Psalms 62 [NIV:KJV]

  1. My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him.
  2. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
  3. How long will you assault a man? Would all of you throw him down-- this leaning wall, this tottering fence?
  4. They fully intend to topple him from his lofty place; they take delight in lies. With their mouths they bless, but in their hearts they curse. Selah
  5. Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him.
  1. Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.
  2. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
  3. How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.
  4. They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.
  5. My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

  1. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
  2. My salvation and my honor depend on God ; he is my mighty rock, my refuge.
  3. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. Selah
  4. Lowborn men are but a breath, the highborn are but a lie; if weighed on a balance, they are nothing; together they are only a breath.
  5. Do not trust in extortion or take pride in stolen goods; though your riches increase, do not set your heart on them.
  1. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
  2. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
  3. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
  4. Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.
  5. Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.

  1. One thing God has spoken, two things have I heard: that you, O God, are strong,
  2. and that you, O Lord, are loving. Surely you will reward each person according to what he has done.
  1. God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
  2. Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
