  1. 約伯回答說、
  2. 惟願我的煩惱稱一稱、我一切的災害放在天平裡。
  3. 現今都比海沙更重、所以我的言語急躁。
  4. 因全能者的箭射入我身、其毒、我的靈喝盡了．　神的驚嚇擺陣攻擊我。
  5. 野驢有草、豈能叫喚．牛有料、豈能吼叫。
  1. Then Job answered,
  2. "Oh that my grief were actually weighed And laid in the balances together with my calamity!
  3. "For then it would be heavier than the sand of the seas; Therefore my words have been rash.
  4. "For the arrows of the Almighty are within me, Their poison my spirit drinks; The terrors of God are arrayed against me.
  5. "Does the wild donkey bray over his grass, Or does the ox low over his fodder?
 
 
  1. 物淡而無鹽、豈可喫麼、蛋青有甚麼滋味呢。
  2. 看為可厭的食物、我心不肯挨近。
  3. 惟願我得著所求的、願　神賜我所切望的．
  4. 就是願　神把我壓碎、伸手將我剪除。
  5. 我因沒有違棄那聖者的言語、就仍以此為安慰、在不止息的痛苦中、還可踊躍。
  1. "Can something tasteless be eaten without salt, Or is there any taste in the white of an egg?
  2. "My soul refuses to touch them; They are like loathsome food to me.
  3. "Oh that my request might come to pass, And that God would grant my longing!
  4. "Would that God were willing to crush me, That He would loose His hand and cut me off!
  5. "But it is still my consolation, And I rejoice in unsparing pain, That I have not denied the words of the Holy One.
 
 
  1. 我有甚麼氣力、使我等候．我有甚麼結局、使我忍耐。
  2. 我的氣力、豈是石頭的氣力．我的肉身、豈是銅的呢．
  3. 在我豈不是毫無幫助麼．智慧豈不是從我心中趕出淨盡麼。
  4. 那將要灰心、離棄全能者、不敬畏　神的人、他的朋友、當以慈愛待他。
  5. 我的弟兄詭詐、好像溪水、又像溪水流乾的河道。
  1. "What is my strength, that I should wait? And what is my end, that I should endure?
  2. "Is my strength the strength of stones, Or is my flesh bronze?
  3. "Is it that my help is not within me, And that deliverance is driven from me?
  4. "For the despairing man there should be kindness from his friend; So that he does not forsake the fear of the Almighty.
  5. "My brothers have acted deceitfully like a wadi, Like the torrents of wadis which vanish,
 
 
  1. 這河、因結冰發黑、有雪藏在其中．
  2. 天氣漸暖、就隨時消化．日頭炎熱、便從原處乾涸。
  3. 結伴的客旅離棄大道、順河邊行．到荒野之地死亡。
  4. 提瑪結伴的客旅瞻望、示巴同夥的人等候。
  5. 他們因失了盼望就抱愧、來到那裡便蒙羞。
  1. Which are turbid because of ice And into which the snow melts.
  2. "When they become waterless, they are silent, When it is hot, they vanish from their place.
  3. "The paths of their course wind along, They go up into nothing and perish.
  4. "The caravans of Tema looked, The travelers of Sheba hoped for them.
  5. "They were disappointed for they had trusted, They came there and were confounded.
 
 
  1. 現在你們正是這樣．看見驚嚇的事便懼怕。
  2. 我豈說、請你們供給我．從你們的財物中、送禮物給我。
  3. 豈說、拯救我脫離敵人的手麼．救贖我脫離強暴人的手麼。
  4. 請你們教導我、我便不作聲．使我明白在何事上有錯。
  5. 正直的言語、力量何其大．但你們責備、是責備甚麼呢。
  1. "Indeed, you have now become such, You see a terror and are afraid.
  2. "Have I said, 'Give me something,' Or, 'Offer a bribe for me from your wealth,'
  3. Or, 'Deliver me from the hand of the adversary,' Or, 'Redeem me from the hand of the tyrants'?
  4. "Teach me, and I will be silent; And show me how I have erred.
  5. "How painful are honest words! But what does your argument prove?
 
 
  1. 絕望人的講論、既然如風、你們還想要駁正言語麼。
  2. 你們想為孤兒拈鬮、以朋友當貨物。
  3. 現在請你們看看我、我決不當面說謊。
  4. 請你們轉意、不要不公．請再轉意、我的事有理。
  5. 我的舌上、豈有不義麼．我的口裡、豈不辨奸惡麼。
  1. "Do you intend to reprove my words, When the words of one in despair belong to the wind?
  2. "You would even cast lots for the orphans And barter over your friend.
  3. "Now please look at me, And see if I lie to your face.
  4. "Desist now, let there be no injustice; Even desist, my righteousness is yet in it.
  5. "Is there injustice on my tongue? Cannot my palate discern calamities?
