箴言 19 [繁體:NIV]   
 
  1. 行為純正的貧窮人、勝過乖謬愚妄的富足人。
  2. 心無知識的、乃為不善.腳步急快的、難免犯罪。
  3. 人的愚昧、傾敗他的道.他的心也抱怨耶和華。
  4. 財物使朋友增多.但窮人朋友遠離。
  5. 作假見證的、必不免受罰.吐出謊言的、終不能逃脫。
  1. Better a poor man whose walk is blameless than a fool whose lips are perverse.
  2. It is not good to have zeal without knowledge, nor to be hasty and miss the way.
  3. A man's own folly ruins his life, yet his heart rages against the LORD.
  4. Wealth brings many friends, but a poor man's friend deserts him.
  5. A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who pours out lies will not go free.
 
 
  1. 好施散的、有多人求他的恩情.愛送禮的、人都為他的朋友。
  2. 貧窮人弟兄都恨他.何況他的朋友、更遠離他.他用言語追隨、他們卻走了。
  3. 得著智慧的、愛惜生命、保守聰明的、必得好處。
  4. 作假見證的、不免受罰.吐出謊言的、也必滅亡。
  5. 愚昧人宴樂度日、是不合宜的.何況僕人管轄王子呢。
  1. Many curry favor with a ruler, and everyone is the friend of a man who gives gifts.
  2. A poor man is shunned by all his relatives-- how much more do his friends avoid him! Though he pursues them with pleading, they are nowhere to be found.
  3. He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; he who cherishes understanding prospers.
  4. A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who pours out lies will perish.
  5. It is not fitting for a fool to live in luxury-- how much worse for a slave to rule over princes!
 
 
  1. 人有見識、就不輕易發怒.寬恕人的過失、便是自己的榮耀。
  2. 王的忿怒、好像獅子吼叫.他的恩典、卻如草上的甘露。
  3. 愚昧的兒子、是父親的禍患.妻子的爭吵、如雨連連滴漏。
  4. 房屋錢財、是祖宗所遺留的.惟有賢慧的妻、是耶和華所賜的。
  5. 懶惰使人沉睡.懈怠的人、必受飢餓。
  1. A man's wisdom gives him patience; it is to his glory to overlook an offense.
  2. A king's rage is like the roar of a lion, but his favor is like dew on the grass.
  3. A foolish son is his father's ruin, and a quarrelsome wife is like a constant dripping.
  4. Houses and wealth are inherited from parents, but a prudent wife is from the LORD.
  5. Laziness brings on deep sleep, and the shiftless man goes hungry.
 
 
  1. 謹守誡命的、保全生命.輕忽己路的、必致死亡。
  2. 憐憫貧窮的、就是借給耶和華.他的善行、耶和華必償還。
  3. 趁有指望、管教你的兒子.你的心不可任他死亡。
  4. 暴怒的人、必受刑罰.你若救他、必須再救。
  5. 你要聽勸教、受訓誨、使你終久有智慧。
  1. He who obeys instructions guards his life, but he who is contemptuous of his ways will die.
  2. He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward him for what he has done.
  3. Discipline your son, for in that there is hope; do not be a willing party to his death.
  4. A hot-tempered man must pay the penalty; if you rescue him, you will have to do it again.
  5. Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise.
 
 
  1. 人心多有計謀.惟有耶和華的籌算、纔能立定。
  2. 施行仁慈的、令人愛慕.窮人強如說謊言的。
  3. 敬畏耶和華的、得著生命.他必恆久知足、不遭禍患。
  4. 懶惰人放手在盤子裡.就是向口撤回、他也不肯。
  5. 鞭打褻慢人、愚蒙人必長見識.責備明哲人、他就明白知識。
  1. Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.
  2. What a man desires is unfailing love ; better to be poor than a liar.
  3. The fear of the LORD leads to life: Then one rests content, untouched by trouble.
  4. The sluggard buries his hand in the dish; he will not even bring it back to his mouth!
  5. Flog a mocker, and the simple will learn prudence; rebuke a discerning man, and he will gain knowledge.
 
 
  1. 虐待父親、攆出母親的、是貽羞致辱之子。
  2. 我兒、不可聽了教訓、而又偏離知識的言語。
  3. 匪徒作見證戲笑公平.惡人的口吞下罪孽。
  4. 刑罰是為褻慢人豫備的.鞭打是為愚昧人的背豫備的。
  1. He who robs his father and drives out his mother is a son who brings shame and disgrace.
  2. Stop listening to instruction, my son, and you will stray from the words of knowledge.
  3. A corrupt witness mocks at justice, and the mouth of the wicked gulps down evil.
  4. Penalties are prepared for mockers, and beatings for the backs of fools.
