以賽亞書 9 [繁體:NIV]   
 
  1. 但那受過痛苦的、必不再見幽暗。從前　神使西布倫地、和拿弗他利地被藐視．末後卻使這沿海的路、約但河外、外邦人的加利利地、得著榮耀。
  2. 在黑暗中行走的百姓、看見了大光．住在死蔭之地的人、有光照耀他們。
  3. 你使這國民繁多、加增他們的喜樂．他們在你面前歡喜、好像收割的歡喜、像人分擄物那樣的快樂。
  4. 因為他們所負的重軛、和肩頭上的杖、並欺壓他們人的棍、你都已經折斷、好像在米甸的日子一樣。
  5. 戰士在亂殺之間所穿戴的盔甲、並那輥在血中的衣服、都必作為可燒的、當作火柴。
  1. Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress. In the past he humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the future he will honor Galilee of the Gentiles, by the way of the sea, along the Jordan-
  2. The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.
  3. You have enlarged the nation and increased their joy; they rejoice before you as people rejoice at the harvest, as men rejoice when dividing the plunder.
  4. For as in the day of Midian's defeat, you have shattered the yoke that burdens them, the bar across their shoulders, the rod of their oppressor.
  5. Every warrior's boot used in battle and every garment rolled in blood will be destined for burning, will be fuel for the fire.
 
 
  1. 因有一嬰孩為我們而生、有一子賜給我們．政權必擔在他的肩頭上．他名稱為奇妙、策士、全能的　神、永在的父、和平的君。
  2. 他的政權與平安必加增無窮．他必在大衛的寶座上、治理他的國、以公平公義使國堅定穩固、從今直到永遠。萬軍之耶和華的熱心、必成就這事。
  3. 主使一言入於雅各家、落於以色列家。
  4. 這眾百姓、就是以法蓮、和撒瑪利亞的居民、都要知道．他們憑驕傲自大的心說、
  5. 磚牆塌了、我們卻要鑿石頭建築、桑樹砍了、我們卻要換香柏樹。
  1. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
  2. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.
  3. The Lord has sent a message against Jacob; it will fall on Israel.
  4. All the people will know it-- Ephraim and the inhabitants of Samaria-- who say with pride and arrogance of heart,
  5. "The bricks have fallen down, but we will rebuild with dressed stone; the fig trees have been felled, but we will replace them with cedars."
 
 
  1. 因此、耶和華要高舉利汛的敵人、來攻擊以色列、並要激動以色列的仇敵、
  2. 東有亞蘭人、西有非利士人．他們張口要吞喫以色列．雖然如此、耶和華的怒氣還未轉消、他的手仍伸不縮。
  3. 這百姓還沒有歸向擊打他們的主、也沒有尋求萬軍之耶和華。
  4. 因此、耶和華一日之間、必從以色列中剪除頭與尾、棕枝與蘆葦。
  5. 長老和尊貴人、就是頭．以謊言教人的先知、就是尾。
  1. But the LORD has strengthened Rezin's foes against them and has spurred their enemies on.
  2. Arameans from the east and Philistines from the west have devoured Israel with open mouth. Yet for all this, his anger is not turned away, his hand is still upraised.
  3. But the people have not returned to him who struck them, nor have they sought the LORD Almighty.
  4. So the LORD will cut off from Israel both head and tail, both palm branch and reed in a single day;
  5. the elders and prominent men are the head, the prophets who teach lies are the tail.
 
 
  1. 因為引導這百姓的、使他們走錯了路．被引導的、都必敗亡。
  2. 所以主必不喜悅他們的少年人、也不憐恤他們的孤兒寡婦．因為各人是褻瀆的、是行惡的、並且各人的口、都說愚妄的話．雖然如此、耶和華的怒氣還未轉消、他的手仍伸不縮。
  3. 邪惡像火焚燒、燒滅荊棘和蒺藜．在稠密的樹林中冲起來、就成為煙柱、旋轉上騰。
  4. 因萬軍之耶和華的烈怒、地都燒遍．百姓成為火柴、無人憐愛弟兄。
  5. 有人右邊搶奪、仍受飢餓．左邊吞喫、仍不飽足．各人喫自己膀臂上的肉。
  1. Those who guide this people mislead them, and those who are guided are led astray.
  2. Therefore the Lord will take no pleasure in the young men, nor will he pity the fatherless and widows, for everyone is ungodly and wicked, every mouth speaks vileness. Yet for all this, his anger is not turned away, his hand is still upraised.
  3. Surely wickedness burns like a fire; it consumes briers and thorns, it sets the forest thickets ablaze, so that it rolls upward in a column of smoke.
  4. By the wrath of the LORD Almighty the land will be scorched and the people will be fuel for the fire; no one will spare his brother.
  5. On the right they will devour, but still be hungry; on the left they will eat, but not be satisfied. Each will feed on the flesh of his own offspring :
 
 
  1. 瑪拿西吞喫〔或作攻擊下同〕以法蓮．以法蓮吞喫瑪拿西．又一同攻擊猶大．雖然如此、耶和華的怒氣還未轉消、他的手仍伸不縮。
  1. Manasseh will feed on Ephraim, and Ephraim on Manasseh; together they will turn against Judah. Yet for all this, his anger is not turned away, his hand is still upraised.
