  1. At that time Herod the tetrarch heard the reports about Jesus,
  2. and he said to his attendants, "This is John the Baptist; he has risen from the dead! That is why miraculous powers are at work in him."
  3. Now Herod had arrested John and bound him and put him in prison because of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife,
  4. for John had been saying to him: "It is not lawful for you to have her."
  5. Herod wanted to kill John, but he was afraid of the people, because they considered him a prophet.
  1. 那时分封的王希律,听见耶稣的名声,
  2. 就对臣仆说,这是施洗约翰从死里复活,所以这些异能从他里面发出来。
  3. 起先希律为他兄弟腓力的妻子希罗底的缘故,把约翰拿住锁在监里。
  4. 因为约翰曾对他说,你娶这妇人是不合理的。
  5. 希律就想要杀他,只是怕百姓。因为他们以约翰为先知。
 
 
  1. On Herod's birthday the daughter of Herodias danced for them and pleased Herod so much
  2. that he promised with an oath to give her whatever she asked.
  3. Prompted by her mother, she said, "Give me here on a platter the head of John the Baptist."
  4. The king was distressed, but because of his oaths and his dinner guests, he ordered that her request be granted
  5. and had John beheaded in the prison.
  1. 到了希律的生日,希罗底的女儿,在众人面前跳舞,使希律欢喜。
  2. 希律就起誓,应许随他所求的给他。
  3. 女儿被母亲所使,就说,请把施洗约翰的头,放在盘子里拿来给我。
  4. 王便忧愁,但因他所起的誓,又因同席的人,就吩咐给他。
  5. 于是打发人去,在监里斩了约翰。
 
 
  1. His head was brought in on a platter and given to the girl, who carried it to her mother.
  2. John's disciples came and took his body and buried it. Then they went and told Jesus.
  3. When Jesus heard what had happened, he withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place. Hearing of this, the crowds followed him on foot from the towns.
  4. When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick.
  5. As evening approached, the disciples came to him and said, "This is a remote place, and it's already getting late. Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food."
  1. 把头放在盘子里,拿来给了女子。女子拿去给他母亲。
  2. 约翰的门徒来,把尸首领去,埋葬了。就去告诉耶稣。
  3. 耶稣听见了,就上船从那里独自退到野地里去。众人听见,就从各城里步行跟随他。
  4. 耶稣出来,见有许多的人,就怜悯他们,治好了他们的病人。
  5. 天将晚的时候,门徒进前来说,这是野地,时候已经过了。请叫众人散开,他们好往村子里去,自己买吃的。
 
 
  1. Jesus replied, "They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat."
  2. "We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish," they answered.
  3. "Bring them here to me," he said.
  4. And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people.
  5. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.
  1. 耶稣说,不用他们去,你们给他们吃吧。
  2. 门徒说,我们这里只有五个饼,两条鱼。
  3. 耶稣说,拿过来给我。
  4. 于是吩咐众人坐在草地上。就拿着这五个饼,两条鱼,望着天,祝福,擘开饼,递给门徒。门徒又递给众人。
  5. 他们都吃,并且吃饱了。把剩下的零碎收拾起来,装满了十二个篮子。
 
 
  1. The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.
  2. Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd.
  3. After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone,
  4. but the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.
  5. During the fourth watch of the night Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake.
  1. 吃的人,除了妇女孩子,约有五千。
  2. 耶稣随既催门徒上船,先渡到那边去,等他叫众人散开。
  3. 散了众人以后,他就独自上山祷告。到了晚上,只有他一人在那里。
  4. 那时船在海中,因风不顺,被浪摇撼。
  5. 夜里四更天,耶稣在海面上走,往门徒那里去。
 
 
  1. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. "It's a ghost," they said, and cried out in fear.
  2. But Jesus immediately said to them: "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid."
  3. "Lord, if it's you," Peter replied, "tell me to come to you on the water."
  4. "Come," he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.
  5. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!"
  1. 门徒看见他在海面上走,就惊慌了,说,是个鬼怪。便害怕,喊叫起来。
  2. 耶稣连忙对他们说,你们放心。是我,不要怕。
  3. 彼得说,主,如果是你,请叫我从水面上走到你那里去。
  4. 耶稣说,你来吧。彼得就从船上下去,在水面上走,要到耶稣那里去。
  5. 只因见风甚大,就害怕。将要沉下去,便喊着说,主阿,救我。
 
 
  1. Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. "You of little faith," he said, "why did you doubt?"
  2. And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down.
  3. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, "Truly you are the Son of God."
  4. When they had crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret.
  5. And when the men of that place recognized Jesus, they sent word to all the surrounding country. People brought all their sick to him
  1. 耶稣赶紧伸手拉住他,说,你这小信的人哪,为什么疑惑呢。
  2. 他们上了船,风就住了。
  3. 在船上的人都拜他说,你真是神的儿子了。
  4. 他们过了海,来到革尼撒勒地方。
  5. 那里的人,一认出是耶稣,就打发人到周围地方去,把所有的病人,带到他那里。
 
 
  1. and begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched him were healed.
  1. 只求耶稣准他们摸他的衣裳??子,摸着的人,就都好了。
