  1. Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.
  2. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that she has received from the LORD's hand double for all her sins.
  3. A voice of one calling: "In the desert prepare the way for the LORD ; make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God.
  4. Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain.
  5. And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. For the mouth of the LORD has spoken."
  1. 你們的 神說、你們要安慰、安慰我的百姓。
  2. 要對耶路撒冷說安慰的話、又向他宣告說、他爭戰的日子已滿了、他的罪孽赦免了、他為自己的一切罪、從耶和華手中加倍受罰。
  3. 有人聲喊著說、在曠野豫備耶和華的路、〔或作在曠野有人聲喊著說當豫備耶和華的路〕在沙漠地修平我們 神的道。
  4. 一切山窪都要填滿、大小山岡都要削平、高高低低的要改為平坦、崎崎嶇嶇的必成為平原。
  5. 耶和華的榮耀必然顯現、凡有血氣的、必一同看見、因為這是耶和華親口說的。
 
 
  1. A voice says, "Cry out." And I said, "What shall I cry?" "All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field.
  2. The grass withers and the flowers fall, because the breath of the LORD blows on them. Surely the people are grass.
  3. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever."
  4. You who bring good tidings to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who bring good tidings to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with a shout, lift it up, do not be afraid; say to the towns of Judah, "Here is your God!"
  5. See, the Sovereign LORD comes with power, and his arm rules for him. See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him.
  1. 有人聲說、你喊叫罷.有一個說、我喊叫甚麼呢.說、凡有血氣的、盡都如草、他的美容、都像野地的花。
  2. 草必枯乾、花必凋殘、因為耶和華的氣吹在其上.百姓誠然是草。
  3. 草必枯乾、花必凋殘、惟有我們 神的話、必永遠立定。
  4. 報好信息給錫安的阿、你要登高山.報好信息給耶路撒冷的阿、你要極力揚聲.揚聲不要懼怕、對猶大的城邑說、看哪、你們的 神。
  5. 主耶和華必像大能者臨到、他的膀臂必為他掌權.他的賞賜在他那裡、他的報應在他面前。
 
 
  1. He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.
  2. Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, or with the breadth of his hand marked off the heavens? Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket, or weighed the mountains on the scales and the hills in a balance?
  3. Who has understood the mind of the LORD, or instructed him as his counselor?
  4. Whom did the LORD consult to enlighten him, and who taught him the right way? Who was it that taught him knowledge or showed him the path of understanding?
  5. Surely the nations are like a drop in a bucket; they are regarded as dust on the scales; he weighs the islands as though they were fine dust.
  1. 他必像牧人牧養自己的羊群、用膀臂聚集羊羔抱在懷中、慢慢引導那乳養小羊的。
  2. 誰曾用手心量諸水、用手虎口量蒼天、用升斗盛大地的塵土、用秤稱山嶺、用天平平岡陵呢。
  3. 誰曾測度耶和華的心、〔或作誰曾指示耶和華的靈〕、或作他的謀士指教他呢。
  4. 他與誰商議、誰教導他、誰將公平的路指示他、又將知識教訓他、將通達的道指教他呢。
  5. 看哪、萬民都像水桶的一滴、又算如天平上的微塵.他舉起眾海島、好像極微之物。
 
 
  1. Lebanon is not sufficient for altar fires, nor its animals enough for burnt offerings.
  2. Before him all the nations are as nothing; they are regarded by him as worthless and less than nothing.
  3. To whom, then, will you compare God? What image will you compare him to?
  4. As for an idol, a craftsman casts it, and a goldsmith overlays it with gold and fashions silver chains for it.
  5. A man too poor to present such an offering selects wood that will not rot. He looks for a skilled craftsman to set up an idol that will not topple.
  1. 利巴嫩的樹林不彀當柴燒、其中的走獸也不彀作燔祭。
  2. 萬民在他面前好像虛無、被他看為不及虛無、乃為虛空。
  3. 你們究竟將誰比 神、用甚麼形像與 神比較呢。
  4. 偶像是匠人鑄造、銀匠用金包裹、為他鑄造銀鍊。
  5. 窮乏獻不起這樣供物的、就揀選不能朽壞的樹木、為自己尋找巧匠、立起不能搖動的偶像。
 
 
  1. Do you not know? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood since the earth was founded?
  2. He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in.
  3. He brings princes to naught and reduces the rulers of this world to nothing.
  4. No sooner are they planted, no sooner are they sown, no sooner do they take root in the ground, than he blows on them and they wither, and a whirlwind sweeps them away like chaff.
  5. "To whom will you compare me? Or who is my equal?" says the Holy One.
  1. 你們豈不曾知道麼、你們豈不曾聽見麼、從起初豈沒有人告訴你們麼、自從立地的根基、你們豈沒有明白麼。
  2.  神坐在地球大圈之上、地上的居民好像蝗蟲.他鋪張穹蒼如幔子、展開諸天如可住的帳棚。
  3. 他使君王歸於虛無、使地上的審判官成為虛空。
  4. 他們是剛纔栽上、〔剛纔或作不曾下同〕剛纔種上、根也剛纔扎在地裡、他一吹在其上、便都枯乾、旋風將他們吹去、像碎秸一樣。
  5. 那聖者說、你們將誰比我、叫他與我相等呢。
 
 
  1. Lift your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one, and calls them each by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.
  2. Why do you say, O Jacob, and complain, O Israel, "My way is hidden from the LORD; my cause is disregarded by my God"?
  3. Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.
  4. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
  5. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
  1. 你們向上舉目、看誰創造這萬象、按數目領出、他一一稱其名.因他的權能、又因他的大能大力、連一個都不缺。
  2. 雅各阿、你為何說、我的道路向耶和華隱藏.以色列阿、你為何言、我的冤屈 神並不查問。
  3. 你豈不曾知道麼、你豈不曾聽見麼、永在的 神耶和華、創造地極的主、並不疲乏、也不困倦.他的智慧無法測度。
  4. 疲乏的、他賜能力.軟弱的、他加力量.
  5. 就是少年人也要疲乏困倦、強壯的也必全然跌倒.
 
 
  1. but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
  1. 但那等候耶和華的、必從新得力、他們必如鷹展翅上騰、他們奔跑卻不困倦、行走卻不疲乏。
