  1. And after this it came to pass that David smote the Philistines, and subdued them: and David took Methegammah out of the hand of the Philistines.
  2. And he smote Moab, and measured them with a line, casting them down to the ground; even with two lines measured he to put to death, and with one full line to keep alive. And so the Moabites became David's servants, and brought gifts.
  3. David smote also Hadadezer, the son of Rehob, king of Zobah, as he went to recover his border at the river Euphrates.
  4. And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven hundred horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen: and David houghed all the chariot horses, but reserved of them for an hundred chariots.
  5. And when the Syrians of Damascus came to succour Hadadezer king of Zobah, David slew of the Syrians two and twenty thousand men.
  1. 此后，大卫攻打非利士人，把他们治服，从他们手下夺取了京城的权柄（原文作母城的嚼环）。
  2. 又攻打摩押人，使他们躺卧在地上，用绳量一量，量二绳的杀了，量一绳的存留。摩押人就归服大卫，给他进贡。
  3. 琐巴王利合的儿子哈大底谢往大河去，要夺回他的国权。大卫就攻打他，
  4. 擒拿了他的马兵一千七百，步兵二万，将拉战车的马砍断蹄筋，但留下一百辆车的马。
  5. 大马色的亚兰人来帮助琐巴王哈大底谢，大卫就杀了亚兰人二万二千。
 
 
  1. Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus: and the Syrians became servants to David, and brought gifts. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.
  2. And David took the shields of gold that were on the servants of Hadadezer, and brought them to Jerusalem.
  3. And from Betah, and from Berothai, cities of Hadadezer, king David took exceeding much brass.
  4. When Toi king of Hamath heard that David had smitten all the host of Hadadezer,
  5. Then Toi sent Joram his son unto king David, to salute him, and to bless him, because he had fought against Hadadezer, and smitten him: for Hadadezer had wars with Toi. And Joram brought with him vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and vessels of brass:
  1. 于是大卫在大马色的亚兰地设立防营，亚兰人就归服他，给他进贡。大卫无论往哪里去，耶和华都使他得胜。
  2. 他夺了哈大底谢臣仆所拿的金盾牌，带到耶路撒冷。
  3. 大卫王又从属哈大底谢的比他和比罗他城中夺取了许多的铜。
  4. 哈马王陀以听见大卫杀败哈大底谢的全军，
  5. 就打发他儿子约兰去见大卫王，问他的安，为他祝福，因为他杀败了哈大底谢，原来陀以与哈大底谢常常争战。约兰带了金银铜的器皿来，
 
 
  1. Which also king David did dedicate unto the LORD, with the silver and gold that he had dedicated of all nations which he subdued;
  2. Of Syria, and of Moab, and of the children of Ammon, and of the Philistines, and of Amalek, and of the spoil of Hadadezer, son of Rehob, king of Zobah.
  3. And David gat him a name when he returned from smiting of the Syrians in the valley of salt, being eighteen thousand men.
  4. And he put garrisons in Edom; throughout all Edom put he garrisons, and all they of Edom became David's servants. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.
  5. And David reigned over all Israel; and David executed judgment and justice unto all his people.
  1. 大卫王将这些器皿和他治服各国所得来的金银都分别为圣，献给耶和华，
  2. 就是从亚兰，摩押，亚扪，非利士，亚玛力人所得来的，以及从琐巴王利合的儿子哈大底谢所掠之物。
  3. 大卫在盐谷击杀了亚兰（或作以东，见诗篇六十篇诗题）一万八千人回来，就得了大名。
  4. 又在以东全地设立防营，以东人就都归服大卫。大卫无论往哪里去，耶和华都使他得胜。
  5. 大卫作以色列众人的王，又向众民秉公行义。
 
 
  1. And Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the host; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder;
  2. And Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, were the priests; and Seraiah was the scribe;
  3. And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over both the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and David's sons were chief rulers.
  1. 洗鲁雅的儿子约押作元帅。亚希律的儿子约沙法作史官。
  2. 亚希突的儿子撒督和亚比亚他的儿子亚希米勒作祭司长。西莱雅作书记。
  3. 耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅统辖基利提人和比利提人。大卫的众子都作领袖。
