出埃及記 2 [繁體:NIV]   
 
  1. 有一個利未家的人、娶了一個利未女子為妻。
  2. 那女人懷孕、生一個兒子、見他俊美就藏了他三個月。
  3. 後來不能再藏、就取了一個蒲草箱、抹上石漆和石油、將孩子放在裡頭、把箱子擱在河邊的蘆荻中。
  4. 孩子的姐姐遠遠站著、要知道他究竟怎麼樣。
  5. 法老的女兒來到河邊洗澡、他的使女們在河邊行走．他看見箱子在蘆荻中、就打發一個婢女拿來。
  1. Now a man of the house of Levi married a Levite woman,
  2. and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. When she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him for three months.
  3. But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basket for him and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in it and put it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile.
  4. His sister stood at a distance to see what would happen to him.
  5. Then Pharaoh's daughter went down to the Nile to bathe, and her attendants were walking along the river bank. She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her slave girl to get it.
 
 
  1. 他打開箱子看見那孩子、孩子哭了、他就可憐他、說、這是希伯來人的一個孩子。
  2. 孩子的姐姐對法老的女兒說、我去在希伯來婦人中叫一個奶媽來、為你奶這孩子、可以不可以。
  3. 法老的女兒說、可以．童女就去叫了孩子的母親來。
  4. 法老的女兒對他說、你把這孩子抱去、為我奶他、我必給你工價．婦人就抱了孩子去奶他。
  5. 孩子漸長、婦人把他帶到法老的女兒那裡、就作了他的兒子．他給孩子起名叫摩西、意思說、因我把他從水裡拉出來。
  1. She opened it and saw the baby. He was crying, and she felt sorry for him. "This is one of the Hebrew babies," she said.
  2. Then his sister asked Pharaoh's daughter, "Shall I go and get one of the Hebrew women to nurse the baby for you?"
  3. "Yes, go," she answered. And the girl went and got the baby's mother.
  4. Pharaoh's daughter said to her, "Take this baby and nurse him for me, and I will pay you." So the woman took the baby and nursed him.
  5. When the child grew older, she took him to Pharaoh's daughter and he became her son. She named him Moses, saying, "I drew him out of the water."
 
 
  1. 後來摩西長大、他出去到他弟兄那裡、看他們的重擔、見一個埃及人打希伯來人的一個弟兄．
  2. 他左右觀看、見沒有人、就把埃及人打死了、藏在沙土裡。
  3. 第二天他出去見有兩個希伯來人爭鬥、就對那欺負人的說、你為甚麼打你同族的人呢。
  4. 那人說、誰立你作我們的首領和審判官呢、難道你要殺我、像殺那埃及人麼。摩西便懼怕、說、這事必是被人知道了。
  5. 法老聽見這事、就想殺摩西、但摩西躲避法老逃往米甸地居住。
  1. One day, after Moses had grown up, he went out to where his own people were and watched them at their hard labor. He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his own people.
  2. Glancing this way and that and seeing no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.
  3. The next day he went out and saw two Hebrews fighting. He asked the one in the wrong, "Why are you hitting your fellow Hebrew?"
  4. The man said, "Who made you ruler and judge over us? Are you thinking of killing me as you killed the Egyptian?" Then Moses was afraid and thought, "What I did must have become known."
  5. When Pharaoh heard of this, he tried to kill Moses, but Moses fled from Pharaoh and went to live in Midian, where he sat down by a well.
 
 
  1. 一日他在井旁坐下、米甸的祭司有七個女兒、他們來打水、打滿了槽、要飲父親的群羊。
  2. 有牧羊的人來把他們趕走了、摩西卻起來幫助他們、又飲了他們的群羊。
  3. 他們來到父親流珥那裡、他說、今日你們為何來得這麼快呢。
  4. 他們說、有一個埃及人救我們脫離牧羊人的手、並且為我們打水飲了群羊。
  5. 他對女兒們說、那個人在那裡、你們為甚麼撇下他呢、你們去請他來喫飯。
  1. Now a priest of Midian had seven daughters, and they came to draw water and fill the troughs to water their father's flock.
  2. Some shepherds came along and drove them away, but Moses got up and came to their rescue and watered their flock.
  3. When the girls returned to Reuel their father, he asked them, "Why have you returned so early today?"
  4. They answered, "An Egyptian rescued us from the shepherds. He even drew water for us and watered the flock."
  5. "And where is he?" he asked his daughters. "Why did you leave him? Invite him to have something to eat."
 
 
  1. 摩西甘心和那人同住．那人把他的女兒西坡拉給摩西為妻。
  2. 西坡拉生了一個兒子、摩西給他起名叫革舜、意思說、因我在外邦作了寄居的。
  3. 過了多年、埃及王死了．以色列人因作苦工、就歎息哀求、他們的哀聲達於　神。
  4. 　神聽見他們的哀聲、就記念他與亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各所立的約。
  5. 　神看顧以色列人、也知道他們的苦情。
  1. Moses agreed to stay with the man, who gave his daughter Zipporah to Moses in marriage.
  2. Zipporah gave birth to a son, and Moses named him Gershom, saying, "I have become an alien in a foreign land."
  3. During that long period, the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned in their slavery and cried out, and their cry for help because of their slavery went up to God.
  4. God heard their groaning and he remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob.
  5. So God looked on the Israelites and was concerned about them.
