  1. When the kingdom of Rehoboam was established and strong, he and all Israel with him forsook the law of the LORD.
  2. And it came about in King Rehoboam's fifth year, because they had been unfaithful to the LORD, that Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem
  3. with 1,200 chariots and 60,000 horsemen. And the people who came with him from Egypt were without number: the Lubim, the Sukkiim and the Ethiopians.
  4. He captured the fortified cities of Judah and came as far as Jerusalem.
  5. Then Shemaiah the prophet came to Rehoboam and the princes of Judah who had gathered at Jerusalem because of Shishak, and he said to them, "Thus says the LORD, 'You have forsaken Me, so I also have forsaken you to Shishak.'"
  1. 罗波安的国坚立，他强盛的时候就离弃耶和华的律法，以色列人也都随从他。
  2. 罗波安王第五年，埃及王示撒上来攻打耶路撒冷，因为王和民得罪了耶和华。
  3. 示撒带战车一千二百辆，马兵六万，并且跟从他出埃及的路比人，苏基人，和古实人，多得不可胜数。
  4. 他攻取了犹大的坚固城，就来到耶路撒冷。
  5. 那时，犹大的首领因为示撒就聚集在耶路撒冷。有先知示玛雅去见罗波安和众首领，对他们说，耶和华如此说，你们离弃了我，所以我使你们落在示撒手里。
 
 
  1. So the princes of Israel and the king humbled themselves and said, "The LORD is righteous."
  2. When the LORD saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah, saying, "They have humbled themselves so I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some measure of deliverance, and My wrath shall not be poured out on Jerusalem by means of Shishak.
  3. "But they will become his slaves so that they may learn the difference between My service and the service of the kingdoms of the countries."
  4. So Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem, and took the treasures of the house of the LORD and the treasures of the king's palace He took everything; he even took the golden shields which Solomon had made.
  5. Then King Rehoboam made shields of bronze in their place and committed them to the care of the commanders of the guard who guarded the door of the king's house.
  1. 于是王和以色列的众首领都自卑说，耶和华是公义的。
  2. 耶和华见他们自卑，耶和华的话就临到示玛雅说，他们既自卑，我必不灭绝他们。必使他们略得拯救，我不藉着示撒的手将我的怒气倒在耶路撒冷。
  3. 然而他们必作示撒的仆人，好叫他们知道，服事我与服事外邦人有何分别。
  4. 于是，埃及王示撒上来攻取耶路撒冷，夺了耶和华殿和王宫里的宝物，尽都带走，又夺去所罗门制造的金盾牌。
  5. 罗波安王制造铜盾牌代替那金盾牌，交给守王宫门的护卫长看守。
 
 
  1. As often as the king entered the house of the LORD, the guards came and carried them and then brought them back into the guards' room.
  2. And when he humbled himself, the anger of the LORD turned away from him, so as not to destroy him completely; and also conditions were good in Judah.
  3. So King Rehoboam strengthened himself in Jerusalem and reigned. Now Rehoboam was forty-one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which the LORD had chosen from all the tribes of Israel, to put His name there. And his mother's name was Naamah the Ammonitess.
  4. He did evil because he did not set his heart to seek the LORD.
  5. Now the acts of Rehoboam, from first to last, are they not written in the records of Shemaiah the prophet and of Iddo the seer, according to genealogical enrollment? And there were wars between Rehoboam and Jeroboam continually.
  1. 王每逢进耶和华的殿，护卫兵就拿这盾牌，随后仍将盾牌送回，放在护卫房。
  2. 王自卑的时候，耶和华的怒气就转消了，不将他灭尽，并且在犹大中间也有善益的事。
  3. 罗波安王自强，在耶路撒冷作王。他登基的时候年四十一岁，在耶路撒冷，就是耶和华从以色列众支派中所选择立他名的城，作王十七年。罗波安的母亲名叫拿玛，是亚扪人。
  4. 罗波安行恶，因他不立定心意寻求耶和华。
  5. 罗波安所行的事，自始至终不都写在先知示玛雅和先见易多的史记上麽。罗波安与耶罗波安时常争战。
 
 
  1. And Rehoboam slept with his fathers and was buried in the city of David; and his son Abijah became king in his place.
  1. 罗波安与他列祖同睡，葬在大卫城里。他儿子亚比雅接续他作王。
