  1. 当下,全会众大声喧囔。那夜百姓都哭号。
  2. 以色列众人向摩西,亚伦发怨言。全会众对他们说,巴不得我们早死在埃及地,或是死在这旷野。
  3. 耶和华为什么把我们领到那地,使我们倒在刀下呢,我们的妻子和孩子必被掳掠。我们回埃及去岂不好麽,
  4. 众人彼此说,我们不如立一个首领回埃及去吧。
  5. 摩西,亚伦就俯伏在以色列全会众面前。
  1. Then all the congregation lifted up their voices and cried, and the people wept that night.
  2. All the sons of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron; and the whole congregation said to them, "Would that we had died in the land of Egypt! Or would that we had died in this wilderness!
  3. "Why is the LORD bringing us into this land, to fall by the sword? Our wives and our little ones will become plunder; would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?"
  4. So they said to one another, "Let us appoint a leader and return to Egypt."
  5. Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces in the presence of all the assembly of the congregation of the sons of Israel.
 
 
  1. 窥探地的人中,嫩的儿子约书亚和耶孚尼的儿子迦勒撕裂衣服,
  2. 对以色列全会众说,我们所窥探,经过之地是极美之地。
  3. 耶和华若喜悦我们,就必将我们领进那地,把地赐给我们。那地原是流奶与蜜之地。
  4. 但你们不可背叛耶和华,也不要怕那地的居民。因为他们是我们的食物,并且荫庇他们的已经离开他们。有耶和华与我们同在,不要怕他们。
  5. 但全会众说,拿石头打死他们二人。忽然,耶和华的荣光在会幕中向以色列众人显现。
  1. Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, of those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes;
  2. and they spoke to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, saying, "The land which we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land.
  3. "If the LORD is pleased with us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us--a land which flows with milk and honey.
  4. "Only do not rebel against the LORD; and do not fear the people of the land, for they will be our prey. Their protection has been removed from them, and the LORD is with us; do not fear them."
  5. But all the congregation said to stone them with stones Then the glory of the LORD appeared in the tent of meeting to all the sons of Israel.
 
 
  1. 耶和华对摩西说,这百姓藐视我要到几时呢,我在他们中间行了这一切神迹,他们还不信我要到几时呢,
  2. 我要用瘟疫击杀他们,使他们不得承受那地,叫你的后裔成为大国,比他们强胜。
  3. 摩西对耶和华说,埃及人必听见这事。因为你曾施展大能,将这百姓从他们中间领上来。
  4. 埃及人要将这事传给迦南地的居民。那民已经听见你耶和华是在这百姓中间。因为你面对面被人看见,有你的云彩停在他们以上。你日间在云柱中,夜间在火柱中,在他们前面行。
  5. 如今你若把这百姓杀了,如杀一人,那些听见你名声的列邦必议论说,
  1. The LORD said to Moses, "How long will this people spurn Me? And how long will they not believe in Me, despite all the signs which I have performed in their midst?
  2. "I will smite them with pestilence and dispossess them, and I will make you into a nation greater and mightier than they."
  3. But Moses said to the LORD, "Then the Egyptians will hear of it, for by Your strength You brought up this people from their midst,
  4. and they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that You, O LORD, are in the midst of this people, for You, O LORD, are seen eye to eye, while Your cloud stands over them; and You go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night.
  5. "Now if You slay this people as one man, then the nations who have heard of Your fame will say,
 
 
  1. 耶和华因为不能把这百姓领进他向他们起誓应许之地,所以在旷野把他们杀了。
  2. 现在求主大显能力,照你所说过的话说,
  3. 耶和华不轻易发怒,并有丰盛的慈爱,赦免罪孽和过犯。万不以有罪的为无罪,必追讨他的罪,自父及子,直到三,四代。
  4. 求你照你的大慈爱赦免这百姓的罪孽,好像你从埃及到如今常赦免他们一样。
  5. 耶和华说,我照着你的话赦免了他们。
  1. 'Because the LORD could not bring this people into the land which He promised them by oath, therefore He slaughtered them in the wilderness.'
  2. "But now, I pray, let the power of the Lord be great, just as You have declared,
  3. 'The LORD is slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but He will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generations.'
  4. "Pardon, I pray, the iniquity of this people according to the greatness of Your lovingkindness, just as You also have forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now."
  5. So the LORD said, "I have pardoned them according to your word;
 
 
  1. 然我指着我的永生起誓,遍地要被我的荣耀充满。
  2. 这些人虽看见我的荣耀和我在埃及与旷野所行的神迹,仍然试探我这十次,不听从我的话,
  3. 他们断不得看见我向他们的祖宗所起誓应许之地。凡藐视我的,一个也不得看见。
  4. 惟独我的仆人迦勒,因他另有一个心志,专一跟从我,我就把他领进他所去过的那地。他的后裔也必得那地为业。
  5. 亚玛力人和迦南人住在谷中,明天你们要转回,从红海的路往旷野去。
  1. but indeed, as I live, all the earth will be filled with the glory of the LORD.
  2. "Surely all the men who have seen My glory and My signs which I performed in Egypt and in the wilderness, yet have put Me to the test these ten times and have not listened to My voice,
  3. shall by no means see the land which I swore to their fathers, nor shall any of those who spurned Me see it.
  4. "But My servant Caleb, because he has had a different spirit and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land which he entered, and his descendants shall take possession of it.
  5. "Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites live in the valleys; turn tomorrow and set out to the wilderness by the way of the Red Sea."
 
