  1. 人在世上豈無爭戰麼．他的日子不像雇工人的日子麼。
  2. 像奴僕切慕黑影、像雇工人盼望工價、
  3. 我也照樣、經過困苦的日月、夜間的疲乏為我而定。
  4. 我躺臥的時候、便說、我何時起來、黑夜就過去呢．我盡是反來覆去、直到天亮。
  5. 我的肉體以蟲子和塵土為衣．我的皮膚纔收了口、又重新破裂。
  1. "Is not man forced to labor on earth, And are not his days like the days of a hired man?
  2. "As a slave who pants for the shade, And as a hired man who eagerly waits for his wages,
  3. So am I allotted months of vanity, And nights of trouble are appointed me.
  4. "When I lie down I say, 'When shall I arise?' But the night continues, And I am continually tossing until dawn.
  5. "My flesh is clothed with worms and a crust of dirt, My skin hardens and runs.
 
 
  1. 我的日子比梭更快、都消耗在無指望之中。
  2. 求你想念、我的生命不過是一口氣．我的眼睛必不再見福樂。
  3. 觀看我的人、他的眼必不再見我．你的眼目要看我、我卻不在了。
  4. 雲彩消散而過、照樣、人下陰間也不再上來。
  5. 他不再回自己的家、故土也不再認識他。
  1. "My days are swifter than a weaver's shuttle, And come to an end without hope.
  2. "Remember that my life is but breath; My eye will not again see good.
  3. "The eye of him who sees me will behold me no longer; Your eyes will be on me, but I will not be.
  4. "When a cloud vanishes, it is gone, So he who goes down to Sheol does not come up.
  5. "He will not return again to his house, Nor will his place know him anymore.
 
 
  1. 我不禁止我口．我靈愁苦、要發出言語．我心苦惱、要吐露哀情。
  2. 我對　神說、我豈是洋海、豈是大魚、你竟防守我呢。
  3. 若說、我的床必安慰我、我的榻必解釋我的苦情．
  4. 你就用夢驚駭我、用異象恐嚇我．
  5. 甚至我寧肯噎死、寧肯死亡、勝似留我這一身的骨頭。
  1. "Therefore I will not restrain my mouth; I will speak in the anguish of my spirit, I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.
  2. "Am I the sea, or the sea monster, That You set a guard over me?
  3. "If I say, 'My bed will comfort me, My couch will ease my complaint,'
  4. Then You frighten me with dreams And terrify me by visions;
  5. So that my soul would choose suffocation, Death rather than my pains.
 
 
  1. 我厭棄性命、不願永活．你任憑我罷．因我的日子都是虛空。
  2. 人算甚麼、你竟看他為大、將他放在心上、
  3. 每早鑒察他、時刻試驗他。
  4. 你到何時纔轉眼不看我、纔任憑我咽下唾沫呢。
  5. 鑒察人的主阿、我若有罪、於你何妨．為何以我當你的箭靶子、使我厭棄自己的性命。
  1. "I waste away; I will not live forever Leave me alone, for my days are but a breath.
  2. "What is man that You magnify him, And that You are concerned about him,
  3. That You examine him every morning And try him every moment?
  4. "Will You never turn Your gaze away from me, Nor let me alone until I swallow my spittle?
  5. "Have I sinned? What have I done to You, O watcher of men? Why have You set me as Your target, So that I am a burden to myself?
 
 
  1. 為何不赦免我的過犯、除掉我的罪孽。我現今要躺臥在塵土中．你要殷勤的尋找我、我卻不在了。
  1. "Why then do You not pardon my transgression And take away my iniquity? For now I will lie down in the dust; And You will seek me, but I will not be."
