Genesis 33 [KJV:简体]   
 
  1. And Jacob lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, Esau came, and with him four hundred men. And he divided the children unto Leah, and unto Rachel, and unto the two handmaids.
  2. And he put the handmaids and their children foremost, and Leah and her children after, and Rachel and Joseph hindermost.
  3. And he passed over before them, and bowed himself to the ground seven times, until he came near to his brother.
  4. And Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him: and they wept.
  5. And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who are those with thee? And he said, The children which God hath graciously given thy servant.
  1. 雅各举目观看，见以扫来了，后头跟着四百人，他就把孩子们分开交给利亚，拉结，和两个使女，
  2. 并且叫两个使女和她们的孩子在前头，利亚和她的孩子在后头，拉结和约瑟在尽后头。
  3. 他自己在他们前头过去，一连七次俯伏在地才就近他哥哥。
  4. 以扫跑来迎接他，将他抱住，又搂着他的颈项，与他亲嘴，两个人就哭了。
  5. 以扫举目看见妇人孩子，就说，这些和你同行的是谁呢，雅各说，这些孩子是神施恩给你的仆人的。
 
 
  1. Then the handmaidens came near, they and their children, and they bowed themselves.
  2. And Leah also with her children came near, and bowed themselves: and after came Joseph near and Rachel, and they bowed themselves.
  3. And he said, What meanest thou by all this drove which I met? And he said, These are to find grace in the sight of my lord.
  4. And Esau said, I have enough, my brother; keep that thou hast unto thyself.
  5. And Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, if now I have found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for therefore I have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of God, and thou wast pleased with me.
  1. 于是两个使女和她们的孩子前来下拜。
  2. 利亚和她的孩子也前来下拜。随后约瑟和拉结也前来下拜。
  3. 以扫说，我所遇见的这些群畜是什么意思呢，雅各说，是要在我主面前蒙恩的。
  4. 以扫说，兄弟阿，我的已经够了，你的仍归你吧。
  5. 雅各说，不然，我若在你眼前蒙恩，就求你从我手里收下这礼物。因为我见了你的面，如同见了神的面，并且你容纳了我。
 
 
  1. Take, I pray thee, my blessing that is brought to thee; because God hath dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough. And he urged him, and he took it.
  2. And he said, Let us take our journey, and let us go, and I will go before thee.
  3. And he said unto him, My lord knoweth that the children are tender, and the flocks and herds with young are with me: and if men should overdrive them one day, all the flock will die.
  4. Let my lord, I pray thee, pass over before his servant: and I will lead on softly, according as the cattle that goeth before me and the children be able to endure, until I come unto my lord unto Seir.
  5. And Esau said, Let me now leave with thee some of the folk that are with me. And he said, What needeth it? let me find grace in the sight of my lord.
  1. 求你收下我带来给你的礼物。因为神恩待我，使我充足。雅各再三地求他，他才收下了。
  2. 以扫说，我们可以起身前往，我在你前头走。
  3. 雅各对他说，我主知道孩子们年幼娇嫩，牛羊也正在乳养的时候，若是催赶一天，群畜都必死了。
  4. 求我主在仆人前头走，我要量着在我面前群畜和孩子的力量慢慢地前行，直走到西珥我主那里。
  5. 以扫说，容我把跟随我的人留几个在你这里。雅各说，何必呢，只要在我主眼前蒙恩就是了。
 
 
  1. So Esau returned that day on his way unto Seir.
  2. And Jacob journeyed to Succoth, and built him an house, and made booths for his cattle: therefore the name of the place is called Succoth.
  3. And Jacob came to Shalem, a city of Shechem, which is in the land of Canaan, when he came from Padanaram; and pitched his tent before the city.
  4. And he bought a parcel of a field, where he had spread his tent, at the hand of the children of Hamor, Shechem's father, for an hundred pieces of money.
  5. And he erected there an altar, and called it EleloheIsrael.
  1. 于是，以扫当日起行，回往西珥去了。
  2. 雅各就往疏割去，在那里为自己盖造房屋，又为牲畜搭棚。因此那地方名叫疏割（就是棚的意思）。
  3. 雅各从巴旦亚兰回来的时候，平平安安地到了迦南地的示剑城，在城东支搭帐棚，
  4. 就用一百块银子向示剑的父亲，哈抹的子孙买了支帐棚的那块地，
  5. 在那里筑了一座坛，起名叫伊利伊罗伊以色列（就是神，以色列神的意思）。
