pot and boil stew for the sons of the prophets."
  4. Then one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine and gathered from it his lap full of wild gourds, and came and sliced them into the pot of stew, for they did not know what they were.
  5. So they poured it out for the men to eat. And as they were eating of the stew, they cried out and said, "O man of God, there is death in the pot." And they were unable to eat.
 
 
  1. 以利沙說、拿點麵來、就把麵撒在鍋中、說、倒出來、給眾人喫罷.鍋中就沒有毒了。
  2. 有一個人從巴力沙利沙來、帶著初熟大麥作的餅二十個、並新穗子、裝在口袋裡、送給神人.神人說、把這些給眾人喫。
  3. 僕人說、這一點豈可擺給一百人喫呢。以利沙說、你只管給眾人喫罷.因為耶和華如此說、眾人必喫了、還剩下。
  4. 僕人就擺在眾人面前、他們喫了、果然還剩下、正如耶和華所說的。
  1. But he said, "Now bring meal." He threw it into the pot and said, "Pour it out for the people that they may eat." Then there was no harm in the pot.
  2. Now a man came from Baal-shalishah, and brought the man of God bread of the first fruits, twenty loaves of barley and fresh ears of grain in his sack. And he said, "Give them to the people that they may eat."
  3. His attendant said, "What, will I set this before a hundred men?" But he said, "Give them to the people that they may eat, for thus says the LORD, 'They shall eat and have some left over.'"
  4. So he set it before them, and they ate and had some left over, according to the word of the LORD.
