  1. Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: but he did not that which was right in the sight of the LORD, like David his father:
  2. For he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, and made also molten images for Baalim.
  3. Moreover he burnt incense in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and burnt his children in the fire, after the abominations of the heathen whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel.
  4. He sacrificed also and burnt incense in the high places, and on the hills, and under every green tree.
  5. Wherefore the LORD his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Syria; and they smote him, and carried away a great multitude of them captives, and brought them to Damascus. And he was also delivered into the hand of the king of Israel, who smote him with a great slaughter.
  1. 亞哈斯登基的時候、年二十歲、在耶路撒冷作王十六年．不像他祖大衛行耶和華眼中看為正的事、
  2. 卻行以色列諸王的道、又鑄造巴力的像．
  3. 並且在欣嫩子谷燒香、用火焚燒他的兒女、行耶和華在以色列人面前所驅逐的外邦人那可憎的事．
  4. 並在邱壇上、山岡上、各青翠樹下獻祭燒香。
  5. 所以耶和華他的　神將他交在亞蘭王手裡、亞蘭王打敗他、擄了他許多的民、帶到大馬色去。　神又將他交在以色列王手裡、以色列王向他大行殺戮。
 
 
  1. For Pekah the son of Remaliah slew in Judah an hundred and twenty thousand in one day, which were all valiant men; because they had forsaken the LORD God of their fathers.
  2. And Zichri, a mighty man of Ephraim, slew Maaseiah the king's son, and Azrikam the governor of the house, and Elkanah that was next to the king.
  3. And the children of Israel carried away captive of their brethren two hundred thousand, women, sons, and daughters, and took also away much spoil from them, and brought the spoil to Samaria.
  4. But a prophet of the LORD was there, whose name was Oded: and he went out before the host that came to Samaria, and said unto them, Behold, because the LORD God of your fathers was wroth with Judah, he hath delivered them into your hand, and ye have slain them in a rage that reacheth up unto heaven.
  5. And now ye purpose to keep under the children of Judah and Jerusalem for bondmen and bondwomen unto you: but are there not with you, even with you, sins against the LORD your God?
  1. 利瑪利的兒子比加、一日殺了猶大人十二萬、都是勇士、因為他們離棄了耶和華他們列祖的　神。
  2. 有一個以法蓮中的勇士、名叫細基利、殺了王的兒子瑪西雅、和管理王宮的押斯利甘、並宰相以利加拿。
  3. 以色列人擄了他們的弟兄、連婦人帶兒女共有二十萬．又掠了許多的財物、帶到撒瑪利亞去了。
  4. 但那裡有耶和華的一個先知、名叫俄德、出來迎接往撒瑪利亞去的軍兵、對他們說、因為耶和華你們列祖的　神惱怒猶大人、所以將他們交在你們手裡、你們竟怒氣沖天、大行殺戮。
  5. 如今你們又有意、強逼猶大人和耶路撒冷人作你們的奴婢．你們豈不也有得罪耶和華你們　神的事麼。
 
 
  1. Now hear me therefore, and deliver the captives again, which ye have taken captive of your brethren: for the fierce wrath of the LORD is upon you.
  2. Then certain of the heads of the children of Ephraim, Azariah the son of Johanan, Berechiah the son of Meshillemoth, and Jehizkiah the son of Shallum, and Amasa the son of Hadlai, stood up against them that came from the war,
  3. And said unto them, Ye shall not bring in the captives hither: for whereas we have offended against the LORD already, ye intend to add more to our sins and to our trespass: for our trespass is great, and there is fierce wrath against Israel.
  4. So the armed men left the captives and the spoil before the princes and all the congregation.
  5. And the men which were expressed by name rose up, and took the captives, and with the spoil clothed all that were naked among them, and arrayed them, and shod them, and gave them to eat and to drink, and anointed them, and carried all the feeble of them upon asses, and brought them to Jericho, the city of palm trees, to their brethren: then they returned to Samaria.
  1. 現在你們當聽我說、要將擄來的弟兄釋放回去、因為耶和華向你們已經大發烈怒。
  2. 於是以法蓮人的幾個族長、就是約哈難的兒子亞撒利雅、米實利末的兒子比利家、沙龍的兒子耶希西家、哈得萊的兒子亞瑪撒、起來攔擋出兵回來的人、
  3. 對他們說、你們不可帶進這被擄的人來．你們想要使我們得罪耶和華、加增我們的罪惡過犯、因為我們的罪過甚大、已經有烈怒臨到以色列人了。
  4. 於是帶兵器的人將擄來的人口、和掠來的財物、都留在眾首領和會眾的面前。
  5. 以上題名的那些人就站起、使被擄的人前來、其中有赤身的、就從所掠的財物中拿出衣服和鞋來、給他們穿．又給他們喫喝、用膏抹他們．其中有軟弱的、就使他們騎驢、送到棕樹城耶利哥他們弟兄那裡．隨後就回撒瑪利亞去了。
 
