  1. Why do you boast in evil, O mighty man? The lovingkindness of God endures all day long.
  2. Your tongue devises destruction, Like a sharp razor, O worker of deceit.
  3. You love evil more than good, Falsehood more than speaking what is right. Selah.
  4. You love all words that devour, O deceitful tongue.
  5. But God will break you down forever; He will snatch you up and tear you away from your tent, And uproot you from the land of the living. Selah.
  1. 〔以東人多益來告訴掃羅說、大衛到了亞希米勒家．那時、大衛作這訓誨詩、交與伶長。〕勇士阿、你為何以作惡自誇．　神的慈愛是常存的。
  2. 你的舌頭邪惡詭詐、好像剃頭刀、快利傷人。
  3. 你愛惡勝似愛善、又愛說謊、不愛說公義。〔細拉〕
  4. 詭詐的舌頭阿、你愛說一切毀滅的話。
  5. 　神也要毀滅你、直到永遠．他要把你拿去、從你的帳棚中抽出、從活人之地將你拔出。〔細拉〕
 
 
  1. The righteous will see and fear, And will laugh at him, saying,
  2. "Behold, the man who would not make God his refuge, But trusted in the abundance of his riches And was strong in his evil desire."
  3. But as for me, I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the lovingkindness of God forever and ever.
  4. I will give You thanks forever, because You have done it, And I will wait on Your name, for it is good, in the presence of Your godly ones.
  1. 義人要看見而懼怕、並要笑他、
  2. 說、看哪、這就是那不以　神為他力量的人．只倚仗他豐富的財物、在邪惡上堅立自己。
  3. 至於我、就像　神殿中的青橄欖樹．我永永遠遠倚靠　神的慈愛。
  4. 我要稱謝你、直到永遠、因為你行了這事．我也要在你聖民面前仰望你的名．這名本為美好。
