  1. 但你所讲的，总要合乎那纯正的道理。
  2. 劝老年人，要有节制，端庄，自守，在信心爱心忍耐上，都要纯全无疵。
  3. 又劝老年妇人，举止行动要恭敬，不说谗言，不给酒作奴仆，用善道教训人。
  4. 好指教少年妇人，爱丈夫，爱儿女，
  5. 谨守贞洁，料理家务，待人有恩，顺服自己的丈夫，免得神的道理被毁谤。
  1. But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
  2. That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.
  3. The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
  4. That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
  5. To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
 
 
  1. 又劝少年人要谨守。
  2. 你自己凡事要显出善行的榜样，在教训上要正直，端庄，
  3. 言语纯全，无可指责，叫那反对的人，既无处可说我们的不是，便自觉羞愧。
  4. 劝仆人要顺服自己的主人，凡事讨他的喜欢。不可顶撞他。
  5. 不可私拿东西。要显为忠诚，以致凡事尊荣我们救主神的道。
  1. Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.
  2. In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
  3. Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
  4. Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;
  5. Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
 
 
  1. 因为神救众人的恩典，已经显明出来，
  2. 教训我们除去不敬虔的心，和世俗的情欲，在今世自守，公义，敬虔度日。
  3. 等候所盼望的福，并等候至大的神，和（或作无和字）我们救主耶稣基督的荣耀显现。
  4. 他为我们舍了自己，要赎我们脱离一切罪恶，又洁净我们，特作自己的子民，热心为善。
  5. 这些事你要讲明，劝戒人，用各等权柄责备人。不可叫人轻看你。
  1. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
  2. Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
  3. Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
  4. Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
  5. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
