  1. 當春雨的時候、你們要向發閃電的耶和華求雨．他必為眾人降下甘霖、使田園生長菜蔬。
  2. 因為家神所言的是虛空、卜士所見的是虛假、作夢者所說的是假夢．他們白白的安慰人．所以眾人如羊流離、因無牧人就受苦。
  3. 我的怒氣向牧人發作、我必懲罰公山羊．因我萬軍之耶和華眷顧自己的羊群、就是猶大家、必使他們如駿馬在陣上。
  4. 房角石、釘子、爭戰的弓、和一切掌權的、都從他而出。
  5. 他們必如勇士、在陣上將仇敵踐踏在街上的泥土中．他們必爭戰、因為耶和華與他們同在．騎馬的也必羞愧。
  1. Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.
  2. For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd.
  3. Mine anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: for the LORD of hosts hath visited his flock the house of Judah, and hath made them as his goodly horse in the battle.
  4. Out of him came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow, out of him every oppressor together.
  5. And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.
 
 
  1. 我要堅固猶大家、拯救約瑟家、要領他們歸回．我要憐恤他們．他們必像未曾棄絕的一樣．都因我是耶和華他們的　神．我必應允他們的禱告。
  2. 以法蓮人必如勇士．他們心中暢快如同喝酒．他們的兒女必看見而快活．他們的心必因耶和華喜樂。
  3. 我要發𠖎聲、聚集他們．因我已經救贖他們．他們的人數必加增、如從前加增一樣。
  4. 我雖然〔或作必〕播散他們在列國中、他們必在遠方記念我．他們與兒女都必存活、且得歸回。
  5. 我必再領他們出埃及地、招聚他們出亞述、領他們到基列和利巴嫩．這地尚且不彀他們居住。
  1. And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the LORD their God, and will hear them.
  2. And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the LORD.
  3. I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased.
  4. And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again.
  5. I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them.
 
 
  1. 耶和華必經過苦海、擊打海浪、使尼羅河的深處都枯乾．亞述的驕傲、必至卑微．埃及的權柄必然滅沒。
  2. 我必使他們倚靠我、得以堅固．一舉一動必奉我的名．這是耶和華說的。
  1. And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away.
  2. And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the LORD.
