  1. Then Job answered,
  2. "I have heard many such things; Sorry comforters are you all.
  3. "Is there no limit to windy words? Or what plagues you that you answer?
  4. "I too could speak like you, If I were in your place. I could compose words against you And shake my head at you.
  5. "I could strengthen you with my mouth, And the solace of my lips could lessen your pain.
  1. 約伯回答說、
  2. 這樣的話我聽了許多．你們安慰人、反叫人愁煩。
  3. 虛空的言語有窮盡麼．有甚麼話惹動你回答呢。
  4. 我也能說你們那樣的話．你們若處在我的境遇、我也會聯絡言語攻擊你們、又能向你們搖頭。
  5. 但我必用口堅固你們、用嘴消解你們的憂愁。
 
 
  1. "If I speak, my pain is not lessened, And if I hold back, what has left me?
  2. "But now He has exhausted me; You have laid waste all my company.
  3. "You have shriveled me up, It has become a witness; And my leanness rises up against me, It testifies to my face.
  4. "His anger has torn me and hunted me down, He has gnashed at me with His teeth; My adversary glares at me.
  5. "They have gaped at me with their mouth, They have slapped me on the cheek with contempt; They have massed themselves against me.
  1. 我雖說話、憂愁仍不得消解．我雖停住不說、憂愁就離開我麼。
  2. 但現在　神使我困倦．使親友遠離我。
  3. 又抓住我、作見證攻擊我．我身體的枯瘦也當面見證我的不是。
  4. 主發怒撕裂我、逼迫我、向我切齒．我的敵人怒目看我。
  5. 他們向我開口、打我的臉羞辱我、聚會攻擊我。
 
 
  1. "God hands me over to ruffians And tosses me into the hands of the wicked.
  2. "I was at ease, but He shattered me, And He has grasped me by the neck and shaken me to pieces; He has also set me up as His target.
  3. "His arrows surround me Without mercy He splits my kidneys open; He pours out my gall on the ground.
  4. "He breaks through me with breach after breach; He runs at me like a warrior.
  5. "I have sewed sackcloth over my skin And thrust my horn in the dust.
  1. 　神把我交給不敬虔的人、把我扔到惡人的手中。
  2. 我素來安逸、他折斷我、掐住我的頸項、把我摔碎、又立我為他的箭靶子。
  3. 他的弓箭手四面圍繞我．他破裂我的肺腑、並不留情．把我的膽傾倒在地上．
  4. 將我破裂又破裂．如同勇士向我直闖。
  5. 我縫麻布在我皮膚上、把我的角放在塵土中。
 
 
  1. "My face is flushed from weeping, And deep darkness is on my eyelids,
  2. Although there is no violence in my hands, And my prayer is pure.
  3. "O earth, do not cover my blood, And let there be no resting place for my cry.
  4. "Even now, behold, my witness is in heaven, And my advocate is on high.
  5. "My friends are my scoffers; My eye weeps to God.
  1. 我的臉、因哭泣發紫、在我的眼皮上有死蔭。
  2. 我的手中、卻無強暴、我的祈禱、也是清潔。
  3. 地阿、不要遮蓋我的血、不要阻擋我的哀求。
  4. 現今、在天有我的見證、在上有我的中保。
  5. 我的朋友譏誚我．我卻向　神眼淚汪汪．
 
 
  1. "O that a man might plead with God As a man with his neighbor!
  2. "For when a few years are past, I shall go the way of no return.
  1. 願人得與　神辯白、如同人與朋友辯白一樣。
  2. 因為再過幾年、我必走那往而不返之路。