 
  1. At that time did king Ahaz send unto the kings of Assyria to help him.
  2. For again the Edomites had come and smitten Judah, and carried away captives.
  3. The Philistines also had invaded the cities of the low country, and of the south of Judah, and had taken Bethshemesh, and Ajalon, and Gederoth, and Shocho with the villages thereof, and Timnah with the villages thereof, Gimzo also and the villages thereof: and they dwelt there.
  4. For the LORD brought Judah low because of Ahaz king of Israel; for he made Judah naked, and transgressed sore against the LORD.
  5. And Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria came unto him, and distressed him, but strengthened him not.
  1. 那時、亞哈斯王差遣人去見亞述諸王、求他們幫助、
  2. 因為以東人又來攻擊猶大、擄掠子民。
  3. 非利士人也來侵佔高原、和猶大南方的城邑、取了伯示麥、亞雅崙、基低羅、梭哥、和屬梭哥的鄉村．亭納和屬亭納的鄉村．瑾鎖和屬瑾鎖的鄉村、就住在那裡。
  4. 因為以色列王亞哈斯在猶大放肆、大大干犯耶和華、所以耶和華使猶大卑微。
  5. 亞述王提革拉尼色上來、卻沒有幫助他、反倒欺凌他。
 
 
  1. For Ahaz took away a portion out of the house of the LORD, and out of the house of the king, and of the princes, and gave it unto the king of Assyria: but he helped him not.
  2. And in the time of his distress did he trespass yet more against the LORD: this is that king Ahaz.
  3. For he sacrificed unto the gods of Damascus, which smote him: and he said, Because the gods of the kings of Syria help them, therefore will I sacrifice to them, that they may help me. But they were the ruin of him, and of all Israel.
  4. And Ahaz gathered together the vessels of the house of God, and cut in pieces the vessels of the house of God, and shut up the doors of the house of the LORD, and he made him altars in every corner of Jerusalem.
  5. And in every several city of Judah he made high places to burn incense unto other gods, and provoked to anger the LORD God of his fathers.
  1. 亞哈斯從耶和華殿裡和王宮中、並首領家內所取的財寶給了亞述王．這也無濟於事。
  2. 這亞哈斯王在急難的時候、越發得罪耶和華。
  3. 他祭祀攻擊他的大馬色之神、說、因為亞蘭王的神幫助他們、我也獻祭與他、他好幫助我．但那些神使他和以色列眾人敗亡了。
  4. 亞哈斯將　神殿裡的器皿都聚了來、毀壞了．且封鎖耶和華殿的門．在耶路撒冷各處的拐角建築祭壇。
  5. 又在猶大各城建立邱壇、與別神燒香、惹動耶和華他列祖　神的怒氣。
 
 
  1. Now the rest of his acts and of all his ways, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.
  2. And Ahaz slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city, even in Jerusalem: but they brought him not into the sepulchres of the kings of Israel: and Hezekiah his son reigned in his stead.
  1. 亞哈斯其餘的事、和他的行為、自始至終都寫在猶大和以色列諸王記上。
  2. 亞哈斯與他列祖同睡、葬在耶路撒冷城裡、沒有送入以色列諸王的墳墓中．他兒子希西家接續他作王。
