  1. Now it came about after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, that the LORD spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' servant, saying,
  2. "Moses My servant is dead; now therefore arise, cross this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them, to the sons of Israel.
  3. "Every place on which the sole of your foot treads, I have given it to you, just as I spoke to Moses.
  4. "From the wilderness and this Lebanon, even as far as the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and as far as the Great Sea toward the setting of the sun will be your territory.
  5. "No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you.
  1. 耶和华的仆人摩西死了以后，耶和华晓谕摩西的帮手，嫩的儿子约书亚，说，
  2. 我的仆人摩西死了。现在你要起来，和众百姓过这约旦河，往我所要赐给以色列人的地去。
  3. 凡你们脚掌所踏之地，我都照着我所应许摩西的话赐给你们了。
  4. 从旷野，和这利巴嫩，直到伯拉大河。赫人的全地。又到大海日落之处。都要作你们的境界。
  5. 你平生的日子，必无一人能在你面前删立得住。我怎样与摩西同在，也必照样与你同在。我必不撇下你，也不丢弃你。
 
 
  1. "Be strong and courageous, for you shall give this people possession of the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.
  2. "Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go.
  3. "This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.
  4. "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."
  5. Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying,
  1. 你当刚强壮胆。因为你必使这百姓承受那地为业，就是我向他们列祖起誓应许赐给他们的地。
  2. 只要刚强，大大壮胆，谨守遵行我仆人摩西所吩咐你的一切律法，不可偏离左右，使你无论往哪里去，都可以顺利。
  3. 这律法书不可离开你的口，总要昼夜思想，好使你谨守遵行这书上所写的一切话。如此，你的道路就可以亨通，凡事顺利。
  4. 我岂没有吩咐你麽。你当刚强壮胆。不要惧怕，也不要惊惶。因为你无论往哪里去，耶和华你的神必与你同在。
  5. 于是，约书亚吩咐百姓的官长说，
 
 
  1. "Pass through the midst of the camp and command the people, saying, 'Prepare provisions for yourselves, for within three days you are to cross this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God is giving you, to possess it.'"
  2. To the Reubenites and to the Gadites and to the half-tribe of Manasseh, Joshua said,
  3. "Remember the word which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, saying, 'The LORD your God gives you rest and will give you this land.'
  4. "Your wives, your little ones, and your cattle shall remain in the land which Moses gave you beyond the Jordan, but you shall cross before your brothers in battle array, all your valiant warriors, and shall help them,
  5. until the LORD gives your brothers rest, as He gives you, and they also possess the land which the LORD your God is giving them. Then you shall return to your own land, and possess that which Moses the servant of the LORD gave you beyond the Jordan toward the sunrise."
  1. 你们要走遍营中，吩咐百姓说，当预备食物。因为三日之内你们要过这约旦河，进去得耶和华你们神赐你们为业之地。
  2. 约书亚对流便人，迦得人，和玛拿西半支派的人说，
  3. 你们要追念耶和华的仆人摩西所吩咐你们的话说，耶和华你们的神使你们得享平安，也必将这地赐给你们。
  4. 你们的妻子，孩子，和牲畜都可以留在约旦河东，摩西所给你们的地。但你们中间一切大能的勇士都要带着兵器在你们的弟兄前面过去，帮助他们，
  5. 等到耶和华使你们的弟兄像你们一样得享平安，并且得着耶和华你们神所赐他们为业之地，那时才可以回你们所得之地，承受为业，就是耶和华的仆人摩西在约旦河东，向日出之地所给你们的。
 
 
  1. They answered Joshua, saying, "All that you have commanded us we will do, and wherever you send us we will go.
  2. "Just as we obeyed Moses in all things, so we will obey you; only may the LORD your God be with you as He was with Moses.
  3. "Anyone who rebels against your command and does not obey your words in all that you command him, shall be put to death; only be strong and courageous."
  1. 他们回答约书亚说，你所吩咐我们行的，我们都必行。你所差遣我们去的，我们都必去。
  2. 我们从前在一切事上怎样听从摩西，现在也必照样听从你。惟愿耶和华你的神与你同在，像与摩西同在一样。
  3. 无论什么人违背你的命令，不听从你所吩咐他的一切话，就必治死他。你只要刚强壮胆。
