  1. Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the LORD hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years.
  2. And the woman arose, and did after the saying of the man of God: and she went with her household, and sojourned in the land of the Philistines seven years.
  3. And it came to pass at the seven years' end, that the woman returned out of the land of the Philistines: and she went forth to cry unto the king for her house and for her land.
  4. And the king talked with Gehazi the servant of the man of God, saying, Tell me, I pray thee, all the great things that Elisha hath done.
  5. And it came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had restored a dead body to life, that, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land. And Gehazi said, My lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life.
  1. 以利沙曾對所救活之子的那婦人說、你和你的全家、要起身往你可住的地方去住．因為耶和華命饑荒降在這地七年。
  2. 婦人就起身、照神人的話、帶著全家往非利士地去、住了七年。
  3. 七年完了、那婦人從非利士地回來．就出去為自己的房屋田地哀告王。
  4. 那時王正與神人的僕人基哈西說、請你將以利沙所行的一切大事告訴我。
  5. 基哈西告訴王以利沙如何使死人復活、恰巧以利沙所救活他兒子的那婦人、為自己的房屋田地來哀告王。基哈西說、我主我王、這就是那婦人、這是他的兒子、就是以利沙所救活的。
 
 
  1. And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now.
  2. And Elisha came to Damascus; and Benhadad the king of Syria was sick; and it was told him, saying, The man of God is come hither.
  3. And the king said unto Hazael, Take a present in thine hand, and go, meet the man of God, and enquire of the LORD by him, saying, Shall I recover of this disease?
  4. So Hazael went to meet him, and took a present with him, even of every good thing of Damascus, forty camels' burden, and came and stood before him, and said, Thy son Benhadad king of Syria hath sent me to thee, saying, Shall I recover of this disease?
  5. And Elisha said unto him, Go, say unto him, Thou mayest certainly recover: howbeit the LORD hath shewed me that he shall surely die.
  1. 王問那婦人、他就把那事告訴王。於是王為他派一個太監、說、凡屬這婦人的、都還給他、自從他離開本地、直到今日、他田地的出產、也都還給他。
  2. 以利沙來到大馬色．亞蘭王便哈達正患病．有人告訴王說、神人來到這裡了。
  3. 王就吩咐哈薛說、你帶著禮物去見神人、託他求問耶和華、我這病能好不能好。
  4. 於是哈薛用四十個駱駝、馱著大馬色的各樣美物為禮物、去見以利沙．到了他那裡、站在他面前、說、你兒子亞蘭王便哈達、打發我來見你．他問說、我這病能好不能好。
  5. 以利沙對哈薛說、你回去告訴他說、這病必能好．但耶和華指示我他必要死。
 
 
  1. And he settled his countenance stedfastly, until he was ashamed: and the man of God wept.
  2. And Hazael said, Why weepeth my lord? And he answered, Because I know the evil that thou wilt do unto the children of Israel: their strong holds wilt thou set on fire, and their young men wilt thou slay with the sword, and wilt dash their children, and rip up their women with child.
  3. And Hazael said, But what, is thy servant a dog, that he should do this great thing? And Elisha answered, The LORD hath shewed me that thou shalt be king over Syria.
  4. So he departed from Elisha, and came to his master; who said to him, What said Elisha to thee? And he answered, He told me that thou shouldest surely recover.
  5. And it came to pass on the morrow, that he took a thick cloth, and dipped it in water, and spread it on his face, so that he died: and Hazael reigned in his stead.
  1. 神人定睛看著哈薛、甚致他慚愧．神人就哭了。
  2. 哈薛說、我主為甚麼哭．回答說、因為我知道你必苦害以色列人．用火焚燒他們的保障、用刀殺死他們的壯丁、摔死他們的嬰孩、剖開他們的孕婦。
  3. 哈薛說、你僕人算甚麼、不過是一條狗．焉能行這大事呢。以利沙回答說、耶和華指示我、你必作亞蘭王。
  4. 哈薛離開以利沙、回去見他的主人．主人問他說、以利沙對你說甚麼．回答說、他告訴我你必能好。
  5. 次日哈薛拿被窩、浸在水中、蒙住王的臉、王就死了．於是哈薛篡了他的位。
 
 
  1. And in the fifth year of Joram the son of Ahab king of Israel, Jehoshaphat being then king of Judah, Jehoram the son of Je hoshaphat king of Judah began to reign.
  2. Thirty and two years old was he when he began to reign; and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem.
  3. And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, as did the house of Ahab: for the daughter of Ahab was his wife: and he did evil in the sight of the LORD.
  4. Yet the LORD would not destroy Judah for David his servant's sake, as he promised him to give him alway a light, and to his children.
  5. In his days Edom revolted from under the hand of Judah, and made a king over themselves.
  1. 以色列王亞哈的兒子約蘭第五年、猶大王約沙法還在位的時候、約沙法的兒子約蘭登基、作了猶大王。
  2. 約蘭登基的時候、年三十二歲．在耶路撒冷作王八年。
  3. 他行以色列諸王所行的、與亞哈家一樣．因為他娶了亞哈的女兒為妻、行耶和華眼中看為惡的事。
  4. 耶和華卻因他僕人大衛的緣故、仍不肯滅絕猶大、照他所應許大衛的話、永遠賜燈光與他的子孫。
  5. 約蘭年間、以東人背叛猶大、脫離他的權下、自己立王。
 
 
  1. So Joram went over to Zair, and all the chariots with him: and he rose by night, and smote the Edomites which compassed him about, and the captains of the chariots: and the people fled into their tents.
  2. Yet Edom revolted from under the hand of Judah unto this day. Then Libnah revolted at the same time.
  3. And the rest of the acts of Joram, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
  4. And Joram slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David: and Ahaziah his son reigned in his stead.
  5. In the twelfth year of Joram the son of Ahab king of Israel did Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah begin to reign.
  1. 約蘭率領所有的戰車、往撒益去．夜間起來、攻打圍困他的以東人和車兵長．猶大兵就逃跑、各回各家去了。
  2. 這樣、以東人背叛猶大、脫離他的權下、直到今日。那時立拿人也背叛了。
  3. 約蘭其餘的事、凡他所行的都寫在猶大列王記上。
  4. 約蘭與他列祖同睡、葬在大衛城、他列祖的墳地裡．他兒子亞哈謝接續他作王。
  5. 以色列王亞哈的兒子約蘭十二年、猶大王約蘭的兒子亞哈謝登基。
 
 
  1. Two and twenty years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign; and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Athaliah, the daughter of Omri king of Israel.
  2. And he walked in the way of the house of Ahab, and did evil in the sight of the LORD, as did the house of Ahab: for he was the son in law of the house of Ahab.
  3. And he went with Joram the son of Ahab to the war against Hazael king of Syria in Ramothgilead; and the Syrians wounded Joram.
  4. And king Joram went back to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him at Ramah, when he fought against Hazael king of Syria. And Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Joram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was sick.
  1. 他登基的時候、年二十二歲、在耶路撒冷作王一年．他母親名叫亞他利雅、是以色列王暗利的孫女。
  2. 亞哈謝效法亞哈家行耶和華眼中看為惡的事、與亞哈家一樣．因為他是亞哈家的女婿。
  3. 他與亞哈的兒子約蘭、同往基列的拉末去、與亞蘭王哈薛爭戰．亞蘭人打傷了約蘭。
  4. 約蘭王回到耶斯列、醫治在拉末與亞蘭王哈薛打仗的時候所受的傷。猶大王約蘭的兒子亞哈謝、因為亞哈的兒子約蘭病了、就下到耶斯列望看他。
