  1. Then Zophar the Naamathite replied:
  2. "Are all these words to go unanswered? Is this talker to be vindicated?
  3. Will your idle talk reduce men to silence? Will no one rebuke you when you mock?
  4. You say to God, 'My beliefs are flawless and I am pure in your sight.'
  5. Oh, how I wish that God would speak, that he would open his lips against you
  1. 拿瑪人瑣法回答說、
  2. 這許多的言語、豈不該回答麼.多嘴多舌的人、豈可稱為義麼。
  3. 你誇大的話、豈能使人不作聲麼.你戲笑的時候、豈沒有人叫你害羞麼。
  4. 你說、我的道理純全、我在你眼前潔淨。
  5. 惟願 神說話、願他開口攻擊你。
 
 
  1. and disclose to you the secrets of wisdom, for true wisdom has two sides. Know this: God has even forgotten some of your sin.
  2. "Can you fathom the mysteries of God? Can you probe the limits of the Almighty?
  3. They are higher than the heavens--what can you do? They are deeper than the depths of the grave --what can you know?
  4. Their measure is longer than the earth and wider than the sea.
  5. "If he comes along and confines you in prison and convenes a court, who can oppose him?
  1. 並將智慧的奧秘指示你.他有諸般的智識。所以當知道 神追討你、比你罪孽該得的還少。
  2. 你考察、就能測透 神麼.你豈能盡情測透全能者麼。
  3. 他的智慧高於天、你還能作甚麼.深於陰間、你還能知道甚麼。
  4. 其量、比地長、比海寬。
  5. 他若經過、將人拘禁、招人受審、誰能阻擋他呢。
 
 
  1. Surely he recognizes deceitful men; and when he sees evil, does he not take note?
  2. But a witless man can no more become wise than a wild donkey's colt can be born a man.
  3. "Yet if you devote your heart to him and stretch out your hands to him,
  4. if you put away the sin that is in your hand and allow no evil to dwell in your tent,
  5. then you will lift up your face without shame; you will stand firm and without fear.
  1. 他本知道虛妄的人.人的罪孽、他雖不留意、還是無所不見。
  2. 空虛的人、卻毫無知識、人生在世好像野驢的駒子。
  3. 你若將心安正、又向主舉手.
  4. 你手裡若有罪孽、就當遠遠的除掉、也不容非義住在你帳棚之中。
  5. 那時、你必仰起臉來、毫無斑點.你也必堅固、無所懼怕。
 
 
  1. You will surely forget your trouble, recalling it only as waters gone by.
  2. Life will be brighter than noonday, and darkness will become like morning.
  3. You will be secure, because there is hope; you will look about you and take your rest in safety.
  4. You will lie down, with no one to make you afraid, and many will court your favor.
  5. But the eyes of the wicked will fail, and escape will elude them; their hope will become a dying gasp."
  1. 你必忘記你的苦楚、就是想起也如流過去的水一樣。
  2. 你在世的日子、要比正午更明.雖有黑暗、仍像早晨。
  3. 你因有指望、就必穩固.也必四圍巡查、坦然安息。
  4. 你躺臥無人驚嚇、且有許多人向你求恩。
  5. 但惡人的眼目必要失明、他們無路可逃.他們的指望就是氣絕。
