  1. Elihu spake moreover, and said,
  2. Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God's?
  3. For thou saidst, What advantage will it be unto thee? and, What profit shall I have, if I be cleansed from my sin?
  4. I will answer thee, and thy companions with thee.
  5. Look unto the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds which are higher than thou.
  1. 以利戶又說、
  2. 你以為有理、或以為你的公義勝於　神的公義、
  3. 纔說、這與我有甚麼益處．我不犯罪比犯罪有甚麼好處呢。
  4. 我要回答你、和在你這裡的朋友。
  5. 你要向天觀看、瞻望那高於你的穹蒼。
 
 
  1. If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him? or if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?
  2. If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand?
  3. Thy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art; and thy righteousness may profit the son of man.
  4. By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make the oppressed to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty.
  5. But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night;
  1. 你若犯罪、能使　神受何害呢．你的過犯加增、能使　神受何損呢。
  2. 你若是公義、還能加增他甚麼呢．他從你手裡還接受甚麼呢。
  3. 你的過惡或能害你這類的人．你的公義或能叫世人得益處。
  4. 人因多受欺壓就哀求．因受能者的轄制〔轄制原文作膀臂〕便求救、
  5. 卻無人說、造我的　神在那裡．他使人夜間歌唱。
 
 
  1. Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?
  2. There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men.
  3. Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.
  4. Although thou sayest thou shalt not see him, yet judgment is before him; therefore trust thou in him.
  5. But now, because it is not so, he hath visited in his anger; yet he knoweth it not in great extremity:
  1. 教訓我們勝於地上的走獸、使我們有聰明勝於空中的飛鳥。
  2. 他們在那裡、因惡人的驕傲呼求、卻無人答應。
  3. 虛妄的呼求、　神必不垂聽、全能者也必不眷顧。
  4. 何況你說、你不得見他、你的案件在他面前、你等候他罷。
  5. 但如今因他未曾發怒降罰、也不甚理會狂傲．
 
 
  1. Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vain; he multiplieth words without knowledge.
  1. 所以約伯開口說虛妄的話、多發無知識的言語。
