Psalms 45 [KJV:NASB]

  1. My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
  2. Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.
  3. Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.
  4. And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
  5. Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.
  1. My heart overflows with a good theme; I address my verses to the King; My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
  2. You are fairer than the sons of men; Grace is poured upon Your lips; Therefore God has blessed You forever.
  3. Gird Your sword on Your thigh, O Mighty One, In Your splendor and Your majesty!
  4. And in Your majesty ride on victoriously, For the cause of truth and meekness and righteousness; Let Your right hand teach You awesome things.
  5. Your arrows are sharp; The peoples fall under You; Your arrows are in the heart of the King's enemies.

  1. Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.
  2. Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
  3. All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.
  4. Kings' daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.
  5. Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house;
  1. Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of uprightness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
  2. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of joy above Your fellows.
  3. All Your garments are fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia; Out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made You glad.
  4. Kings' daughters are among Your noble ladies; At Your right hand stands the queen in gold from Ophir.
  5. Listen, O daughter, give attention and incline your ear: Forget your people and your father's house;

  1. So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him.
  2. And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.
  3. The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.
  4. She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.
  5. With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace.
  1. Then the King will desire your beauty. Because He is your Lord, bow down to Him.
  2. The daughter of Tyre will come with a gift; The rich among the people will seek your favor.
  3. The King's daughter is all glorious within; Her clothing is interwoven with gold.
  4. She will be led to the King in embroidered work; The virgins, her companions who follow her, Will be brought to You.
  5. They will be led forth with gladness and rejoicing; They will enter into the King's palace.

  1. Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth.
  2. I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.
  1. In place of your fathers will be your sons; You shall make them princes in all the earth.
  2. I will cause Your name to be remembered in all generations; Therefore the peoples will give You thanks forever and ever.