 
  1. 耶和华对摩西,亚伦说,
  2. 这恶会众向我发怨言,我忍耐他们要到几时呢,以色列人向我所发的怨言,我都听见了。
  3. 你们告诉他们,耶和华说,我指着我的永生起誓,我必要照你们达到我耳中的话待你们。
  4. 你们的尸首必倒在这旷野,并且你们中间凡被数点,从二十岁以外,向我发怨言的,
  5. 必不得进我起誓应许叫你们住的那地。惟有耶孚尼的儿子迦勒和嫩的儿子约书亚才能进去。
  1. The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,
  2. "How long shall I bear with this evil congregation who are grumbling against Me? I have heard the complaints of the sons of Israel, which they are making against Me.
  3. "Say to them, 'As I live,' says the LORD, 'just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will surely do to you;
  4. your corpses will fall in this wilderness, even all your numbered men, according to your complete number from twenty years old and upward, who have grumbled against Me.
  5. 'Surely you shall not come into the land in which I swore to settle you, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun.
 
 
  1. 但你们的妇人孩子,就是你们所说,要被掳掠的,我必把他们领进去,他们就得知你们所厌弃的那地。
  2. 至于你们,你们的尸首必倒在这旷野。
  3. 你们的儿女必在旷野飘流四十年,担当你们淫行的罪,直到你们的尸首在旷野消灭。
  4. 按你们窥探那地的四十日,一年顶一日,你们要担当罪孽四十年,就知道我与你们疏远了,
  5. 我耶和华说过,我总要这样待这一切聚集敌我的恶会众。他们必在这旷野消灭,在这里死亡。
  1. 'Your children, however, whom you said would become a prey--I will bring them in, and they will know the land which you have rejected.
  2. 'But as for you, your corpses will fall in this wilderness.
  3. 'Your sons shall be shepherds for forty years in the wilderness, and they will suffer for your unfaithfulness, until your corpses lie in the wilderness.
  4. 'According to the number of days which you spied out the land, forty days, for every day you shall bear your guilt a year, even forty years, and you will know My opposition.
  5. 'I, the LORD, have spoken, surely this I will do to all this evil congregation who are gathered together against Me. In this wilderness they shall be destroyed, and there they will die.'"
 
 
  1. 摩西所打发,窥探那地的人回来,报那地的恶信,叫全会众向摩西发怨言,
  2. 这些报恶信的人都遭瘟疫,死在耶和华面前。
  3. 其中惟有嫩的儿子约书亚和耶孚尼的儿子迦勒仍然存活。
  4. 摩西将这些话告诉以色列众人,他们就甚悲哀。
  5. 清早起来,上山顶去,说,我们在这里,我们有罪了。情愿上耶和华所应许的地方去。
  1. As for the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land and who returned and made all the congregation grumble against him by bringing out a bad report concerning the land,
  2. even those men who brought out the very bad report of the land died by a plague before the LORD.
  3. But Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh remained alive out of those men who went to spy out the land.
  4. When Moses spoke these words to all the sons of Israel, the people mourned greatly.
  5. In the morning, however, they rose up early and went up to the ridge of the hill country, saying, "Here we are; we have indeed sinned, but we will go up to the place which the LORD has promised."
 
 
  1. 摩西说,你们为何违背耶和华的命令呢,这事不能顺利了。
  2. 不要上去。因为耶和华不在你们中间,恐怕你们被仇敌杀败了。
  3. 亚玛力人和迦南人都在你们面前,你们必倒在刀下。因你们退回不跟从耶和华,所以他必不与你们同在。
  4. 他们却擅敢上山顶去,然而耶和华的约柜和摩西没有出营。
  5. 于是亚玛力人和住在那山上的迦南人都下来击打他们,把他们杀退了,直到何珥玛。
  1. But Moses said, "Why then are you transgressing the commandment of the LORD, when it will not succeed?
  2. "Do not go up, or you will be struck down before your enemies, for the LORD is not among you.
  3. "For the Amalekites and the Canaanites will be there in front of you, and you will fall by the sword, inasmuch as you have turned back from following the LORD. And the LORD will not be with you."
  4. But they went up heedlessly to the ridge of the hill country; neither the ark of the covenant of the LORD nor Moses left the camp.
  5. Then the Amalekites and the Canaanites who lived in that hill country came down, and struck them and beat them down as far as Hormah.
