以賽亞書 38 [繁體:NIV]   
 
  1. 那時希西家病得要死、亞摩斯的兒子先知以賽亞去見他、對他說、耶和華如此說、你當留遺命與你的家、因為你必死不能活了。
  2. 希西家就轉臉朝牆、禱告耶和華說、
  3. 耶和華阿、求你記念我在你面前怎樣存完全的心、按誠實行事、又作你眼中所看為善的.希西家就痛哭了。
  4. 耶和華的話臨到以賽亞說、
  5. 你去告訴希西家說、耶和華你祖大衛的 神如此說、我聽見了你的禱告、看見了你的眼淚、我必加增你十五年的壽數.
  1. In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, "This is what the LORD says: Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover."
  2. Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD,
  3. "Remember, O LORD, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes." And Hezekiah wept bitterly.
  4. Then the word of the LORD came to Isaiah:
  5. "Go and tell Hezekiah, 'This is what the LORD, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will add fifteen years to your life.
 
 
  1. 並且我要救你和這城脫離亞述王的手、也要保護這城。
  2. 我耶和華必成就我所說的、我先給你一個兆頭.
  3. 就是叫亞哈斯的日晷、向前進的日影往後退十度.於是前進的日影、果然在日晷上往後退了十度。
  4. 猶大王希西家患病已經痊愈、就作詩說、
  5. 我說、正在我中年〔或作晌午〕之日、必進入陰間的門.我餘剩的年歲不得享受。
  1. And I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city.
  2. " 'This is the LORD's sign to you that the LORD will do what he has promised:
  3. I will make the shadow cast by the sun go back the ten steps it has gone down on the stairway of Ahaz.' " So the sunlight went back the ten steps it had gone down.
  4. A writing of Hezekiah king of Judah after his illness and recovery:
  5. I said, "In the prime of my life must I go through the gates of death and be robbed of the rest of my years?"
 
 
  1. 我說、我必不得見耶和華、就是在活人之地不見耶和華.我與世上的居民不再見面。
  2. 我的住處被遷去離開我、好像牧人的帳棚一樣.我將性命捲起、像織布的捲布一樣.耶和華必將我從機頭剪斷、從早到晚、他要使我完結。
  3. 我使自己安靜直到天亮.他像獅子折斷我一切的骨頭、從早到晚、他要使我完結。
  4. 我像燕子呢喃.像白鶴鳴叫.又像鴿子哀鳴.我因仰觀、眼睛困倦.耶和華阿、我受欺壓、求你為我作保。
  5. 我可說甚麼呢、他應許我的、也給我成就了.我因心裡的苦楚、在一生的年日、必悄悄而行。
  1. I said, "I will not again see the LORD, the LORD, in the land of the living; no longer will I look on mankind, or be with those who now dwell in this world.
  2. Like a shepherd's tent my house has been pulled down and taken from me. Like a weaver I have rolled up my life, and he has cut me off from the loom; day and night you made an end of me.
  3. I waited patiently till dawn, but like a lion he broke all my bones; day and night you made an end of me.
  4. I cried like a swift or thrush, I moaned like a mourning dove. My eyes grew weak as I looked to the heavens. I am troubled; O Lord, come to my aid!"
  5. But what can I say? He has spoken to me, and he himself has done this. I will walk humbly all my years because of this anguish of my soul.
 
 
  1. 主阿、人得存活、乃在乎此.我靈存活、也全在此。所以求你使我痊愈、仍然存活。
  2. 看哪、我受大苦、本為使我得平安、你因愛我的靈魂、〔或作生命〕便救我脫離敗壞的坑、因為你將我一切的罪、扔在你的背後。
  3. 原來陰間不能稱謝你、死亡不能頌揚你、下坑的人不能盼望你的誠實.
  4. 只有活人、活人必稱謝你、像我今日稱謝你一樣.為父的、必使兒女知道你的誠實。
  5. 耶和華肯救我、所以我們要一生一世、在耶和華殿中用絲絃的樂器、唱我的詩歌。
  1. Lord, by such things men live; and my spirit finds life in them too. You restored me to health and let me live.
  2. Surely it was for my benefit that I suffered such anguish. In your love you kept me from the pit of destruction; you have put all my sins behind your back.
  3. For the grave cannot praise you, death cannot sing your praise; those who go down to the pit cannot hope for your faithfulness.
  4. The living, the living--they praise you, as I am doing today; fathers tell their children about your faithfulness.
  5. The LORD will save me, and we will sing with stringed instruments all the days of our lives in the temple of the LORD.
 
 
  1. 以賽亞說、當取一塊無花果餅來、貼在瘡上、王必痊愈。
  2. 希西家問說、我能上耶和華的殿、有甚麼兆頭呢。
  1. Isaiah had said, "Prepare a poultice of figs and apply it to the boil, and he will recover."
  2. Hezekiah had asked, "What will be the sign that I will go up to the temple of the LORD ?"
