Psalms 49 [NIV:繁體]   
 
  1. Hear this, all you peoples; listen, all who live in this world,
  2. both low and high, rich and poor alike:
  3. My mouth will speak words of wisdom; the utterance from my heart will give understanding.
  4. I will turn my ear to a proverb; with the harp I will expound my riddle:
  5. Why should I fear when evil days come, when wicked deceivers surround me-
  1. 〔可拉後裔的詩、交與伶長。〕萬民哪、你們都當聽這話、世上一切的居民、
  2. 無論上流下流、富足貧窮、都當留心聽。
  3. 我口要說智慧的言語.我心要想通達的道理。
  4. 我要側耳聽比喻、用琴解謎語。
  5. 在患難的日子、奸惡隨我腳跟、四面環繞我、我何必懼怕。
 
 
  1. those who trust in their wealth and boast of their great riches?
  2. No man can redeem the life of another or give to God a ransom for him-
  3. the ransom for a life is costly, no payment is ever enough-
  4. that he should live on forever and not see decay.
  5. For all can see that wise men die; the foolish and the senseless alike perish and leave their wealth to others.
  1. 那些倚仗財貨自誇錢財多的人、
  2. 一個也無法贖自己的弟兄、也不能替他將贖價給 神、
  3. 叫他長遠活著、不見朽壞.因為贖他生命的價值極貴、只可永遠罷休.
  4. 見上節
  5. 他必見智慧人死.又見愚頑人和畜類人、一同滅亡、將他們的財貨留給別人。
 
 
  1. Their tombs will remain their houses forever, their dwellings for endless generations, though they had named lands after themselves.
  2. But man, despite his riches, does not endure; he is like the beasts that perish.
  3. This is the fate of those who trust in themselves, and of their followers, who approve their sayings. Selah
  4. Like sheep they are destined for the grave, and death will feed on them. The upright will rule over them in the morning; their forms will decay in the grave, far from their princely mansions.
  5. But God will redeem my life from the grave; he will surely take me to himself. Selah
  1. 他們心裡思想、他們的家室必永存、住宅必留到萬代.他們以自己的名、稱自己的地。
  2. 但人居尊貴中不能長久、如同死亡的畜類一樣。
  3. 他們行的這道、本為自己的愚昧.但他們以後的人、還佩服他們的話語。〔細拉〕
  4. 他們如同羊群派定下陰間.死亡必作他們的牧者.到了早晨、正直人必管轄他們.他們的美容、必被陰間所滅、以致無處可存。
  5. 只是 神必救贖我的靈魂、脫離陰間的權柄、因他必收納我。〔細拉〕
 
 
  1. Do not be overawed when a man grows rich, when the splendor of his house increases;
  2. for he will take nothing with him when he dies, his splendor will not descend with him.
  3. Though while he lived he counted himself blessed-- and men praise you when you prosper-
  4. he will join the generation of his fathers, who will never see the light of life .
  5. A man who has riches without understanding is like the beasts that perish.
  1. 見人發財家室增榮的時候、你不要懼怕.
  2. 因為他死的時候、甚麼也不能帶去.他的榮耀不能隨他下去。
  3. 他活著的時候、雖然自誇為有福、(你若利己、人必誇獎你)
  4. 他仍必歸到他歷代的祖宗那裡、永不見光。
  5. 人在尊貴中、而不醒悟、就如死亡的畜類一樣。
