Jeremiah 44 [NIV:繁體]   
 
  1. This word came to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews living in Lower Egypt--in Migdol, Tahpanhes and Memphis --and in Upper Egypt :
  2. "This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: You saw the great disaster I brought on Jerusalem and on all the towns of Judah. Today they lie deserted and in ruins
  3. because of the evil they have done. They provoked me to anger by burning incense and by worshiping other gods that neither they nor you nor your fathers ever knew.
  4. Again and again I sent my servants the prophets, who said, 'Do not do this detestable thing that I hate!'
  5. But they did not listen or pay attention; they did not turn from their wickedness or stop burning incense to other gods.
  1. 有臨到耶利米的話、論及一切住在埃及地的猶大人、就是住在密奪、答比匿、挪弗、巴忒羅境內的猶大人說、
  2. 萬軍之耶和華以色列的　神如此說、我所降與耶路撒冷、和猶大各城的一切災禍、你們都看見了．那些城邑今日荒涼、無人居住．
  3. 這是因居民所行的惡、去燒香事奉別神、就是他們、和你們、並你們列祖所不認識的神、惹我發怒。
  4. 我從早起來差遣我的僕人眾先知去說、你們切不要行我所厭惡這可憎之事。
  5. 他們卻不聽從、不側耳而聽、不轉離惡事、仍向別神燒香。
 
 
  1. Therefore, my fierce anger was poured out; it raged against the towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem and made them the desolate ruins they are today.
  2. "Now this is what the LORD God Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Why bring such great disaster on yourselves by cutting off from Judah the men and women, the children and infants, and so leave yourselves without a remnant?
  3. Why provoke me to anger with what your hands have made, burning incense to other gods in Egypt, where you have come to live? You will destroy yourselves and make yourselves an object of cursing and reproach among all the nations on earth.
  4. Have you forgotten the wickedness committed by your fathers and by the kings and queens of Judah and the wickedness committed by you and your wives in the land of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem?
  5. To this day they have not humbled themselves or shown reverence, nor have they followed my law and the decrees I set before you and your fathers.
  1. 因此、我的怒氣和忿怒都倒出來、在猶大城邑中、和耶路撒冷的街市上、如火冲起、以致都荒廢淒涼、正如今日一樣。
  2. 現在耶和華萬軍之　神、以色列的　神如此說、你們為何作這大惡自害己命、使你們的男人、婦女、嬰孩、和喫奶的、都從猶大中剪除、不留一人呢．
  3. 就是因你們手所作的、在所去寄居的埃及地、向別神燒香惹我發怒、使你們被剪除、在天下萬國中令人咒詛羞辱。
  4. 你們列祖的惡行、猶大列王和他們后妃的惡行、你們自己和你們妻子的惡行、就是在猶大地、耶路撒冷街上所行的、你們都忘了麼。
  5. 到如今還沒有懊悔、沒有懼怕、沒有遵行我在你們和你們列祖面前所設立的法度律例。
 
 
  1. "Therefore, this is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: I am determined to bring disaster on you and to destroy all Judah.
  2. I will take away the remnant of Judah who were determined to go to Egypt to settle there. They will all perish in Egypt; they will fall by the sword or die from famine. From the least to the greatest, they will die by sword or famine. They will become an object of cursing and horror, of condemnation and reproach.
  3. I will punish those who live in Egypt with the sword, famine and plague, as I punished Jerusalem.
  4. None of the remnant of Judah who have gone to live in Egypt will escape or survive to return to the land of Judah, to which they long to return and live; none will return except a few fugitives."
  5. Then all the men who knew that their wives were burning incense to other gods, along with all the women who were present--a large assembly--and all the people living in Lower and Upper Egypt, said to Jeremiah,
  1. 所以萬軍之耶和華以色列的　神如此說、我必向你們變臉降災、以致剪除猶大眾人。
  2. 那定意進入埃及地、在那裡寄居的、就是所剩下的猶大人、我必使他們盡都滅絕．必在埃及地仆倒、必因刀劍飢荒滅絕．從最小的、到至大的、都必遭刀劍飢荒而死、以致令人辱罵、驚駭、咒詛、羞辱。
  3. 我怎樣用刀劍、飢荒、瘟疫、刑罰耶路撒冷、也必照樣刑罰那些住在埃及地的猶大人．
  4. 甚至那進入埃及地寄居的、就是所剩下的猶大人、都不得逃脫、也不得存留歸回猶大地、他們心中甚想歸回居住之地．除了逃脫的以外、一個都不能歸回。
  5. 那些住在埃及地巴忒羅知道自己妻子向別神燒香的、與旁邊站立的眾婦女聚集成群、回答耶利米說、
 
