Proverbs 14 [KJV:NASB]   
 
  1. Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.
  2. He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the LORD: but he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him.
  3. In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them.
  4. Where no oxen are, the crib is clean: but much increase is by the strength of the ox.
  5. A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.
  1. The wise woman builds her house, But the foolish tears it down with her own hands.
  2. He who walks in his uprightness fears the LORD, But he who is devious in his ways despises Him.
  3. In the mouth of the foolish is a rod for his back, But the lips of the wise will protect them.
  4. Where no oxen are, the manger is clean, But much revenue comes by the strength of the ox.
  5. A trustworthy witness will not lie, But a false witness utters lies.
 
 
  1. A scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not: but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth.
  2. Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge.
  3. The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit.
  4. Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour.
  5. The heart knoweth his own bitterness; and a stranger doth not intermeddle with his joy.
  1. A scoffer seeks wisdom and finds none, But knowledge is easy to one who has understanding.
  2. Leave the presence of a fool, Or you will not discern words of knowledge.
  3. The wisdom of the sensible is to understand his way, But the foolishness of fools is deceit.
  4. Fools mock at sin, But among the upright there is good will.
  5. The heart knows its own bitterness, And a stranger does not share its joy.
 
 
  1. The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish.
  2. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
  3. Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness.
  4. The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.
  5. The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.
  1. The house of the wicked will be destroyed, But the tent of the upright will flourish.
  2. There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.
  3. Even in laughter the heart may be in pain, And the end of joy may be grief.
  4. The backslider in heart will have his fill of his own ways, But a good man will be satisfied with his.
  5. The naive believes everything, But the sensible man considers his steps.
 
 
  1. A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.
  2. He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated.
  3. The simple inherit folly: but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.
  4. The evil bow before the good; and the wicked at the gates of the righteous.
  5. The poor is hated even of his own neighbour: but the rich hath many friends.
  1. A wise man is cautious and turns away from evil, But a fool is arrogant and careless.
  2. A quick-tempered man acts foolishly, And a man of evil devices is hated.
  3. The naive inherit foolishness, But the sensible are crowned with knowledge.
  4. The evil will bow down before the good, And the wicked at the gates of the righteous.
  5. The poor is hated even by his neighbor, But those who love the rich are many.
 
 
  1. He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he.
  2. Do they not err that devise evil? but mercy and truth shall be to them that devise good.
  3. In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.
  4. The crown of the wise is their riches: but the foolishness of fools is folly.
  5. A true witness delivereth souls: but a deceitful witness speaketh lies.
  1. He who despises his neighbor sins, But happy is he who is gracious to the poor.
  2. Will they not go astray who devise evil? But kindness and truth will be to those who devise good.
  3. In all labor there is profit, But mere talk leads only to poverty.
  4. The crown of the wise is their riches, But the folly of fools is foolishness.
  5. A truthful witness saves lives, But he who utters lies is treacherous.
 
 
  1. In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.
  2. The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
  3. In the multitude of people is the king's honour: but in the want of people is the destruction of the prince.
  4. He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.
  5. A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.
  1. In the fear of the LORD there is strong confidence, And his children will have refuge.
  2. The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, That one may avoid the snares of death.
  3. In a multitude of people is a king's glory, But in the dearth of people is a prince's ruin.
  4. He who is slow to anger has great understanding, But he who is quick-tempered exalts folly.
  5. A tranquil heart is life to the body, But passion is rottenness to the bones.
 
 
  1. He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor.
  2. The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death.
  3. Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known.
  4. Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
  5. The king's favour is toward a wise servant: but his wrath is against him that causeth shame.
  1. He who oppresses the poor taunts his Maker, But he who is gracious to the needy honors Him.
  2. The wicked is thrust down by his wrongdoing, But the righteous has a refuge when he dies.
  3. Wisdom rests in the heart of one who has understanding, But in the hearts of fools it is made known.
  4. Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a disgrace to any people.
  5. The king's favor is toward a servant who acts wisely, But his anger is toward him who acts shamefully.
