箴言 5 [繁體:NIV]   
 
  1. 我兒、要留心我智慧的話語、側耳聽我聰明的言詞.
  2. 為要使你謹守謀略、嘴唇保存知識。
  3. 因為淫婦的嘴滴下蜂蜜、他的口比油更滑.
  4. 至終卻苦似茵蔯、快如兩刃的刀。
  5. 他的腳、下入死地.他腳步、踏住陰間.
  1. My son, pay attention to my wisdom, listen well to my words of insight,
  2. that you may maintain discretion and your lips may preserve knowledge.
  3. For the lips of an adulteress drip honey, and her speech is smoother than oil;
  4. but in the end she is bitter as gall, sharp as a double-edged sword.
  5. Her feet go down to death; her steps lead straight to the grave.
 
 
  1. 以致他找不著生命平坦的道.他的路變遷不定、自己還不知道。
  2. 眾子阿、現在要聽從我、不可離棄我口中的話。
  3. 你所行的道要離他遠、不可就近他的房門.
  4. 恐怕將你的尊榮給別人、將你的歲月給殘忍的人.
  5. 恐怕外人滿得你的力量、你勞碌得來的、歸入外人的家.
  1. She gives no thought to the way of life; her paths are crooked, but she knows it not.
  2. Now then, my sons, listen to me; do not turn aside from what I say.
  3. Keep to a path far from her, do not go near the door of her house,
  4. lest you give your best strength to others and your years to one who is cruel,
  5. lest strangers feast on your wealth and your toil enrich another man's house.
 
 
  1. 終久你皮肉和身體消毀、你就悲歎、
  2. 說、我怎麼恨惡訓誨、心中藐視責備、
  3. 也不聽從我師傅的話、又不側耳聽那教訓我的人。
  4. 我在聖會裡、幾乎落在諸般惡中。
  5. 你要喝自己池中的水、飲自己井裡的活水。
  1. At the end of your life you will groan, when your flesh and body are spent.
  2. You will say, "How I hated discipline! How my heart spurned correction!
  3. I would not obey my teachers or listen to my instructors.
  4. I have come to the brink of utter ruin in the midst of the whole assembly."
  5. Drink water from your own cistern, running water from your own well.
 
 
  1. 你的泉源豈可漲溢在外.你的河水豈可流在街上.
  2. 惟獨歸你一人、不可與外人同用。
  3. 要使你的泉源蒙福.要喜悅你幼年所娶的妻。
  4. 他如可愛的麀鹿、可喜的母鹿.願他的胸懷、使你時時知足.他的愛情、使你常常戀慕。
  5. 我兒、你為何戀慕淫婦、為何抱外女的胸懷.
  1. Should your springs overflow in the streets, your streams of water in the public squares?
  2. Let them be yours alone, never to be shared with strangers.
  3. May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth.
  4. A loving doe, a graceful deer-- may her breasts satisfy you always, may you ever be captivated by her love.
  5. Why be captivated, my son, by an adulteress? Why embrace the bosom of another man's wife?
 
 
  1. 因為人所行的道、都在耶和華眼前.他也修平人一切的路。
  2. 惡人必被自己的罪孽捉住.他必被自己的罪惡如繩索纏繞。
  3. 他因不受訓誨、就必死亡.又因愚昧過甚、必走差了路。
  1. For a man's ways are in full view of the LORD, and he examines all his paths.
  2. The evil deeds of a wicked man ensnare him; the cords of his sin hold him fast.
  3. He will die for lack of discipline, led astray by his own great folly.