 
  1. "We will not listen to the message you have spoken to us in the name of the LORD!
  2. We will certainly do everything we said we would: We will burn incense to the Queen of Heaven and will pour out drink offerings to her just as we and our fathers, our kings and our officials did in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. At that time we had plenty of food and were well off and suffered no harm.
  3. But ever since we stopped burning incense to the Queen of Heaven and pouring out drink offerings to her, we have had nothing and have been perishing by sword and famine."
  4. The women added, "When we burned incense to the Queen of Heaven and poured out drink offerings to her, did not our husbands know that we were making cakes like her image and pouring out drink offerings to her?"
  5. Then Jeremiah said to all the people, both men and women, who were answering him,
  1. 論到你奉耶和華的名向我們所說的話、我們必不聽從。
  2. 我們定要成就我們口中所出的一切話、向天后燒香、澆奠祭按著我們與我們列祖、君王、首領、在猶大的城邑中、和耶路撒冷的街市上、素常所行的一樣．因為那時我們喫飽飯、享福樂、並不見災禍。
  3. 自從我們停止向天后燒香、澆奠祭、我們倒缺乏一切．又因刀劍飢荒滅絕。
  4. 婦女說、我們向天后燒香、澆奠祭、作天后像的餅供奉他、向他澆奠祭、是外乎我們的丈夫麼。
  5. 耶利米對一切那樣回答他的男人婦女說、
 
 
  1. "Did not the LORD remember and think about the incense burned in the towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem by you and your fathers, your kings and your officials and the people of the land?
  2. When the LORD could no longer endure your wicked actions and the detestable things you did, your land became an object of cursing and a desolate waste without inhabitants, as it is today.
  3. Because you have burned incense and have sinned against the LORD and have not obeyed him or followed his law or his decrees or his stipulations, this disaster has come upon you, as you now see."
  4. Then Jeremiah said to all the people, including the women, "Hear the word of the LORD, all you people of Judah in Egypt.
  5. This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: You and your wives have shown by your actions what you promised when you said, 'We will certainly carry out the vows we made to burn incense and pour out drink offerings to the Queen of Heaven.' "Go ahead then, do what you promised! Keep your vows!
  1. 你們與你們列祖、君王、首領、並國內的百姓、在猶大城邑中、和耶路撒冷街市上所燒的香、耶和華豈不記念、心中豈不思想麼。
  2. 耶和華因你們所作的惡、所行可憎的事、不能再容忍．所以你們的地荒涼、令人驚駭、咒詛、無人居住、正如今日一樣。
  3. 你們燒香、得罪耶和華、沒有聽從他的話、沒有遵行他的律法、條例、法度．所以你們遭遇這災禍、正如今日一樣。
  4. 耶利米又對眾民和眾婦女說、你們在埃及地的一切猶大人、當聽耶和華的話．
  5. 萬軍之耶和華以色列的　神如此說、你們和你們的妻、都口中說、手裡作、說、我們定要償還所許的願、向天后燒香、澆奠祭．現在你們只管堅定所許的願而償還罷。
 
 
  1. But hear the word of the LORD, all Jews living in Egypt: 'I swear by my great name,' says the LORD, 'that no one from Judah living anywhere in Egypt will ever again invoke my name or swear, "As surely as the Sovereign LORD lives."
  2. For I am watching over them for harm, not for good; the Jews in Egypt will perish by sword and famine until they are all destroyed.
  3. Those who escape the sword and return to the land of Judah from Egypt will be very few. Then the whole remnant of Judah who came to live in Egypt will know whose word will stand--mine or theirs.
  4. " 'This will be the sign to you that I will punish you in this place,' declares the LORD, 'so that you will know that my threats of harm against you will surely stand.'
  5. This is what the LORD says: 'I am going to hand Pharaoh Hophra king of Egypt over to his enemies who seek his life, just as I handed Zedekiah king of Judah over to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, the enemy who was seeking his life.' "
  1. 所以你們住在埃及地的一切猶大人、當聽耶和華的話．耶和華說、我指著我的大名起誓、在埃及全地、我的名不再被猶大一個人的口稱呼、說、我指著主永生的耶和華起誓。
  2. 我向他們留意降禍不降福、在埃及地的一切猶大人必因刀劍飢荒所滅、直到滅盡。
  3. 脫離刀劍、從埃及地歸回猶大地的人數很少．那進入埃及地要在那裡寄居的、就是所剩下的猶大人、必知道是誰的話立得住、是我的話呢、是他們的話呢。
  4. 耶和華說、我在這地方刑罰你們、必有豫兆、使你們知道我降禍與你們的話、必要立得住。
  5. 耶和華如此說、我必將埃及王法老合弗拉交在他仇敵和尋索其命的人手中、像我將猶大王西底家交在他仇敵和尋索其命的巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒手中一樣。
