  1. The family heads of the clan of Gilead son of Makir, the son of Manasseh, who were from the clans of the descendants of Joseph, came and spoke before Moses and the leaders, the heads of the Israelite families.
  2. They said, "When the LORD commanded my lord to give the land as an inheritance to the Israelites by lot, he ordered you to give the inheritance of our brother Zelophehad to his daughters.
  3. Now suppose they marry men from other Israelite tribes; then their inheritance will be taken from our ancestral inheritance and added to that of the tribe they marry into. And so part of the inheritance allotted to us will be taken away.
  4. When the Year of Jubilee for the Israelites comes, their inheritance will be added to that of the tribe into which they marry, and their property will be taken from the tribal inheritance of our forefathers."
  5. Then at the LORD's command Moses gave this order to the Israelites: "What the tribe of the descendants of Joseph is saying is right.
  1. 约瑟的后裔，玛拿西的孙子，玛吉的儿子基列，他子孙中的诸族长来到摩西和作首领的以色猎人族长面前，
  2. 说，耶和华曾吩咐我主拈阄分地给以色列人为业，我主也受了耶和华的吩咐将我们兄弟西罗非哈的产业分给他的众女儿。
  3. 她们若嫁以色列别支派的人，就必将我们祖宗所遗留的产业加在她们丈夫支派的产业中。这样，我们拈阄所得的产业就要减少了。
  4. 到了以色列人的禧年，这女儿的产业就必加在她们丈夫支派的产业上。这样，我们祖宗支派的产业就减少了。
  5. 摩西照耶和华的话吩咐以色列人说，约瑟支派的人说得有理。
 
 
  1. This is what the LORD commands for Zelophehad's daughters: They may marry anyone they please as long as they marry within the tribal clan of their father.
  2. No inheritance in Israel is to pass from tribe to tribe, for every Israelite shall keep the tribal land inherited from his forefathers.
  3. Every daughter who inherits land in any Israelite tribe must marry someone in her father's tribal clan, so that every Israelite will possess the inheritance of his fathers.
  4. No inheritance may pass from tribe to tribe, for each Israelite tribe is to keep the land it inherits."
  5. So Zelophehad's daughters did as the LORD commanded Moses.
  1. 论到西罗非哈的众女儿，耶和华这样吩咐说，她们可以随意嫁人，只是要嫁同宗支派的人。
  2. 这样，以色列人的产业就不从这支派归到那支派，因为以色列人要各守各祖宗支派的产业。
  3. 凡在以色列支派中得了产业的女子必作同宗支派人的妻，好叫以色列人各自承受他祖宗的产业。
  4. 这样，他们的产业就不从这支派归到那支派，因为以色列支派的人要各守各的产业。
  5. 耶和华怎样吩咐摩西，西罗非哈的众女儿就怎样行。
 
 
  1. Zelophehad's daughters--Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milcah and Noah--married their cousins on their father's side.
  2. They married within the clans of the descendants of Manasseh son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained in their father's clan and tribe.
  3. These are the commands and regulations the LORD gave through Moses to the Israelites on the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho.
  1. 西罗非哈的女儿玛拉，得撒，曷拉，密迦，挪阿都嫁了他们伯叔的儿子。
  2. 她们嫁入约瑟儿子，玛拿西子孙的族中。她们的产业仍留在同宗支派中。
  3. 这是耶和华在摩押平原约旦河边，耶利哥对面藉着摩西所吩咐以色列人的命令典章。
