  1. Then the LORD said to Moses, "Go to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the hearts of his officials so that I may perform these miraculous signs of mine among them
  2. that you may tell your children and grandchildren how I dealt harshly with the Egyptians and how I performed my signs among them, and that you may know that I am the LORD."
  3. So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said to him, "This is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: 'How long will you refuse to humble yourself before me? Let my people go, so that they may worship me.
  4. If you refuse to let them go, I will bring locusts into your country tomorrow.
  5. They will cover the face of the ground so that it cannot be seen. They will devour what little you have left after the hail, including every tree that is growing in your fields.
  1. 耶和華對摩西說、你進去見法老、我使他和他臣僕的心剛硬、為要在他們中間顯我這些神蹟.
  2. 並要叫你將我向埃及人所作的事、和在他們中間所行的神蹟、傳於你兒子和你孫子的耳中、好叫你們知道我是耶和華。
  3. 摩西亞倫就進去見法老、對他說、耶和華希伯來人的 神、這樣說、你在我面前不肯自卑、要到幾時呢、容我的百姓去、好事奉我。
  4. 你若不肯容我的百姓去、明天我要使蝗蟲進入你的境內、
  5. 遮滿地面、甚至看不見地、並且喫那冰雹所剩的、和田間所長的一切樹木。
 
 
  1. They will fill your houses and those of all your officials and all the Egyptians--something neither your fathers nor your forefathers have ever seen from the day they settled in this land till now.' " Then Moses turned and left Pharaoh.
  2. Pharaoh's officials said to him, "How long will this man be a snare to us? Let the people go, so that they may worship the LORD their God. Do you not yet realize that Egypt is ruined?"
  3. Then Moses and Aaron were brought back to Pharaoh. "Go, worship the LORD your God," he said. "But just who will be going?"
  4. Moses answered, "We will go with our young and old, with our sons and daughters, and with our flocks and herds, because we are to celebrate a festival to the LORD."
  5. Pharaoh said, "The LORD be with you--if I let you go, along with your women and children! Clearly you are bent on evil.
  1. 你的宮殿和你眾臣僕的房屋、並一切埃及人的房屋、都要被蝗蟲佔滿了、自從你祖宗和你祖宗的祖宗在世以來、直到今日、沒有見過這樣的災。摩西就轉身離開法老出去。
  2. 法老的臣僕對法老說、這人為我們的網羅、要到幾時呢、容這些人去、事奉耶和華他們的 神罷.埃及已經敗壞了、你還不知道麼。
  3. 於是摩西亞倫被召回來見法老、法老對他們說、你們去事奉耶和華你們的 神、但那要去的是誰呢。
  4. 摩西說、我們要和我們老的少的、兒子女兒同去、且把羊群牛群一同帶去、因為我們務要向耶和華守節。
  5. 法老對他們說、我容你們和你們婦人孩子去的時候、耶和華與你們同在罷.你們要謹慎、因為有禍在你們眼前、〔或作你們存著惡意〕
 
 
  1. No! Have only the men go; and worship the LORD, since that's what you have been asking for." Then Moses and Aaron were driven out of Pharaoh's presence.
  2. And the LORD said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand over Egypt so that locusts will swarm over the land and devour everything growing in the fields, everything left by the hail."
  3. So Moses stretched out his staff over Egypt, and the LORD made an east wind blow across the land all that day and all that night. By morning the wind had brought the locusts;
  4. they invaded all Egypt and settled down in every area of the country in great numbers. Never before had there been such a plague of locusts, nor will there ever be again.
  5. They covered all the ground until it was black. They devoured all that was left after the hail--everything growing in the fields and the fruit on the trees. Nothing green remained on tree or plant in all the land of Egypt.
  1. 不可都去、你們這壯年人去事奉耶和華罷、因為這是你們所求的.於是把他們從法老面前攆出去。
  2. 耶和華對摩西說、你向埃及地伸杖、使蝗蟲到埃及地上來、喫地上一切的菜蔬、就是冰雹所剩的。
  3. 摩西就向埃及地伸杖、那一晝一夜、耶和華使東風颳在埃及地上、到了早晨、東風把蝗蟲颳了來。
  4. 蝗蟲上來、落在埃及的四境、甚是利害、以前沒有這樣的、以後也必沒有。
  5. 因為這蝗蟲遮滿地面、甚至地都黑暗了、又喫地上一切的菜蔬、和冰雹所剩樹上的果子。埃及遍地、無論是樹木、是田間的菜蔬、連一點青的也沒有留下。
 
 
  1. Pharaoh quickly summoned Moses and Aaron and said, "I have sinned against the LORD your God and against you.
  2. Now forgive my sin once more and pray to the LORD your God to take this deadly plague away from me."
  3. Moses then left Pharaoh and prayed to the LORD.
  4. And the LORD changed the wind to a very strong west wind, which caught up the locusts and carried them into the Red Sea. Not a locust was left anywhere in Egypt.
  5. But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he would not let the Israelites go.
  1. 於是法老急忙召了摩西亞倫來、說、我得罪耶和華你們的 神、又得罪了你們。
  2. 現在求你、只這一次、饒恕我的罪、求耶和華你們的 神、使我脫離這一次的死亡。
  3. 摩西就離開法老去求耶和華。
  4. 耶和華轉了極大的西風、把蝗蟲颳起、吹入紅海、在埃及的四境連一個也沒有留下。
  5. 但耶和華使法老的心剛硬、不容以色列人去。
 
 
  1. Then the LORD said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand toward the sky so that darkness will spread over Egypt--darkness that can be felt."
  2. So Moses stretched out his hand toward the sky, and total darkness covered all Egypt for three days.
  3. No one could see anyone else or leave his place for three days. Yet all the Israelites had light in the places where they lived.
  4. Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and said, "Go, worship the LORD. Even your women and children may go with you; only leave your flocks and herds behind."
  5. But Moses said, "You must allow us to have sacrifices and burnt offerings to present to the LORD our God.
  1. 耶和華對摩西說、你向天伸杖、使埃及地黑暗、這黑暗似乎摸得著。
  2. 摩西向天伸杖、埃及遍地就烏黑了三天。
  3. 三天之久、人不能相見、誰也不敢起來離開本處、惟有以色列人家中都有亮光。
  4. 法老就召摩西來、說、你們去事奉耶和華、只是你們的羊群牛群要留下、你們的婦人孩子可以和你們同去。
  5. 摩西說、你總要把祭物和燔祭牲交給我們、使我們可以祭祀耶和華我們的 神。
 
 
  1. Our livestock too must go with us; not a hoof is to be left behind. We have to use some of them in worshiping the LORD our God, and until we get there we will not know what we are to use to worship the LORD."
  2. But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he was not willing to let them go.
  3. Pharaoh said to Moses, "Get out of my sight! Make sure you do not appear before me again! The day you see my face you will die."
  4. "Just as you say," Moses replied, "I will never appear before you again."
  1. 我們的牲畜也要帶去、連一蹄也不留下、因為我們要從其中取出來、事奉耶和華我們的 神.我們未到那裡、還不知道用甚麼事奉耶和華。
  2. 但耶和華使法老的心剛硬、不肯容他們去。
  3. 法老對摩西說、你離開我去罷、你要小心、不要再見我的面、因為你見我面的那日、你就必死。
  4. 摩西說、你說得好、我必不再見你的面了。
