  1. The oracle concerning Moab Surely in a night Ar of Moab is devastated and ruined; Surely in a night Kir of Moab is devastated and ruined.
  2. They have gone up to the temple and to Dibon, even to the high places to weep Moab wails over Nebo and Medeba; Everyone's head is bald and every beard is cut off.
  3. In their streets they have girded themselves with sackcloth; On their housetops and in their squares Everyone is wailing, dissolved in tears.
  4. Heshbon and Elealeh also cry out, Their voice is heard all the way to Jahaz; Therefore the armed men of Moab cry aloud; His soul trembles within him.
  5. My heart cries out for Moab; His fugitives are as far as Zoar and Eglath-shelishiyah, For they go up the ascent of Luhith weeping; Surely on the road to Horonaim they raise a cry of distress over their ruin.
  1. 論摩押的默示。一夜之間、摩押的亞珥、變為荒廢、歸於無有．一夜之間、摩押的基珥、變為荒廢、歸於無有．
  2. 他們上巴益、又往底本、到高處去哭泣．摩押人因尼波和米底巴哀號、各人頭上光禿、鬍鬚剃淨。
  3. 他們在街市上都腰束麻布、在房頂上和寬闊處、俱各哀號、眼淚汪汪。
  4. 希實本和以利亞利悲哀的聲音、達到雅雜．所以摩押帶兵器的高聲喊嚷．人心戰兢。
  5. 我心為摩押悲哀．他的貴冑、〔或作逃民〕逃到瑣珥、到伊基拉、施利施亞．他們上魯希坡隨走隨哭．在何羅念的路上、因毀滅舉起哀聲。
 
 
  1. For the waters of Nimrim are desolate Surely the grass is withered, the tender grass died out, There is no green thing.
  2. Therefore the abundance which they have acquired and stored up They carry off over the brook of Arabim.
  3. For the cry of distress has gone around the territory of Moab, Its wail goes as far as Eglaim and its wailing even to Beer-elim.
  4. For the waters of Dimon are full of blood; Surely I will bring added woes upon Dimon, A lion upon the fugitives of Moab and upon the remnant of the land.
  1. 因為寧林的水成為乾涸．青草枯乾、嫩草滅沒、青綠之物、一無所有。
  2. 因此、摩押人所得的財物、和所積蓄的、都要運過柳樹河。
  3. 哀聲遍聞摩押的四境．哀號的聲音、達到以基蓮．哀號的聲音、達到比珥以琳。
  4. 底們的水充滿了血．我還要加增底們的災難、叫獅子來追上摩押逃脫的民、和那地上所餘剩的人。
