  1. "Put the trumpet to your lips! An eagle is over the house of the LORD because the people have broken my covenant and rebelled against my law.
  2. Israel cries out to me, 'O our God, we acknowledge you!'
  3. But Israel has rejected what is good; an enemy will pursue him.
  4. They set up kings without my consent; they choose princes without my approval. With their silver and gold they make idols for themselves to their own destruction.
  5. Throw out your calf-idol, O Samaria! My anger burns against them. How long will they be incapable of purity?
  1. 你用口吹角罷．敵人如鷹來攻打耶和華的家、因為這民違背我的約、干犯我的律法。
  2. 他們必呼叫我說、我的　神阿、我們以色列認識你了。
  3. 以色列丟棄良善、〔或作福分〕仇敵必追逼他。
  4. 他們立君王、卻不由我、他們立首領、我卻不認．他們用金銀為自己製造偶像、以致被剪除。
  5. 撒瑪利亞阿、耶和華已經丟棄你的牛犢．我的怒氣向拜牛犢的人發作．他們到幾時方能無罪呢。
 
 
  1. They are from Israel! This calf--a craftsman has made it; it is not God. It will be broken in pieces, that calf of Samaria.
  2. "They sow the wind and reap the whirlwind. The stalk has no head; it will produce no flour. Were it to yield grain, foreigners would swallow it up.
  3. Israel is swallowed up; now she is among the nations like a worthless thing.
  4. For they have gone up to Assyria like a wild donkey wandering alone. Ephraim has sold herself to lovers.
  5. Although they have sold themselves among the nations, I will now gather them together. They will begin to waste away under the oppression of the mighty king.
  1. 這牛犢出於以色列、是匠人所造的、並不是神．撒瑪利亞的牛犢、必被打碎。
  2. 他們所種的是風、所收的是暴風、．所種的不成禾稼、就是發苗也不結實、即便結實、外邦人必吞喫。
  3. 以色列被吞喫．現今在列國中、好像人不喜悅的器皿。
  4. 他們投奔亞述、如同獨行的野驢．以法蓮賄買朋黨。
  5. 他們雖在列邦中賄買人、現在我卻要聚集懲罰他們．他們因君王和首領所加的重擔、日漸衰微。
 
 
  1. "Though Ephraim built many altars for sin offerings, these have become altars for sinning.
  2. I wrote for them the many things of my law, but they regarded them as something alien.
  3. They offer sacrifices given to me and they eat the meat, but the LORD is not pleased with them. Now he will remember their wickedness and punish their sins: They will return to Egypt.
  4. Israel has forgotten his Maker and built palaces; Judah has fortified many towns. But I will send fire upon their cities that will consume their fortresses."
  1. 以法蓮增添祭壇取罪、因此、祭壇使他犯罪。
  2. 我為他寫了律法萬條、他卻以為與他毫無關涉。
  3. 至於獻給我的祭物、他們自食其肉、耶和華卻不悅納他們．現在必記念他們的罪孽、追討他們的罪惡、他們必歸回埃及。
  4. 以色列忘記造他的主、建造宮殿．猶大多造堅固城、我卻要降火焚燒他的城邑、燒滅其中的宮殿。
