Jeremiah 35 [KJV:繁體]   
 
  1. The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying,
  2. Go unto the house of the Rechabites, and speak unto them, and bring them into the house of the LORD, into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink.
  3. Then I took Jaazaniah the son of Jeremiah, the son of Habaziniah, and his brethren, and all his sons, and the whole house of the Rechabites;
  4. And I brought them into the house of the LORD, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door:
  5. And I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites pots full of wine, and cups, and I said unto them, Drink ye wine.
  1. 當猶大王約西亞之子約雅敬的時候、耶和華的話臨到耶利米說、
  2. 你去見利甲族的人、和他們說話、領他們進入耶和華殿的一間屋子、給他們酒喝．
  3. 我就將哈巴洗尼雅的孫子雅利米雅的兒子雅撒尼亞、和他弟兄、並他眾子、以及利甲全族的人、
  4. 領到耶和華的殿、進入神人伊基大利的兒子哈難眾子的屋子．那屋子在首領的屋子旁邊、在沙龍之子把門的瑪西雅屋子以上。
  5. 於是我在利甲族人面前設擺盛滿酒的碗和杯、對他們說、請你們喝酒。
 
 
  1. But they said, We will drink no wine: for Jonadab the son of Rechab our father commanded us, saying, Ye shall drink no wine, neither ye, nor your sons for ever:
  2. Neither shall ye build house, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyard, nor have any: but all your days ye shall dwell in tents; that ye may live many days in the land where ye be strangers.
  3. Thus have we obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab our father in all that he hath charged us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, nor our daughters;
  4. Nor to build houses for us to dwell in: neither have we vineyard, nor field, nor seed:
  5. But we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed, and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us.
  1. 他們卻說、我們不喝酒．因為我們先祖利甲的兒子約拿達曾吩咐我們說、你們與你們的子孫、永不可喝酒．
  2. 也不可蓋房、撒種、栽種葡萄園．但一生的年日要住帳棚、使你們的日子在寄居之地得以延長。
  3. 凡我們先祖利甲的兒子約拿達所吩咐我們的話、我們都聽從了．我們和我們的妻子兒女、一生的年日、都不喝酒．
  4. 也不蓋房居住．也沒有葡萄園、田地、和種子．
  5. 但住帳棚、聽從我們先祖約拿達的話、照他所吩咐我們的去行。
 
 
  1. But it came to pass, when Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came up into the land, that we said, Come, and let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans, and for fear of the army of the Syrians: so we dwell at Jerusalem.
  2. Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,
  3. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will ye not receive instruction to hearken to my words? saith the LORD.
  4. The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, that he commanded his sons not to drink wine, are performed; for unto this day they drink none, but obey their father's commandment: notwithstanding I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye hearkened not unto me.
  5. I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me.
  1. 巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒上此地來、我們因怕迦勒底的軍隊、和亞蘭的軍隊、就說、來罷、我們到耶路撒冷去．這樣、我們纔住在耶路撒冷。
  2. 耶和華的話臨到耶利米說、
  3. 萬軍之耶和華以色列的　神如此說、你去對猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民說、耶和華說、你們不受教訓、不聽從我的話麼。
  4. 利甲的兒子約拿達所吩咐他子孫不可喝酒的話、他們已經遵守、直到今日也不喝酒、因為他們聽從先祖的吩咐。我從早起來警戒你們、你們卻不聽從我。
  5. 我從早起來、差遣我的僕人眾先知去、說、你們各人當回頭離開惡道、改正行為、不隨從事奉別神、就必住在我所賜給你們和你們列祖的地上．只是你們沒有聽從我、也沒有側耳而聽。
 
 
  1. Because the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have performed the commandment of their father, which he commanded them; but this people hath not hearkened unto me:
  2. Therefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have not heard; and I have called unto them, but they have not answered.
  3. And Jeremiah said unto the house of the Rechabites, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Because ye have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your father, and kept all his precepts, and done according unto all that he hath commanded you:
  4. Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not want a man to stand before me for ever.
  1. 利甲的兒子約拿達的子孫、能遵守先人所吩咐他們的命、這百姓卻沒有聽從我．
  2. 因此、耶和華萬軍之　神以色列的　神如此說、我要使我所說的一切災禍臨到猶大人、和耶路撒冷的一切居民．因為我對他們說話、他們沒有聽從、我呼喚他們、他們沒有答應。
  3. 耶利米對利甲族的人說、萬軍之耶和華以色列的　神如此說、因你們聽從你們先祖約拿達的吩咐、謹守他的一切誡命、照他所吩咐你們的去行．
  4. 所以萬軍之耶和華以色列的　神如此說、利甲的兒子約拿達必永不缺人侍立在我面前。
