  1. Now Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David. And Jehoram his son reigned in his stead.
  2. And he had brethren the sons of Jehoshaphat, Azariah, and Jehiel, and Zechariah, and Azariah, and Michael, and Shephatiah: all these were the sons of Jehoshaphat king of Israel.
  3. And their father gave them great gifts of silver, and of gold, and of precious things, with fenced cities in Judah: but the kingdom gave he to Jehoram; because he was the firstborn.
  4. Now when Jehoram was risen up to the kingdom of his father, he strengthened himself, and slew all his brethren with the sword, and divers also of the princes of Israel.
  5. Jehoram was thirty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem.
  1. 約沙法與他列祖同睡、葬在大衛城、他列祖的墳地裡．他兒子約蘭接續他作王。
  2. 約蘭有幾個兄弟、就是約沙法的兒子亞撒利雅、耶歇、撒迦利雅、亞撒利雅、米迦勒、示法提雅．這都是以色列王約沙法的兒子。
  3. 他們的父親將許多金銀、財寶、和猶大地的堅固城、賜給他們．但將國賜給約蘭、因為他是長子。
  4. 約蘭興起坐他父的位、奮勇自強、就用刀殺了他的眾兄弟、和以色列的幾個首領。
  5. 約蘭登基的時候年三十二歲．在耶路撒冷作王八年。
 
 
  1. And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, like as did the house of Ahab: for he had the daughter of Ahab to wife: and he wrought that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD.
  2. Howbeit the LORD would not destroy the house of David, because of the covenant that he had made with David, and as he promised to give a light to him and to his sons for ever.
  3. In his days the Edomites revolted from under the dominion of Judah, and made themselves a king.
  4. Then Jehoram went forth with his princes, and all his chariots with him: and he rose up by night, and smote the Edomites which compassed him in, and the captains of the chariots.
  5. So the Edomites revolted from under the hand of Judah unto this day. The same time also did Libnah revolt from under his hand; because he had forsaken the LORD God of his fathers.
  1. 他行以色列諸王的道、與亞哈家一樣．因他娶了亞哈的女兒為妻、行耶和華眼中看為惡的事。
  2. 耶和華卻因自己與大衛所立的約、不肯滅大衛的家、照他所應許的、永遠賜燈光與大衛和他的子孫。
  3. 約蘭年間以東人背叛猶大、脫離他的權下、自己立王。
  4. 約蘭就率領軍長、和所有的戰車、夜間起來、攻擊圍困他的以東人、和車兵長。
  5. 這樣、以東人背叛猶大、脫離他的權下、直到今日．那時立拿人也背叛了、因為約蘭離棄耶和華他列祖的　神。
 
 
  1. Moreover he made high places in the mountains of Judah and caused the inhabitants of Jerusalem to commit fornication, and compelled Judah thereto.
  2. And there came a writing to him from Elijah the prophet, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of David thy father, Because thou hast not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat thy father, nor in the ways of Asa king of Judah,
  3. But hast walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and hast made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to go a whoring, like to the whoredoms of the house of Ahab, and also hast slain thy brethren of thy father's house, which were better than thyself:
  4. Behold, with a great plague will the LORD smite thy people, and thy children, and thy wives, and all thy goods:
  5. And thou shalt have great sickness by disease of thy bowels, until thy bowels fall out by reason of the sickness day by day.
  1. 他又在猶大諸山建築邱壇、使耶路撒冷的居民行邪淫、誘惑猶大人。
  2. 先知以利亞達信與約蘭、說、耶和華你祖大衛的　神如此說、因為你不行你父約沙法、和猶大王亞撒的道、
  3. 乃行以色列諸王的道、使猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民行邪淫、像亞哈家一樣、又殺了你父家比你好的諸兄弟．
  4. 故此耶和華降大災與你的百姓、和你的妻子、兒女、並你一切所有的。
  5. 你的腸子必患病、日加沉重、以致你的腸子墜落下來。
 
 
  1. Moreover the LORD stirred up against Jehoram the spirit of the Philistines, and of the Arabians, that were near the Ethiopians:
  2. And they came up into Judah, and brake into it, and carried away all the substance that was found in the king's house, and his sons also, and his wives; so that there was never a son left him, save Jehoahaz, the youngest of his sons.
  3. And after all this the LORD smote him in his bowels with an incurable disease.
  4. And it came to pass, that in process of time, after the end of two years, his bowels fell out by reason of his sickness: so he died of sore diseases. And his people made no burning for him, like the burning of his fathers.
  5. Thirty and two years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years, and departed without being desired. Howbeit they buried him in the city of David, but not in the sepulchres of the kings.
  1. 以後耶和華激動非利士人、和靠近古實的亞拉伯人、來攻擊約蘭。
  2. 他們上來攻擊猶大、侵入境內、擄掠了王宮裡所有的財貨、和他的妻子、兒女．除了他小兒子約哈斯〔又名亞哈謝〕之外、沒有留下一個兒子。
  3. 這些事以後、耶和華使約蘭的腸子、患不能醫治的病。
  4. 他患此病纏綿日久、過了二年、腸子墜落下來、病重而死。他的民沒有為他燒甚麼物件、像從前為他列祖所燒的一樣。
  5. 約蘭登基的時候年三十二歲、在耶路撒冷作王八年．他去世無人思慕．眾人葬他在大衛城、只是不在列王的墳墓裡。
