  1. 大衛吩咐聚集住以色列地的外邦人、從其中派石匠鑿石頭、要建造　神的殿。
  2. 大衛豫備許多鐵、作門上的釘子和鉤子．又豫備許多銅、多得無法可稱．
  3. 又豫備無數的香柏木．因為西頓人和推羅人、給大衛運了許多香柏木來。
  4. 大衛說、我兒子所羅門、還年幼嬌嫩、要為耶和華建造的殿宇、必須高大輝煌、使名譽榮耀、傳遍萬國．所以我要為殿豫備材料。於是大衛在未死之先豫備的材料甚多。
  5. 大衛召了他兒子所羅門來、囑咐他給耶和華以色列的　神建造殿宇．
  1. Then David said, "This is the house of the LORD God, and this is the altar of burnt offering for Israel."
  2. So David gave orders to gather the foreigners who were in the land of Israel, and he set stonecutters to hew out stones to build the house of God.
  3. David prepared large quantities of iron to make the nails for the doors of the gates and for the clamps, and more bronze than could be weighed;
  4. and timbers of cedar logs beyond number, for the Sidonians and Tyrians brought large quantities of cedar timber to David.
  5. David said, "My son Solomon is young and inexperienced, and the house that is to be built for the LORD shall be exceedingly magnificent, famous and glorious throughout all lands. Therefore now I will make preparation for it." So David made ample preparations before his death.
 
 
  1. 對所羅門說、我兒阿、我心裡本想為耶和華我　神的名建造殿宇。
  2. 只是耶和華的話臨到我、說、你流了多人的血、打了多次大仗．你不可為我的名建造殿宇、因為你在我眼前使多人的血流在地上。
  3. 你要生一個兒子．他必作太平的人．我必使他安靜、不被四圍的仇敵擾亂．他的名要叫所羅門．〔即太平之意〕他在位的日子、我必使以色列人平安康泰。
  4. 他必為我的名建造殿宇．他要作我的子、我要作他的父．他作以色列王、我必堅定他的國位、直到永遠。
  5. 我兒阿、現今願耶和華與你同在、使你亨通、照他指著你說的話、建造耶和華你　神的殿。
  1. Then he called for his son Solomon, and charged him to build a house for the LORD God of Israel.
  2. David said to Solomon, "My son, I had intended to build a house to the name of the LORD my God.
  3. "But the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 'You have shed much blood and have waged great wars; you shall not build a house to My name, because you have shed so much blood on the earth before Me.
  4. 'Behold, a son will be born to you, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies on every side; for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quiet to Israel in his days.
  5. 'He shall build a house for My name, and he shall be My son and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.'
 
 
  1. 但願耶和華賜你聰明智慧、好治理以色列國、遵行耶和華你　神的律法。
  2. 你若謹守遵行耶和華藉摩西吩咐以色列的律例典章、就得亨通．你當剛強壯膽、不要懼怕、也不要驚惶。
  3. 我在困難之中為耶和華的殿豫備了金子十萬他連得、銀子一百萬他連得、銅和鐵、多得無法可稱．我也豫備了木頭、石頭、你還可以增添。
  4. 你有許多匠人、就是石匠、木匠、和一切能作各樣工的巧匠．
  5. 並有無數的金、銀、銅、鐵。你當起來辦事．願耶和華與你同在。
  1. "Now, my son, the LORD be with you that you may be successful, and build the house of the LORD your God just as He has spoken concerning you.
  2. "Only the LORD give you discretion and understanding, and give you charge over Israel, so that you may keep the law of the LORD your God.
  3. "Then you will prosper, if you are careful to observe the statutes and the ordinances which the LORD commanded Moses concerning Israel Be strong and courageous, do not fear nor be dismayed.
  4. "Now behold, with great pains I have prepared for the house of the LORD 100,000 talents of gold and 1,000,000 talents of silver, and bronze and iron beyond weight, for they are in great quantity; also timber and stone I have prepared, and you may add to them.
  5. "Moreover, there are many workmen with you, stonecutters and masons of stone and carpenters, and all men who are skillful in every kind of work.
 
 
  1. 大衛又吩咐以色列的眾首領幫助他兒子所羅門、說、
  2. 耶和華你們的　神不是與你們同在麼．不是叫你們四圍都平安麼．因他已將這地的居民交在我手中．這地就在耶和華與他百姓面前制伏了。
  3. 現在你們應當立定心意、尋求耶和華你們的　神．也當起來建造耶和華　神的聖所、好將耶和華的約櫃、和供奉　神的聖器皿、都搬進為耶和華名建造的殿裡。
  1. "Of the gold, the silver and the bronze and the iron there is no limit. Arise and work, and may the LORD be with you."
  2. David also commanded all the leaders of Israel to help his son Solomon, saying,
  3. "Is not the LORD your God with you? And has He not given you rest on every side? For He has given the inhabitants of the land into my hand, and the land is subdued before the LORD and before His people.
  4. "Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God; arise, therefore, and build the sanctuary of the LORD God, so that you may bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD and the holy vessels of God into the house that is to be built for the name of the LORD."
